Yugioh! Duel academy a new beginning(started/accepting)

Hunter looked around to see a Slifer girl. Isabella seemed to know her, but he didnt. He approached her anyway. "Hey, do you happen to know a kid named Josh?" said Hunter.

 

"Whats wrong with Josh Hunter? Hes just a kid." said Isabella. She looked at her watch. Class didnt start now.

 

"Well, hes a kid who was controlled by the Wicked God and when I dueled him he acted as if he was under control of something. Ill be right back." said Hunter, getting on his Duel Runner and rode it.

 

"Whats his problem?" asked Isabella, staring at Hunter riding away.

 

Meanwhile...

 

"...Im outta here..." said Lucas as he left the office. He held up his Shadow deck. There was a tournament coming... That could be useful...

Josh heard the sound of a duel runner in the distance and wondered if it was coming toward him. He didnt feel like looking out the window so he stayed sitting down examiniing his cards for combos. When he felt like it was just too much to keep staring at his cards he left them there and went to go lay down on his bed. When he layed down he listened to the sound of the duel runner and tried to asses if it was coming closer. While he was doing that the humming slowly put him to sleep and he started to take a nap.

Hunter rode on his duel runner and stopped at Joshs dorm, went in, and spotted Josh sleeping in his room. There was nothing strange about that... He decided to buy some new cards at the card shop. He got on his duel runner outside, rode to the card shop and quietly walked inside, and saw a poster. There was a tournament coming up.He had just gotten here to see a kid who he thought was named Jean-Luc win his duel in a tournament and the rest was history. Now it was starting over, and it was a one person only duel. He decided to stop looking and bought some new cards. He bought three packs and looked through them. He didnt see anything interesting in the first two, but he did find a cool card. He looked at it closer. He saw:

 

Firestorm Volcano

Spell/Field

You can destroy a "Firestorm" monster on either side of the field to inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent.

 

This was what he needed. He got on his duel runner and rode off. He drove to class.

Sara was too preoccupied to answer however. "Who's Josh?" she asked Isabella curiously. In all the commotion of the past week she had never spotted anyone by that name. And the way that that Hunter said his name gave the impression of deep competitiveness.

A bell suddenly resounded throughout the school. It was the second bell for classes. Anyone caught in the corridors after this received detention. "Isabella, we have to go... And quickly..."

Ryan got to his class when the second bell rang. He saw some empty seats. If they werent back, they would get detention!

 

"What? Oh yeah, lets go now." said Isabella, completly forgetting class. She started to run to class with Sara. They finally reached there classroom and they walked in. This teacher was so boring she might as well not even be here.

 

Nathan noticed the bell. "Oh! I completly forgot. Sorry Proffesor Shine, I gotta go!" said Nathan, and ran out of his office and got to his class. Sighing, he sat down in his seat.

 

Class...He didnt even need to go, but he did anyway so he didnt get noticed. He disappeared into the shadows and reappeared in the nearest bathroom. He started to head to class and saw a bunch of kids rushing.

 

The teacher droned on and on about dueling history. She soon put her head on her desk and started to fall asleep. She hadnt even noticed that she fell asleep. She woke up to the sound of yelling.

 

"Mrs Princeton!" said the teacher.

 

"What? Oh!" said Isabella, getting up and looking at her teacher.

 

"This is your last warning. If you put one toe out of line, i will be giving detention!" said the Teacher.

 

"Yes teacher..." said Isabella, looking into her cold, mean eyes. One wrong move and she would explode.

Josh heard the bell and it woke him up. He tried to rememer which class he had now. "Dueling history." Josh muttered to himself as he remembered. THe teacher for that class hated him and he didnt see how history would help him win the tournament that was coming up. But he decided that since it was class time he might as well learn too so he sat at his desk in his dorm and started looking for combos in his deck again and realized that the duel runner noise had stopped, so he didnt have to worry about falling asleep on his cards.

Sara shot the history teacher a filthy stare. The way he spoke to Isabella was entirely unnecessary. Was the only decent teacher in this entire, twisted school the Chancellor himself? Soon after, however, her mind drifted back to the Wicked Black students playing by the Ante rule, taking students' rarest cards. This was a situation that had to be dealt with... and quickly. Who would be able to help though? Sara would ask Isabella... maybe Ryan and Nathan... Unfortunately, beyond that she knew very few students at this school. Maybe Dioxyn, being the top student at the Academy and a Judgment White would help them also. That was an extremely long shot however.

 

A few minutes later the bell rang signalling the start of the lunch break. Sara turned to Isabella. "Hey, I have something to ask you..." She then spent the next twenty minutes relaying what happened earlier that day.

Josh woke up and realized it was lunch he walked down to the cafeteria and ordered some orange chicken with white rice because he felt like chinese food today. He took his food and sat down at a table. He thought about what his next class was and then perked up when he remembered that it was dueling stratagy and that that would help him in the tournament. He started to eat his lunch faster because he wanted to go to class early. He then got a little bit angry he had to go to class on time and started mutterming to himself about how he never does that.

[Fader]

Shine stepped over towards the school intercom. "Attention everybody class will be canceled for the week!" Shine chuckled in the intercom. " I am sorry about the last tournament but we will start a new singles tournament! Lineups will be announced in the future!" Shine looked back at the door as a rugged and rough looking employee steped in.

 

"Sir the underwater tunnel leading to the island has been detected a biker gang on duel runners and one of which is large and glowing purple."

 

Shine looked over at him. "Send in some staff to duel them and the purple guy shpuld be questioned on how the hell he is glowing!"

 

Vio had saw the rugged man walk in but Bumped into Dioxyn. They stared at each other and walked on.

Attention everybody class will be canceled for the week!" Shine chuckled in the intercom. "I am sorry about the last tournament but we will start a new singles tournament! Lineups will be announced in the future!"

 

Sara almost whooped with glee at the prospect of duels that were simply for fun. She said goodbye to Isabella and jogged all the way to the card shop. Despite how quickly she managed to get there, an almighty crowd had already grown due to the excitement for the tournament. Taking no prisoners, Sara practically threw herself to the front holding a couple of Machine and Warrior packs.

 

"That's 2000 DP." Dorothy said.

 

Sara exchanged the school currency and was back at the Slifer dormitories within ten minutes. She tore open the packs excitedly but was disappointed to find all the monsters had fewer than 1500 attack points. But after a minute of looking, she began to see a hidden synergy within these cards. "This'll be an interesting experiment," she thought as she proceeded to build a new deck.

And then they just run off???" said Isabella[, hearing the news from Sara. Why would they do that, picking on some kid and taking his best card? It was completly ubsurd, it was crazy. But then, two boys just sat down. They were Ryan and Nathan.

 

"Hey girls, whats up?" asked Ryan Terra, sitting down.[/color

 

"What happened?" said Nathan, looking at there faces.

 

"Ill tell you what, Sara just dueled two idiots who were using the Ante rule!" said Isabella, thinking. Why would they do such a thing? They could be suspened, expelled, anthing bad could have happened to them.

 

"What!!! The Ante Rule! Thats against the rules of the school! When I find those kids......" said Nathan. He was appaled. He started to say some more, but then, he heard an announcement. There was going to be a single person tournament. Interesting, but those kids better not use that Ante Rule again or he would beat the crap out of them.

 

"Sara, where are you going?" said Isabella, as Sara had ran off.

 

Meanwhile...

 

Lucas had been dueling a Ra Yellow student outside the Slifer dorm.He had attacked him directly with his Knight of the Shadows and he ran away. Sighing, he heard the announcement. He smirked

Josh heard the announcement that the one time he was going to go to class they blew him off. It just wasnt right, but he figured he might as well spend the last of his dp on some cards for the tournament. He bought some and found a card that was rare and he only had one of that he could put in his deck. He found some other cards and decided to give his deck an update. ((OOC: Ill post his new deck later))

[Fader]

Sine got back on the intercom. "Nathan to the chancellor's office. Nathan to the chancellor's office." Shine seemed content. "If anything wrong happens again we will need some hall monitors and he seems fit for the job."

Vio listened in. "Hall monitors?"

Nicole woke up and walked out. "What happened?"

Dioxyn was in the halls listening to the announcement. "Hmph."

"Nathan to the Chancellors office. Nathan to the chancellors office" said Proffesor Shine.

 

"What did you do now? Steal all the booster packs in the school?" asked Ryan. But then another announcement came.

 

"If anything wrong happens again we will need some hall monitors and he seems fit for the job." said Professor Shine again.

 

He had been prepared for something, but he didnt really expect THAT. He thought he was in trouble or something. Although, he could miss class as lunch was almost over. "See ya Ryan, Isabella..." said Nathan, walking out of the cafeteria. Nathan walked all the way to Shines office. He stood at the door of Shines office and opened the door. "You wanted to see me Proffesor Shine?" asked Nathan.

 

Meanwhile...

 

Lucas heard the announcement. He thought that Nathan could stop it. It was crazy, he wondered why he thought that. Of course he wasnt complaning, this didnt stop him. He wandered around the school.

[Fader]

"Why yes Nathan come take a seat." Shine brushed his hair which resembled his father's out of his face. "So after the weird things that went down I need a responsible student to back up the staff and manage the halls and you seem to be responsible." Shine pulled out a prefect uniform and a badge resembling all the dorm colors. "Try this on. There is a changing room right over there." Shine pointed to Nathan's right. "Take as much time as you like." Shine smirked. "If you are wondering whats in it for you then I will be more than happy to give you a list." Shine handed him a list.

He read over the list. All he had to do was help he staff and manage the halls, and he could get free Lunch and Dinner, free Booster Packs, and you can skip class! He was definatly going to accept his offer. "Thank you Proffesor Shine. I will promise that I will not let you down!" said Nathan, and he went into the changing room. He put on his new uniform. It felt perfect. The badge was also cool. He got out of the changing room, in his new uniform. "I like it! Now will there be anywone else who will be a prefect? It may be hard to do this all by myself." said Nathan. He had a lot of Ideas on who could work with him.

 

The lunch ended, and Ryan and Isabella walked out of the cafeteria together. She wondered how Nicole was doing, so she said goodbye to Ryan and headed to the Nurses Office. There, she saw Nicole, outside the nurses office and alll ready to go. "Nicole, are you okay?" asked Isabella.

 

Hunter Brodie heard the announcement, then left lunch, as he had had class and ate lunch. He walked in the halls and noticed Dioxyn. "Uhh....hello?" said Hunter, as he knew that Dioxyn was the best duelist at Duel Academy.

Josh was inside his cabin thinking about different combos for his deck and realized that his class would really help him right now, so he went inside the building to search for his teacher. He saw his teacher coming out of his office "Hey, teach, I need to get some help in my deck in the tournament, could you help me?"

 

"Sorry but im not allowed to help students for the tournament but you can use your notes from class if you want." his teacher said cheerfully.

 

Josh said thank you to his teacher and felt really bad that he always skipped class and didnt have any notes. He went to the cafeteria to ask someone to borrow notes. He walked over to the a bunch of people from the other night who were walking out of the capeteria. "Hey can I borrow anybody's notes from the dueling strategy class?" he asked hopefully.

"And... finished!" Sara said proudly. Her new deck was a showcase to the true potential of what Synchro Summoning could accomplish. Getting up, she clipped a fourth deck holder to the belt she always wore and placed it in the front slot. If she was going to have any chance in going far in this new singles tournament she would have to find someone to test it on. Her friends could wait until the tournament... but maybe the Wicked Black students who were stealing peoples' cards would make adequate cannon fodder. She was heading off to search round the school when she ran headlong into Dioxyn and a bulky, dark-skinned student who appeared to be a relative of Axel Brodie. "Alright Dioxyn? And you are..?"

"Im Hunter. Hunter Brodie." said Hunter to the girl. "You participating in the tournament?" asked Hunter, noticing the deck that she seemed proud of. He knew Dioxyn was going to be in the tournament to. It was pretty obvious. He wondered if he should arrange his own deck? Or perhaps a deck to counter someone elses? "Anyway, whos in the first match?" he asked Dioxyn or Sara.

 

Ryan was walking out of the cafeteria when Josh came up asking for notes. Typical, as he never came to class. His notes were full of stuff anout Rocks, so he doubted that it could help Josh. He walked back to the Obselix Blue dorm. It was nice, but he thought that he should be promoted or something. He laid on his bed and thought about winning the tournament with Exodia. But he would have to beat all those guys like Haruki and Dioxyn. That would be tough, so he needed to get practicing. What would be good in a Exodia deck?

Sara smiled to herself... She had been right. "I thought you looked like one of the Brodie family," she said, "And yes, I built a new deck for this tournament. But I don't want anyone knowing what's in it until we're squaring off in the arena. And as for the first match..." She shrugged, "I'm clueless. But right now I need an opponent who isn't in the tournament to test this on, so later boys." She winked playfully and skipped away.

 

The halls seemed to be devoid of anyone wearing a black jacket. "Ashamed to show their faces after siding with a losing God?" Sara sneered at an invisible Wicked Black student. At any rate, the chances of her finding an opponent seemed to be rapidly nearing zero...

OOC:When will there be changing dorms?

 

IC: Isabella left the door of the nurses office and into the hallways. People were staring at here and sneering for some reason. She lookded around and noticed that she was the only Wicked Black in the halls. Apparently, they were sneering because the god lost and the blacks had sided with him. Well she couldnnt have that. She decided that she may need a promotion to Judgement White. She turned around and started to look for a teacher to ask about promotions.

 

Meanwhile...

 

Lucas walked in the hallways. A group of Judgement Whites were sneering at him, but when he gave them a scary look, people stopped sneering. He kept on walking. He wasnt participating in the tournament because that would cause people to notice him. He had to avoid certain students who may reconize him and his deck, like Ryan, Sara, Isabella, Josh, perhaps Avelino, and a few others who saw him duel and he wondered about Sachiko. He didnt notice that he almot walked right into Sara. Uh oh! But she looked like she wanted to duel someone not in the tournament. He didnt nead to read his mind, because it was clear that that was what she wanted. "Er...hello..." said Luca, making sure he wasnt talking with his real voice to Sara.

Sara ran headlong into a new figure. He appeared vaguely familiar but Sara dismissed it immediately as deja vu. "Hi," she said brightly and kindly, "Seen any Wicked Blacks around? I'm looking for some butts to kick in a duel when I test a new deck." She was still really fired up and spoiling desperately for a fight. "Those clowns are not going to get away with stealing cards!" she suddenly shouted. Immediately afterward she felt sheepish, "Sorry... I'm just a little hot-headed at times." She then noticed the expression on the boy's face. "Hey, you OK? You look like you've seen a ghost..."

Seeing as no one answered him Josh assumed he couldn't borrow anyone's notes. He was kind of bummed so he went back to his cabin without doing anything else. He decided that his improved deck was pretty decent and it deserved to be tried out. He decided that he didnt want to duel the stupid computer again because it was boring and easy to win against. He decided that he would do his training excersise that he invented when he was a kid, you draw your six cards and you make whatever your first turn would be. You get more used to a deck that way and you got to see if it was any good. He tried it out a couple of times and it seemed to be handling better than his deck before that so he decided to keep it this way for the tournament. After a while of doing that drill he started to wonder when he would be able to promote to a higher rank.

"...I guess I just saw something. Its nothing." said Lucas, immediatly changing his look on his face to bright and happy. "Well, im not participating in the tournament, and im a Wicked Black, even though my uniform doesnt show it." said Lucas. He wanted to see some of the best duelists at the school. And the oppertunity was right in his face. "If you want, we could duel. Although you will probably cream me in a turn or two...It would still be.....fun!" said Lucas falsely. He stuttered on that last word, and he had an excuse for his deck made up to. He activated his duel disk. He waited for her answer, hoping that she didnt think he was a complete idiot because that was an act, and he seemed to be doing a good job.

 

Meanwhile...

 

Isabella had been walking with her school stuff. She asked a teacher and unfortunetly, it was the same one that almost kicked her out. She yelled that even if she would move dorms, it would be going down, not up. Scowling, she walked outside the cafeteria. Josh was asking to borrow notes, then started to leave. She feeled sorry for him, so she ran to him. "Josh! Over here! I know you dont go to class at all, and I feel sorry for you, so here are some of my notes." said Isabella, handing him a small portain of her notes. "Just remember to go to class okay?" said Isabella, as Josh walked away.

Josh looked at Isabella and then at the notes, then back at Isabella. "Thanks!" he told her as she walked away "And I guess I will come to class more often." He went back inside his dorm and looked at the notes he then started to see different strategies he could use within his deck and how they would make his deck better. Mabye class isnt so bad after all, but then he remembered the other classes like history and puzzles. He made a little note to himself to only go to strategy and use the rest of the time to duel and up his deck. But then he started thinking about promotions again and that they probably wouldnt promote him if he didnt go to class, so he figured then would be nap time. He started adjusting his deck and testing it and adjusting it again, letting the day fly by.
