This was DL's interpretation on Meteora.

I DID IT

[spoiler=<3]

Song 1, Don't Stay, The protagonist is angry at his parents, for always either ignoring him, or putting him down. He yells at them, but that did him no good, they just crushed his self-esteem as always.

Song 2, Somewhere I Belong, he's lost. He feels he belongs nowhere, but that's all he wants. He's reminded of why he tried so hard to please in the past, he just wanted to be somewhere he was accepted into, somewhere he belonged.

Song 3, Lying from You, he decides, since he can't normally be what they want him to be, then he'll just have to pretend he is, casting aside what he really is. But he can't take this lie, the torture of not being himself, and so wishes to be "forced aside". He wants to take back what he really was, even if it meant he would be shunned by his parents.

Song 4, Hit the Floor, he decides to stop being what they want him to be, and inside, he learns what he really feels about them, about how much he hates the way they act. But he's still not disturbed enough as to tell them face-to-face.

Song 5, Easier to Run, he's sick of everything. It would definitely be easier for him to run away, instead of facing his pain alone. Yet, inside, something clicks. He realized why he tried to pretend to be what he wasn't. He wanted them to accept to, to like him, to praise him when he did something right. So he started to picture himself as the, so to speak, "bad guy". He felt it was his own fault his parents hated him, for all the mistakes he made.

Song 6, Faint, by now, he's mentally disturbed, no doubt. He sticks the thought in his head that he'll get his parents to acknowledge him, no matter what. So he loses it, and basically screams at them that he'll make them stop ignoring him, to acknowledge him, because they're all he has.

Song 7, Figure .09, he's long-since stopped being the person he once was, that would change themselves to make others happy. Now, he's become cold, and uncaring. But then he sees in himself what he saw in his parents, the cold, uncaring, demeanor, and that was what he hated most about them.

Song 8, Breaking the Habit, he decides to go back to how he used to be, because he know right now, the person he is, is wrong.

Song 9, From the Inside, driven almost insane, he decides to do the only thing he can do at this point: he decides to run away from his home, where he clearly was not meant to be. He won't trust himself with his parents, and that's what drives him to run away from home. But he finds that he can't trust outside his home eitherL the only trust person he can trust is himself.

Song 10, Nobody's Listening, he uses all he's learned, all the pain built up, and uses it to boost himself up, to make it possible for him to live on his own. He disliked himself, at this point, and everyone else more. But he soon finds the street life isn't for him. He just can't handle it. So he comes back home.

Song 11, What I've Done, he's sorry that he ran away, extremely so. He still considers it his fault (showing he's back to who he was, a bit) and wishes to wipe the slate clean, start all over.

He says his iTunes messed up, hence why What I've Done is in there and Numb isn't, but everything else makes sense.

I think the chorus for Waiting in the End is really good.

Also, we gotta consider songs like From the Inside and No More Sorrow require a lot of screaming, and after almost a decade of singing songs like that, Chester's voice is probably worn out. That's probably why Minutes to Midnight had so many ballads.

I like any of the LPs, I just wish the new LP could come out with songs like New Divide and The Catalyst more.

......ow.........

Who would be stupid enough to do something like that?

Owait, the person in the vid obviously. <_<

*b!tch slaps Zero*

Those are hilarious (no one likes roasted nuts) and the stuff they get are donations (including the Microwaves) and they are making money off of it.

There are pently of ways to kill me.

The only way you can not kill me is with a trick like "will you die, or sacrifice your friend to live?"

I'd choose to live >.>

That's a good topic:

if you got asked that question, which would you choose? Dying, and saving your friend, or sacrificing your friend to save your own life?
