The Saijin Saga! Pt 1 - Raditz!

 

The day brought promise to Earth as the sky exerted a magnificent light blue upon the world. The forests were calm and peaceful, as were the plains of whoms light grass waved slightly in the breeze of the wind. A young warrior wearing a white vest like shirt and black undershirt with dark blue pants continued to walk down a dusty path, he had a slight smile on his face looking fromside to side at the beautiful open scenery of mountains and plains. He had a unique hair style that didn't seem to move in the breeze much. He seemed to be quite fit to as his body was sculpted with muscle. The back of his shirt spelled in quite big letters "Ryoko"

 

As Ryoko continued to walk along the dusty path looking at a giant map he was holding, he looked at it with confusion.

 

"Huh?" He said to himself studying the map carefully. "It says here Roshi's place should be here. I can't believe I've forgotten where he lived, i spent so much of my life there." Ryoko begins to remeber training with Master Roshi when he was little, he taught him almost everything he knew. Ryoko came to a stand still and looked at the ground, he noticed he was standing about half a metre away from water.

 

"That's right." Ryoko said throwing the map into the air. "His on a small island." Ryoko smiled as he looked out at the ocean blue, in the far distance he saw a house on a small island.

 

"There it is!" Ryoko thought as he suddenly hovered abit abve the ground then persued hovering over the water at a rapid speed. "Roshi here i come!"

Maharu was flying through the air, and over a vast ocean. Her eye's were closed, her hands were behind her head, and her back was facing the ocean. Basically she was laying on her back while in the air. A couple of days ago her parents told her to set out to Master Roshi's house for some training. They said they knew him and he had agreed to see what she could do, and if he was impressed he'd give her some extra training. "I hope this guy is as good as my parents boasted he was....He's probably some old guy. Besides who on earth lives in the middle of the ocean?...Well apparently this guy doesn." Maharu answered herself. Her yellow strapped t-shirt was slightly flapping in the breeze, as she used her right hand to scratch her blue jeaned covered legs.

 

Maharu turned onto her side using her hand to hokd her head up. She smiled looking at her reflection in the water, and let her hand skim across the surface of the ocean. "Either way...I'm going to show this Master Roshi everything that I've got."

 

Ooc: Are we supposed to be going to Master Roshi's place? Cause that's where the Ratiz series started....Is it going to be the same?

OOC: Basically yea, i'd like to follow the process that happens in DBZ but slightly different. EG: I'm willing to have my character die against raditz. What i'm thinking is that everyone get's a turn as being "Goku", or what Goku represents, so that the RP isn't just focusing on 1 person...If that makes sense, i'm open to ideas however.

 

Ryoko continued to fly over the sea watching the various creatures of the ocean as they scurried in the water. Ryoko began tot hink to himself.

 

"It's been so long since i've seen Roshi, i mean we trained for a full 2 years...but what if he doesn't remember me?" Ryoko begqan to think back to his parents (of earth) funeral. "Their dying wish was for me to to train and defend the earth so nothing would harm it. I'll take this wish to my grave, no one will harm the delecacy of earth while i'm around!"

 

Ryoko began to look forward and saw the island getting closer and closer. On it was a pink house and a turtle on the shore of the beach, Ryoko landed on the shore scaring the turtle slightly.

"Hey calm down there." Ryoko said with a cheerful tone. "Is Roshi he-"

 

"Kamehameha!" Called a voice from the house, suddenly a small blue wave heade for Ryoko who just managed to move tot he side, dodging it. He watched as the beam flew over the ocean.

 

"That voice." Ryoko said to himself. "No doubt that's Roshi." Suddenly Roshi appeared from the house ina fighting stance.

 

"Who are ya?! What do you want!!??" Roshi called out.

 

"Relax Old man, it's me Ryoko."

 

"I don't know a Ryoko!"

 

"Oh thats right." Roshi always called Ryoko by his earth name. "It's me Matt."

"KOMEHOMEHE!" You could hear this scream from a mile away, as Meshi launched his Komehomehe. It made a huge hole through the center of a tree. "Heh, looks like I'm getting better." He said, smiling. He prepared his Big Bang Cannon, but something caught his eye. A small sea turtle, it looked like it didn't belong there. It seemed to be making a sound, like it was whimpering. "A sea turtle... No doubt, it's the son of Roshi's Turtle.... Didn't know I got that far off track!" Meshi thought. He grabbed the turtle, and began flying over the sea, trying to find Kame House. "HELLO! IS THERE A MISTER ROSHI OUT HERE? HELLO?"

As Maharu was drawing nearer towards the small island she felt a strong discharge of energy. She stopped and just hovered over the water. "I wonder if that was Master Roshi's energy." Suddenly a large grin found her face. "If that is then my old man was right! He really is someone who could train me!" With that in mind she went full speed towards where she felt the large energy. It wasn't that long before she was able to see the small island in the middle of the ocean, a small pink house with the words 'Kami' written on it in red. Upon a closer inspection she also sensed two people there...."Huh? Two people?....Maybe he doesn't live there alone....Guess there's only one way to find out." Maharu fixked the yellow bagk the was on her back, before she sped for the island and landed behind the house. Because she was behind the house she hadn't seen Master Roshi or Ryoko on the other side. "Hello!?...Hello!? Master Roshi! It's me Maharu!"

 

She paused and looked inside of the window. "My dad sent a letter to you a couple of days ago!" Maharu put her hands on her hips. "Maybe I could walk to the front of the house..." She mumbled and started walking around the island and to the front door.

As Meshi kept flying, it seemed the Sea Turtle was pointing it's head in different directions. He said "Might as well..." And began going in the directions it was pointing at. After a while, Meshi was right over Kame's House. "Hmm.... I sense three energies. One is Master Roshis, I know it, but the others are something I haven't seen before." He thought. He went onto the beach, and walked up to Master Roshi, placing Turtle's Son next to his father. "Hello there, Mister Roshi! I found the son of your sea turtle a few miles away from here!"

Ryoko noticed Master Roshi coming to his senses as he thought hard while patting his chin. Ryoko was surprised that even at his age, he was still able to pull off a successful kamahameha wave.

 

"Oh yes Ryoko!" Master Roshi concluded in confidence. "Why didn't you say so?"

 

Ryoko sighed. "It's been along time Master." Both Master Roshi and Ryoko turned as they heard a voice coming from behind the house, the voice brought Roshi to a sudden realisation.

 

"Oh! Did i tell you you weren't the only one coming here?" Master Roshi asked the now confused Ryoko. He seemed to be quite forgetful at his age even if he could pull off a strong beam attack.

 

Ryoko shook his head. "No i just got here remember? Who else is coming?" Master Roshi began to walk behind the house.

 

More powerful fighters, i can't be the trainer of 1 person you know!" Roshi snapped in sudden frustration.

 

Just as Roshi told Ryoko this a figure landed on the island with a turle.

 

" Oh yes, what coincidence he turned up out there... Welcome Meshi Ryoko Meshi Meshi Ryoko."

 

Ryoko smiled and nodded once as if to say hi.

 

"Ryoko began to think about why Roshi would bring more than 1 person to train, could it really be that he wanted to train more then 1 person? or is it that he believed that Earth needed a group of strong fighters? Ryoko waited patiently as Master Roshi began to walk over to the back of the building, the thought of who else was coming didn't bother him much as he was there for his own gain. Ryoko turned and looked out at the ocean.

Maharu was only halfway around the island when two people was in her line of sight. One of them, who was really old looking, she assumed to be master Roshi, but the other she had never seen before. "Um, hey there Master Roshi. I'm Maharu Kazuya, Sano's kid. He told me that you had agreed to train me." She said rubbing the back of her neck. Maharu was feeling a bit awkward, and she somehow felt like she was back at her first day of school, and she had to introduce herself. Let's just hope this goes much smoother. She thought to herself. The guy behind Master Roshi looked to be about the same age as her but she didn't recognize him from her school. Not only that but his energy felt similar to hers. Who is he?...Is Master Roshi training him as well? Not only that but there's a third person here too, but that one feels human...Exactly how many people are on this island? Maharu asked herself while twirling a lock of her hair in nervousness.

OOC: Remember at this point in the saga, they couldnt sense power levels unless they had a saijin scanner it's okay though we'll ignore that. I fixed the post so he says hi to meshi as well.

 

Ryoko didn't hesitate to much at the signs of the new figures, he simply introduced himself, although a little nervous through mildly sensing their energies.

 

"Hey I'm Ryoko." Ryoko then payed close attention to the women that was there, her energy seemed to be similar to his for some reason. "Could she be a saijin to?" He thought to himself as he began to ponder over the other figure. "His an earthling, no doubt, but his power is exceptional for that of the common earthling."

 

"Hey Master Roshi so why are we all here? Do you really intend to train all of us at your age?" Ryoko asked as he began to sense thre growing frustration being exerted from Roshi.

 

"Don't question my age!!!" Roshi then turned his attention to Maharu. "Yes i did ask you to come here, you know me and Sano you'sed to be good friends, through training." Roshi began to picture days where he was in his early 20's where he and another man sat on the beach looking at girls running around in bikinis. "Those were the days..."

 

Roshi didn't say anything for a while still living in his past remembrences which brought a little confusion into the air.

 

"Ahh...So Master Roshi, when do we begin our training?" Ryoko questioned in anticipation.

 

Roshi shook his head and looked at the 3 warriors facing him. "We'll start your training soon." "Roshi then began to walk in the house.

 

Ryoko sighed.

 

"Little do they know the real reason they're here..." Roshi thought to himself.

Meshi smiled. "Hey, hey Mister Roshi. I want to show you a move I based on your Kamehameha!" He said gleefully.

Roshi stoped and turned when he heard Meshi talk. "Alright then let's see what you can do. Don't cause any damage to my house though." Ryoko folded his arms ready to see what move the new figure could master. Roshi seemed quite intent on what thew move would be, what could possibly be similar to the kamehameha wave? he thought to himself. The sky was still a calm and peaceful blue, it had brought hope to earth in a way. The sun shonme brightly over the island as Meshi looked prepared to make his move. Ryoko still waited in anticipation of what it may be.

Ryoko remembered times when he was young and training with Master Roshi that he tried to teach Ryoko the kamehameha wave although he could never quite master it at his young age, he hadn't tred it ina while so maybe seeing a demonstration again would help him better master the famous technique.

"Alright..." Meshi said, looking out at the ocean, holding his arms out. "Komehome..." He said, and a red ball of energy gathered in his hands. "HE!" He yelled, and his Komehomehe launched across the sea. "Yeeeah!"

Master Roashi watched on as the red beam cause a light breeze to form aroudn the area slightly lighting it up. He watched on as the beam saild just above the water causing it to seperate at the top. When it stopped Roshi replied with. "Impressive, that's alot of energy you have there, but. How long can you keep that much power is the real question, I could tell you expended alot with that wave, didn't you, Go on try again but this time sustain it for longer."

 

Ryoko was in slight disbelief as to how similar the beam was tot he original famous kamehameha wave. He however didn't show this as he didn't want anyone tot hink he was intimidated. He continued to watch on anticipating the next beam to come, this one would be much harder and cause a lot of strain on the boys body. Ryoko saw Maharu watching on as well, he wondered. "If she's a saijin to...then how did she wind up on earth? And this earthling, his not likethe common man, his able to use energy and ki, he must be one of the few in the world like Roshi."

 

Ryoko smiled. "Impressive."

Maharu was watching the display of the modified Kamehameha with interest. It was interesting to see how a human could posses that muc energy. "That's pretty cool. And you made that up yourself." She said speaking up after being silent for a while. She then turned to face Ryoko. "I don't mean to be rude or anything...But I ant help but notice tha...Well..." Maharu sighed, "Im just gonna say it...Are you a sayain?"

Ryoko was a bit hesitant to answer he had tried to convince himself he was a common human, but really at the end of the day at heart he will always be a saijin, he replied with a smile. "Yes, from planet Vegeta, i was sent to earth prior to the planet's deestructiuon, I could sense your power, you're a saijin to...right? I'm Ryoko by the way."

Meshi smiled. "After this, I hope you wouldn't mind me showing you one of my other moves..." Meshi said, smiling. He launched his Komehomehe without saying anything this time , and kept at it for 5 seconds. "Y-Y-Yeah..." He said, exhausted. He fell to the ground. "Ow..."

Roshi looked on quite surprised thinking to himself. "Maybe i pushed him a little hard..." Roshi turned and continued to walk into his house, before he walked in however he stopped and turned, You all will be training with me, Prepare yourself i'm going to go get ready, when i come back out it'll be 3 vs 1. Roshi walked into the house.

 

"We're going to be fighting the great Roshi..." Ryoko thought to himself getting extremly excited. As Roshi walked in they could see himt hrough the large window of the house grab a beer and sit on the couch watching womens excercise shows.

 

Ryoko stood puzzled and sighed. He looked briefly at his 2 companions for the up coming fight, he walked over to the lying Meshi and asked. "Need a hand?" lifting his arm out to help him up.

Meshi took Ryoko's outstretched hand, getting up, scratching his back. "You know, this fight might give me a chance to try my new finishing move! Four-Score!" He said eagerly.

Maharu wondered why Kyoko hesitated in answering her. But she was more shocked by the fact that he was a Sayain. It was always her belief that she was the only sayain here because of what her parents said happened to Planet Vageta. Only after her intese thought process did she realize what Ryoko had asked her. "Oh, sorry. But yeah I am a sayain as well. Vut I lived on earth my entire life. I've never seen Planet Vageta, but my parents have." She smiled looking at the two boys. "Just in ase you hadn't heard, my name is Mahary Kazuya an 18 year old high school senior on break."

Meshi smiled. "Meshi, 15, Middle School Student." He said smiling. His mind was still processing a bit, but he stumbled back a bit when he hear the two people in front of him were Saiyajins. "Wait a minute, you mean that alien race? I heard about them!" Meshi said, with a bit of a "Oh Crap" look on his face. He then lit up with excitement. "Awesome! I'm friends with aliens! It's every teenagers wet dream!" He said, smiling, but suddenly getting a serious tone to his voice.

 

"So, I say we start training for Master Rosh'!" Meshi said, doing push-ups.

Ryoko smiled at the 2 new companions and said. "That's a good idea, if i know roshi he always saved some kind of tgransformation for intense battles, although i never saw it. We might have to expect that."

Ryoko then looked at Maharu. "I've never seen planet Vegeta either..well only for brief second anyway...I've tried to put the fact that I'm a saijin in the back of my mind, i just really wanted to believe i was human...you know? And i mean hearing what the saijins used to do, didn't make me proud to be a saijin." Ryoko walked to the shore of the beach. "Alright, I might start warming up now, Master Roshi wont be an easy opponent." Ryoko then began to focus. "What could Roshi be planning by having this fight?" He thought to himself as he slowly punched the air, focusing his power into his punches.

"I hear when Master Rosh transforms he gets big muscles. I think he had to use it once when this guy named Ox King's house was on fire." Meshi stood up, sweating a bit after doing about 100 push-ups. "''Hey, I've always wanted to see this Planet Vegeta. I hear they have devices that detect power levels. And that they crush those devices when the power level hits 9001 or higher." Meshi said, now practicing his ki.

Roshi sneakily looked out the window and watched the 3 training, he saw that all the participants are willing to give it their all and smirked with confidence. "They have a longroad ahead and to think it starts with them facing off with me. I can't take it easy on them i have to give it my all!" Roshi began to stretch but felt a crack in his back. "Oh! There goes my back again, maybe i'll just start a little easier." Roshi sat down and continued to watch the TV.

 

Ryoko lay on top of the water doing sit ups, his body wasn't sinking into the water which took alot of effort on his part. Ryoko then stood up and alked to the shore doing stretches. "Yea that's better." He thought to himself as he continued to stretch waiting patiently for roshi to come out.

Maharu put her stuff down and began doing some light stretching. She figured that she'd start with her regular rutine and then add whatever she feels like later. Once her stretches were over with Maharu started running laps around the island. From the size of the island 100 laps would be equal to the run around the park. The whole time she ran full speed not once slowing down. In only Ten minutes she was finished. "I guess I should start adding somemore lap. Now for push ups...." That was her least favorite thing to do but she hated doing weights even more, and she needed upper body strength. Her push-ups were a variation of different kinds. First regular, then wide are, then diamonds, followed up by one-handed pushups. Her set was finished after doing 25 one-handed virtical push ups. "Ugh....my arms..."
