"oh, hey Dawn," Kensuke said when he noticed Dawn sat beside him, "Reading class is borin' as heII don't you thnk?" He took out his phone and texted Kitty: 'Hey is Grey OK?' and pocketed it so the teacher wouldn't see and then threw another pencil in the air above the same unsuspecting student's desk when all the pencils above the desk fell on the desk. The teacher heard the bang of the falling pencis and thought they were being shot at and ducked under the desk whle everyone else was laughing.

Danya gazed up at the clock. it was nearly recess time. just a few more minutes. The highly inteligent Danya didn't understand Enlgish well, but numbers were almost universal. he flew through his math work. Infact, He'd finished the hour's workin 45 minutes. the remaining fifteen he almost always reserved to stop and thing, but occasionally, he turned to homework. This extra time is the reason he didn't take advanced math. He wasn't after that kind of challenge. Although Danya wondered. did Kaito do advanced math? Would Danya have classes with him if he transfered. Danya wished dearly that he had Joey's number. He checked through his phone but he couldn't find numbers for anyone even remotely connected to the boy. Danya sighed and put his head down on the desk. Just two more minutes, Danya, Just two more. You can do that. And then this boy's all yours! Even his thoughts were half-hearted, he was more confident then ever, but not confident enough to banish this kind of doubt.

"Uryaaa!!!" He had rammed through the psyche class door as the bell rung, some classes would end, and a few would begin, in his case........he made himself look like an idiot in front of the class, not that he cared. "Oy! teach, made it in time!" he shouted out loud in a booming, and obnoxious-sounding voice.

 

the teacher looked at him like he was insane, and pointed to the clock, showing he was 15 min. late. "Ah...........crap....." there was only one seat in the back, he knew no one, but hey...New year new people right? As he walked in he heard a loud commotion and dived for his deck thinking they were gun shots. "UWAH!!!!"

Kitty received the text from Kensuke as soon as she walked in Grey's home. She texted back: Yeh, he's fine. Me and his father donated blood and he's stable. I'm not gonna be back in school until Grey is, so you might as well tell everyone that.

Grey woke up alone in the room.

"Damn...I've been out for so long..." He was thankful he was alive. He would still be there for Lydia. "Hmm...Well, let's see what's on TV...Hope they've got cable so I can watch some damn cartoons..."

Finally, the period ended, Danya awoke when he heard the bell, and imidiately forwarded out, rushing to catch his potential boyfriend. He made his way in the direction Kaito had left in, with any luck he'd be able to find the boy, he started to look into class rooms, by the time he'd checked his third room, he spoted Kaito. There he is, I wonder what he's thinking right now. I wonder if I'm on his mind. I wonder why I can't get him off mine... Danya was lovestruck. he closed his eyes for a moment, waiting for Kaito to emerge from class. He tucked his hands into his pockest, and found that before drifting off to sleep he'd written his number on a sheet of paper, ready to give to the boy. He produced the paper from his left -side pocket and smiled, making eye-contact with Joey.

Dawn noticed the sound of the pencils, but she wasn't alarm, since she already knew that it was Kensuke's doing. She laughed slightly at some of the other student's reaction. Then she heard the bell ring so she took her stuff and stood up, walking slowly towards the door.

"I'm pretty sure we have recess next..." she muttered to herself as she walked out.

Kaito heard the bell ring and he wasn't sure whether to dread it, or to love it. He stood up, with semi-unwillingness and as he did this, he wondered when he would see Danya again. Just as he was wondering this, he exited the class room and saw Danya.

"Hey." he greeted shortly. Before continuing his talk with Danya, Dawn walked by and gave Kaito a quick knuckle-touch as she walked away. Kaito then turned to Danya again.

"How was class?" His accent was thick on his soft voice. He smiled at Joey and flicked his hair down more more comfortably over his eye. He couldn't help but wonder what the recess break would bring as he walked along-side Joey, he fidgeted just a bit as doubt crept back into his mind. Maybe this boy wasn't just going to magically fall into his arms. Maybe he would have to work for it like any normal human would. He wasn't that special But I still might as well ask him. I've got nothing to loose. "Joey, I was thinking that perhaps we could, have dinner. I know this is sudden and that you're probably not....Interested in me in that sense. So I understand if you say no." That waas the most awkward string of words that Danya had ever put together in any language, he imidiately breathed a large internal sigh.

"See you two buggers later," Kensuke said extrememly rushed, like he'd probably get chased in the next minute or so, which was about to happen. He hid in the Janitor's Closet which at the time was unlocked, as the angry student who got told off passed by looking for him. Kensuke opened the door and walked out. "So I forgot to tell you guys something, Lydia told me to tell you she wouldn't be at school for like a week."

Kaito stopped for a moment to think about the question, which he really didn't need to think about, because he knew the answer. Without any hesitation he looked towards Danya and smiled

"That'd be nice. Where do you wanna go? I'll pick you up." he said.

Through you wouldn't be able to tell, Kaito was actually feeling happy today.

Did he just say yes? He actually said yes! Danya's face grew into a radiant smile. his well-maintained pearly white teeth shining. "How about you pick the place? I don't really go out too much." Danya was overjoyed. He tried perhaps to downplay this, but he felt as though he could sing and dance at the moment. He looked Joey up and down rather indescretely He continued to speak. "I've never..." He hesitated briefly. "I've never been on a date before. So I don't really know the restraunts here..." Danya felt himself offering his hand to the other boy, he held the phone-number in it and hoped that Kaito would willingly hold his hand, mostly for the spur of the moment enjoyment, but partially for the future in passing on the phone number. "I live at Eighteen Oxford Place" He said slowly, making sure he remembered the name of the house. And any time you want to come to pick me up, or just to see me you're welcome."

Kaito smiled and thought for moment. Then it came to him.

"How about Italian food?" he asked. After he did so, he noticed Danya's hand. He held it briefly and looked at the paper. He then took the piece of paper and tucked it safely in his vest pocket. He made sure that he heard the address right and then he wrote it down on his hand, just in case. He smiled warmly again.

"Tonight at 7 sound good?" he asked.

"That sounds great. I've never had Italian before either, well, besides just pizza and spaghetti. But anyway, what are you doing now?" Danya asked hoping he would have some time with the boy before tonight. Tonight? Really? Did I just get my first date? Tonight? Danya felt his heart racing as he realised that he'd done it. He'd gotten past his fear and finally aranged himself a date with a boy, and an amazing one at that. The pair continued to walk togther before ultimately reaching the outside of the school building. the sun warmly kissed Danya' skin and while normally he felt this mild warth was a sickening feeling, right now, it felt inviting, like the sun was actually sofrly touching him. A lover's caress. Or maybe Danya's outlook was the only thing that had changed. His confidence was monumental now. He'd done it! He'd really done it! "What should I wear tonight?" Danya asked, unsure.

Kaito walked with him as he was thinking...Then he heard that Danya had asked him something

"Well, we have free time right now, so I'm not really doing anything..." he responded "And you should wear what ever you want..."

After all, Kaito was interested in the person inside the clothes, rather than the clothes themselves.

Dawn walked around glancing towards everyone and then she stepped outside of the school for a bit.

"There's nothing to do during free time...I guess it's better than class but...it's still boring..." he sighed. She grabbed her skateboard from wear she left it and skated around for a little bit.

"Crap............." he was training yet again during the recess, not exactly what he wanted, but he was asked too and being who he is he couldn't say no.....besides, the more he trained the better it would be for him to eat. However since he was hitting the open air punching bag he also got to scout around the school yard, and while he personally didn't have time for dating.....he didn't mind seeing who was and was not available, and of course he had a few girls he was interested in......though he didn't know their names.....one was riding around in a skateboard right now though.......He tried not to pay attention though and kept practicing his Muay Thai kicks, trying to get himself hungry.

 

Dang.....I can't concentrate, besides, I'm a sucky person.....and it's just a faraway crush.....there are two others......and all three would be better off with someone else. (Horrible way of thinking)

"Ahh, recess my only solace from the horrors of class, and yet something feels wrong in the world, oh yeah now I remember I just got stuffed in a locker, HELP!" Kensuke yelled, "ahh screw it nobody's gonna hear my screams of help so I might as well read some manga," he said taking Vol. 12 of the Code Geass manga and started to read until somebody would free him, "Joey, Dawn, Danya, anybody?!"

Dawn dismounted her skateboard and leaned it against the wall. She then sat down next to her board and muttered "SO...BORED..." until she heard someone shout her name. She got up and searched around the outside of the school and found no body, then she entered the inside and then she checked the hallways. In the hallways, she noticed noise coming from a locker. When she opened the locker, she found Kensuke. Dawn had a facial expression of confusion and slight amusement.

"Gonna eat my Lunch da da danna dana na~ and it'll be good! da da danna dana na~" Joseph was signing along in the hallway as he headed to his locker when he heard a cry for help. "Uwah wa......not another.....who did it this time?" being that he was athletic he did know who was who among the ranks of bullies, on one side, it was because he was pestered by them, on another note...he had kicked each and everyone of their collective arses at least least 10 times......

 

as he walked down trying to look for the voice he also knocked on each locker door to be sure. "Holaz?" he asked each time, looking for the victim. until he saw the girl from outside open a Locker only a few feet away. "Ah.....he's been found......"

"Thank god somebody here," Kensuke said relishing the flood of light. Then he saw Dawn, "oh hey Dawn I guess you recieved my distress call, eh," he said puttin the manga in his bookbag. He looked and saw Joseph, "I guess you heard my distress signal too." kensuke looked at his watch, "Looks like recess is done so I've been in there for 30 minutes," Kensuke said walking to his next class as the bell rang signifying the end of recess. He stopped in his tracks, "Wait I kmow you you're that one athletic guy in my psychology class, Joseph if I remember correctly was your name," Kensuke said walking towards his next class

He noticed that Kensuke was actually in the locker right next to his....and since recess was over.....his lunch was pointless now "Uwah" an exasperated sigh came out of his mouth as he straightened up in front of the two. "Yo! uhm yeah, you're Kensuke right?.......You're also the one that had the gun shot pencil jamboree today...heh heh." he laughed a bit as he tried to remember what class he had next. Unfortunately.....it meant an awkward and probably silent walk with these two...since the seemed to be quite friendly with each other...they wouldn't talk to him right? I mean....he was probably their least favorite type of person.... but he had to go that way anyhow. "Lunch missed......Sis is gonna kill me for skipping lunch again........"

Dawn looked up at the two guys. She smiled and then sighed when the bell rang.

"Well, as long as were getting introductions out of the way, I'm Dawn. 16 years old, one year younger than you guys, I think." she said. Then she glanced around and watched as the hallways slowly became flooded with students. She was starting to wonder if they should move out of the way.

When Delilah heard the bell ring she stood up and took her bag off of the back of the chair.

"Well I guess I'll see you later," she said to Georgia-Lyn as she walked out of the classroom. Delilah was already tired and ready to go home, but she had already swore to herself that she'd stay throughout the whole school day, no matter how much she hated it.

She watched as freshman nervously rushed to get to their next class and how the seniors just didn't seem to care, they all seemed to be at the point where they just wanted to get it all over with.

as he thought in a large crowd he had been separated from the other two. "Oh nuuuu" He noticed himself get pushed towards his next class, in it he spotted the next girl on his list of pretty cute, he knew her name was Delilah from the attendance, but that was all he knew, just Like Dawn (Knows her name...Score!) he wouldn't dare approach her out of complete fear, but they had the next class together at the least. and he normally had the seat behind her....even if thinking that makes him think he's a bit of a creep....but an innocent one......if such a thing exists.... Either way he had to get to his class, he had already missed a few and it was only the first day.....*sigh* this is gonna be one hell of a year for the poor boy.....

Danya nodded, releaved. He couldn't really do the whole 'dress like this' thing well. He was too unique for that. "Could you tell me about yourself? After all, you found out a bit about me this morning, it would be nice to get to know you a little better." Danya knew enough about the object of his affections to tell that he was interested in the boy, but unfortunately, he didn't know how such a relationship would work. He couldn't stop smiling to Kaito, but as a result of this he wasn't watching where he was going. He felt his shoulder collide with someone else, and next he knew he had a hand around his throat. A guy a few inches taller and considerably more buff than Danya had him pinned against a wall. "Watch where you're going fa****!" The larger boy growled to Danya and raised a fist ready to strike him. Danya closed his eyes waiting for the strike.

Delilah walked into her fifth period and sat down at a random desk, she put her bag down next to her and pulled out her phone to check the time. She had one class left after this and then she would be free. She sighed as she put her phone back and waited for the bell to ring, she looked around the class and so far there was no one she knew.

She stared out the window, it was gloomy outside like it usually was, she continued to stare as she got lost in her thoughts.

"Okay...there she is.....just approach her calmly...and try to say hi or something...you're a man right? of course you're a guy that never talked to a girl besides you're sister...some jock I am.....shouldn't this be easier?.....okay few more feet and......" he noticed the pressure lift as he neared her, as if all his troubles were lifted...little did her know it was actually him tripping in front of her desk....one second he noticed himself looking in her direction, the next he pretty much had an epic Desk Bang with his head.....and after that...pain.....lots of pain from the general face area. "UWAH!!!" He bucked his hips backwards and looked up in a horrible embarrassed look towards everyone in the class......"Crap"
