Delilah woke up on her own to see the sun slowly rising outside her window, she dreaded the thought of having to go to school today, she wanted to lay in bed and do nothing.

Don't look, don't look. Delilah tried to tell herself as she looked at her alarm clock, it was three minutes away from six and she knew she had to get up. She unplugged her alarm clock and slowly walked into the bathroom. She splashed cold water in her face in an attempt to wake herself up more.

She brushed her teeth, took a shower, put on a dark purple and black flannel shirt and dark blue skinny jeans, straightened her hair and did her eye makeup.

She then slipped grabbed her bookbag and put on her vans and she was out the door.

I've always hated the first day of school... she thought to herself.

Kaito.

Having already woken up and gotten ready, Joey walked out of his home and let out a faint yawn. He looked up at the sky; Joey wasn't used to getting up this early at all. Everything was calm and natural; this was one of the reasons that he loved Hidden Creek so much. He sighed and thought 'It's all worth it'. He held his pack with one arm and then searched for something inside it. Joey pulled out a piece of mostly crumbled paper that held a list of his classes.

"Kaito J Yahiko - Senior Student - Class Schedule"

Was what the title read.

Joey skimmed through it and examined his classes. Nothing special. High-Tech Science, Advanced Reading, Advanced Language Arts, History, and Intense Math. He sighed

"Math...Stupid numbers..."

He continued walking as he looked at the classes. At the bottom of the sheet, it held the clubs and after school activities that he had signed up for online. Tennis, and the Writer's Club. By no time at all, he had already arrived at the bus stop; he hadn't noticed, and he almost crashed into the stop sign.

Danya had been up for seveal hours, he'd always liked to watch the sun rise, and here in hidden creek it was considerably different to Russia, even after two years, he found it refreshing. He'd already dressed himself, combed his hair to an anal level of perfection put on his sneakers and had time to sit and start to sketch. Now he was applying a little make-up, Danya's feminine manerisms were showing. His mother and her girlfriend slept happily still, they were late risers and late sleepers, Danya's polar opposites. His two-year-old sister on the otherhand was up and hugging him around his denim-clad leg. She spoke in Russian, her more fluent language. "Do you need to go to school today, Danny? I don't want to stay here with Mum and Michelle! They're boring, not like you." Danya replied, also in Russian. "That's sweet, sister, but I do have to go. I'm sorry." Danya grabbed up his messanger bag and left the house, but not before giving his younger sister a tight, yet soft hug. He walked off toward the school wondering what this new year would hold. Maybe Danya would find a boyfriend. That was doubtful though.

Dawn.

Dawn was lying in bed, sleeping soundly like an angel, without any care in the world. As she slept she snored slightly and kept twisting and turning. This was usually the sign that she was either nervous, or she was having a weird dream. Dawn's room was covered with a fair amount of anime posters, along with 2 autographed skate boards hanging up on a side of her wall. Her mother came in quietly and tampered with a few things in her room, after wards, she left quietly; being careful about not waking Dawn up. Dawn continued snoring and she was completely unaware that today was the 1st day of school.

Delilah was walking to the bus stop, it was 6:45 and she was still very sleepy and the fact that it was chilly outside wasn't helping at all. She took her schedule out of her bag and looked at it. She had advanced History, Science, Advanced Language Arts, Reading, and Intense Math.

"Nothing new," she thought out loud as she stuffed her schedule back into her bag as she made her way to busstop.

Delilah had wanted to drop out of school multiple times over the last two years but she knew her father wouldn't have wanted that for her and that her mother would mostly kick her out if she did. Therefore she forces herself to continue going to school.

Georgia-Lyn

Georgia-Lyn sat alone in the school. She'd gotten up early, having mis-set her alarm clock. she now knew the time, but after having walked all the way to school an hour early there was absolutely no way she'd walk back now. She sighed and began to fiddle with her rainbow of sparkling hair, flicking her glitter-clad fringe down over her eye. Georgia-Lyn straightened her top again, it showed her ample bust, some might call it 'slutty' but that wasn't the way Georgia saw it. Georgia got up and started to wander about school, her leg-belt As she accended the outdoor staircase as she'd done many times before. Georgia-Lyn tripped and fell toward the ground, Georgia rose her arms to shield her face, scraping one painfully on the concrete. She lout out a soft ghasp of pain and sit on the steps, producing a bandaid from her bag that she'd packed just in case. She applied it with care.

Danya

Danya arived at his bus stop, he saw a boy, an attractive one, sporting a black band shirt and dark jeans. His hair was layered and dyed in multiple shades. Danya couldn't help but spare a long look at the boy, but he blushed and turned away as he got the feeling that the boy was about to look over him. Dispite the fact that he was honest about his feelings toward men, he was still very shy about it. he looked down feeling flustered as he heard the familiar sound of a bus engine.

Kaito looked up ahead and noticed someone walking closer. As they approached, he slowly recognized the face to be a buddy of his. He gave her a short wave as she arrived at the bus stop.

"Hey. Excited about the new school year...?" he asked her. After he had asked, she took a moment to observe her and then he chuckled "Yeah, you really do look excited, Delilah. There's no fooling these eyes, you are definitely one happy-go-lucky student"

After he had greeted Delilah, someone else caught his eye. The boy that was standing not so far from them. He seemed shy, so Kaito gave him a slight smile.

That smile, wow. He's so gorgeous... But there's no way I stand a chance. He's probably straight. Turning back to the boy as his scarlet cheeks returned to thier normal shade, he saw the bus fast approaching. Moving closer to the unknown, yet captivating figure he prepared himself once and for all to attend the first day of the school year. He checked over his schedual wondering how today looked. English first period, then Drama, Social Studies, Math, then Legal studies to finish off the day. The bus came to a hult, Danya boarded the vehicle as soon as possible, showing the driver his bus pass he took a seat toward the back of the bus and started to stare out the window. He sighed as he felt himself gripped with pre-emptive disapointment. Danya had never had a boyfriend and he'd lost many friends as a result of his feelings. Sure he didnt even know this boy but there was still absolutely no confidence what-so-ever.

From this point forward Grey will be: This, and Kitty will be This.

As everything we once knew fades away, but what is about to happen isn't in sight quite yet, we look at the present, where millions of things could change before they're even given time to.

When Grey arrived at the bus stop, he saw many faces he recognized, namely Joey, Deliah and Kitty. He was somewhat excited fr this new school year.

Grey decided to try to start a conversation with the three people he felt comfortable around. "H-hey, Joey, Deliah, Lydia...E-excit-ted? 'C-c-cause I-I am..." Well, Grey was still shy around the people he was most comfortable with. But his biggest problem was Lydia. He liked her, but she was almost two yeears older than him, and he didn't think she felt nearly the same way. And Danya was here. He just felt uneasy around Danya. It wasn't his homosexuality, it was the make-up he smeared on every morning. Grey hated make-up above everything, including Nazis.

"Oh, h-hey, Grey. H-how's it going for you? What kind of classes did you get? I got Writing and Advanced Art...Not that you care what I got..." Kitty could see the looks on everyone's faces when she spoke. She arrived silently about 7 minutes ago, trying not to be seen. She didn't know why she tried staying invisible in medium-large crowds. But she knew the blush on her cheeks now was not invisible.

Joey looked at Danya and couldn't help but to stare him down a bit until he got on the bus. After wards, he heard what Grey had said.

"Excited? Nah, maybe just curious..." he stated plainly. After having replied, he looked up at the bus and climbed aboard. Joey ended up walking towards the back in the empty seat next to Danya. This sort of happened subconsciously, but Joey didn't mind.

Danya looked up to see the boy walking toward him, his cheeks once again began to turn scarlet and this time he spoke, not wanting to come off as hopelessly shy. his Russian accent seeming impossibly strong. "Hey, I'm Danya." He said not quite managing to look Joey in the eye for embarasment. Well done Danya, you're never going to live this down in your own mind. His glowing face curled into a smile, He wondered if the boy had even understood him through his accent... To save himself from future embarasment he turned back to the window and looked out onto the familiar streets, Recognising some people, most of whom destested him. Many students were walking toward a common destination, that they shared with the passengers of the bus. Danya saw as agirl looked up to see him and said something to her friend. Danya didn't really care that people talked. He wasn't overly concered with the opions of anyone insecure enough to mock people based souly on thier sexual preference.

Joey looked at him blankly for a moment and then his face broke out into an small, amused smile. "Danya. That's nice. I'm Kaito J Yahiko. The J stands for Joey, which is what most people call me" he said.

What a cute accent...

He then noticed Danya acting a bit uneasy.

"If it's making you uncomfortable for me to sit here, just let me know. I could move to a different seat if you like" Joey stated. As the bus got closer to the school, Kaito saw some people that he recognized walking to school. He had almost forgotten what it would feel like to arrive at school.

"No, you can sit, I could do with the company..." Danya said truthfully. "It is good to meet you, Joey, was it?" That's a strange combination of names. The thought crossed Danya's mind. "Your name is...What's the word." Danya began, momentarily lapsing in his english. "Interesting... Where is it from? My name, and my voice are from Russia." Danya smiled to Joey. no longer feeling intimidated, but still shy his cheeks were a pale pink. Danya glanced out the window they were getting closer but still wern't really near the school at all. Danya didn't care though. He was shocked that he'd actually been approached by Joey, anf that the boy actually seemed to WANT to know him. This made Danya's heart smile and his pale blue eyes reflected this with a slight sparkle and and a wide-eyed happiness.

Beep. Beep. BEEP! Jecht's alarm clock sounded off loudly, but he slept soundly. And then his mother came into the picture. "Jecht! Wake up boy!" She yelled storming into his room. Jecht tried to ignore her and pulled his pillow overtop of his head. "Jecht! You'll be late for school." He said said shaking him. Jecht just grunted in reponse. "Okay then." She said calmly and walked out. Jecht peeked out of his pillow to see his mother gone and tried to return to his sleep. Jecht's mother came in hauling a large bucket, inside it was ice cold water. She dumped it ontop of Jecht.

"What's wrong with you?!" He yelled jumping from the freezing water.

"Get ready for school!" She yelled and exited his room. Jecht then began, reluctantly and slowly, to get ready for school as he took his shower and got dressed, grumbling the whole time.

Joey looked at him and nodded. He then thought a little before speaking.

"Russia, huh? I've never met anyone from Russia before..." he started "My name comes from Japan. Kaito meaning Ocean. I was born in Italy, but I never really spent any time there. I lived in Japan for a bit though. Joey is just something a little more common in America, so it's like my nickname and my middle name..."

After he was finished he looked out the window again, and then he directed his attention towards the other people on the bus as he waited for Danya to reply.

Jecht was walking slowly, carrying his backpack on one shoulder. He always walked to school in New York, almost everybody walked. He could see the bus driving away in the distance. Jecht blew the hair out of his and began jogging casually toward the school. Another year at that jacked up school. He thought looking at the very few people who were also walking to school. He began thinking about his home in New York. His friends he left back home. Again he wished his he had never moved to Hidden Creek.

Delilah sat down in an empty seat and put her bookbag next to her so nobody would sit there. Delilah isn't exactly in the best of moods this early in the morning, and the fact that it was the morning of the first day of school wasn't making things any better.

She stared outside the window in a sort of tired daze as the bus drove off.

Off to another year in hell... she thought to herself.

Grey moved onto the bus and immediately headed for the seat directly above the back left wheel. This was his favorite seat. He looked over and saw Joey and Danya (Grey gagged a little) talking. They looked to be enjoying their conversation. Grey moved over to the window and started looking over the notes for his novel, trying to determine what should happen next.

Kitty walked over and sat next to Grey making sure to get as close to him without touching as possible. She leaned over and looked at what he was reading. Notes? But the school year hasn't even started...Oh, wait! These must be for that novel he was working on! What was it called...I forget. He told me last year, that I can remember...

Grey looked up to see who was next to him and jumped. "H-hi, L-Lydia...What a-are y-y-you doing?" Grey asked flustered. His face turned an even deeper crimson than when Danya (*Shiver*) was talking to a guy he liked. He looked back down, then back up and saw she was looking at his novel notes. He wanted to tell her the secret about his novel, that he's been writing it for her...A depressing romance...But she would probably just think it's creepy...

"Umm, S-so, L-Lydia, w-why did you want to sit next to m-m-m-me?" His hands were shaking like crazy. His face felt really hot. He was sweating, partially from nervousness, partially because of his own body heat. Helooked out the window quickly, hoping Lydia wouldn't notice.

"Danya means 'Divine Justice' in Russian. I lived in Moscow until I was fifteen, Then my mother, my sister and I left for America. Things are so different here, but I like it. I suppose...What're those words?...Every cloud has a silver lining." Danya realised a fraction of a second after saying this that he was explaining his past and therefore obviously Joey didn't know it. "I'd still be in Russia if my parents didn't divorce. It's all because I'm gay, and according to my father 'it's wrong to be gay, it's shameful to have a gay son, it's the mother's fault he's gay." Danya didn't really know why he'd started to open up, but he got the strange feeling that maybe he could. Maybe hiding things around this boy wasn't needed, but it was wise. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be whining to you about it."

Joey looked at him and found himself listen carefully, and actually finding interest in Danya's words. After he was done speaking, Joey looked up at him and then smiled softly.

"No, it's alright. I actually found it quite interesting, which is strange for me..." he started "But your not really whining, see, when someone has problems, they should talk about them, right?"

Joey looked slightly out the window and noticed that they were approaching the school bus loop. When the bus came to a complete stop, Joey got up and put his hand on Danya's shoulder

"Besides, I wouldn't mind listening." he said softly.

Delilah looked back at Joey and Danya right about the time that Joey put his hand on Danya's shoulder. She slowly walked over to Joey and whispered something to him.

"You're such a flirt," she said, jokingly. "There's something called control yourself, buddy."

She then got off the bus and dreaded having to walk through those doors.

Jecht walked through the front doors of the school, squinting at his class schedule. After a couple of minute minute of looking for his class he entered seeing very few people there. He took his seat at the back of the class and waited for the the class to eventually fill up, and for the teacher to show up. Jecht put his booksack on the back of his chair and watched the door, waiting to see who would he be sharing a class with this year.

Dawn.

Dawn had just gotten up. It didn't take her too long to realize that today was the 1st day.

Dawn rushed downstairs after getting ready for school. She checked her watch as she ate breakfast

"I still got an hour...Ha! 1st day of school and I'm already starting out with a clean slate by being early." she said, proud of herself. Her mother was in the kitchen washing dishes. Dawn gripped her cup of soda and then took a sip.

"Dawn, I forgot to let you know, last night, I was trying to set the right time on your watch, but I accidentally set it up an hour late...Then I couldn't find out how to change it back..." her mother said, giggling a little bit in shame.

As soon as Dawn heard this, she spit out her soda and then stood in her seat

"You did what?!?!" she yelled "That means I'm an hour late!"

Dawn didn't wait for anything, she grabbed her stakeboard, and started skating out her house. When she was out, he phone rang. Dawn picked it up

"Honey, are you sure you don't want a ride to school?" said the muffled voice of her mom through the phone

"No, mom...Jeez, knowing our goddamn luck, we'd probably run out of gas and end up having to push the car, or something...." Dawn said as she rid her skateboard on the sidewalk

" oh...that reminds me, I have to fill up the gas tank of my car..." her mother said, very quietly "Oh, well, have a nice day at school, remember to play nice with the other kids!"

"Mom, I'm in high school, not pre-k..."

With that, the conversation ended and Dawn skated the rest of the way to school.

Kensuke woke up with a start to the sound of extremely loud beeping. What day is it today? he thought as he put on his school clothes. Oh yeah its the first day of school.[/] He looked at his class scheduel "So I have high tech science, woot, advanced reading, advanced language, intense math, sucks, and history." He sat at his computer, "might as well skip class and play World of Warcraft." he thought for a moment, " or I could go to school and hang out with my friends." He grabbed his iPod and got on the bus. At school Kensuke saw Joey sitting by a girl, so he walked over and asked Joey who bis friend was and relized she was actually a he. He played Dude that Looks like a Girl by Aerosmith on his iPod and started humming the tune.

OOC: It's alright and by the way it's called Dude looks like a lady. :P

Well that was rude... Delilah thought as she looked over at him without saying anything, after a moment she picked up her bookbag and put it on the back of her seat. After she did this she looked up at the front of the class and started to pay attention to what the teacher, Mrs. Rothell, was saying. But for some reason the guy sitting next to her kept catching her eye.

Hmm, he seems interesting... she thought to herself as she kept trying concentrate on everything that wasn't him. She looked at all the different students in the room that all seemed to have the same tired and bored expression on their face.

School is always like this. she thought.
