Chancellor shine walked out of his office. Welcome to DUEL ACADEMY! In celebration we will have our first duel! Loki vs Akio! Both report to the duel arena!

Akio walked towards his side of the dueling stage. It looks like I'm dueling against one of the high dorms. This is going to be tough. Let's see...what should I use? Akio thought for a deck to use and realized he only brought one. Well...Gluttony it is. Don't fail me now! Akio put his deck into his duel disk and smiled. "Good luck." Though the good luck didn't seem to have much enthusiasm behind it. He stayed standing up, watching the gathered people. He began to count them off in his head.

Loki walked to the arena, he wasn't to worried about the duel seeing as his opponent was a Ra yellow, not only that but he was notoriously lazy at that and it wouldn't be to hard to bring out some pain with his current deck. As he walked into the arena he noticed people were watching so he decided to would be smarted not to show to much of his deck just in case, he stretched as he reached his designated area and placed his Deck into his Duel Disk and was ready to duel, he wished that he could have dueled one of those white weirdos but a lazy Ra would have to do.

Akio drew his openning hand of five cards. "I guess I'm taking the first move...greaaaat." He drew an additional card for his draw phase requirement, then observed his hand. "I'll start by setting a card. I'm also going to go ahead and throw out D.D. Assailant in attack mode. Your move." The holograms portrayed a man weilding a giant sword kneeling infront of a face down card in the spell/trap zone.

Loki saw his opponents move and drew his sixth card, he smirked looking at his hand, First I'll summon my Dimensions Dragon, next I'll send 1 card in my hand to the graveyard in order to summon The Tricky from my hand and the card I sent to the graveyard was my Tricky Spell 2, and with it in the graveyard I can return it and 1 Spell or Trap you control to our respective decks, now I'll have my Dimensions Dragon attack your monster, and follow up with my The Tricky. After the 2 monsters clashed they were both destroyed but as Loki's monster was removed from play it was returned to his side of the field in defense position, You must be confused so I'll explain when Dimensions Dragon is removed from play I get to special summon him onto my side of the field in defense mode, I'll set two cards and end my turn.

Loki looked at his hand and was interested in his opponents move, to not play any monsters could mean he had some tough traps or he had no move he could make, Loki didn't want to show to much of his style so he decided to go in it easily so he wouldn't show his style, First I'll switch my dragon back to attack mode then I'll have my The Tricky attack you directly. Loki was wondering what kind of move his opponent would bring out but it would hopefully be something interesting because if the duel was over then Loki would be boring.

"I'll use Mirror Force." Akio just blinked after flipping face up one of the most annoying traps in duel monsters. The trap card created a giant mirror. Once The Tricky attacked the mirror, the mirror would rebound the attack and destroy his monsters. 100 points for Dark bribe...200 points for trap jammer...300 points for a tricky card...400 points for some card I've never heard of. Akio was playing a mental game with himself. Whenever he activated a trap card, he would try and bet what card the opponent would use to counter it.

As your Mirror activated destroying his card Loki simply smirked as his monsters were destroyed, he simply looked at his hand and set one card, Looks like you've kept yourself in the game, but does that mean you'll get to stay in it. Loki wasn't surprised at how he had been countered, it wasn't unexpected with what his opponent had played for their to be something behind it but Loki had a trap of his own and he was ready to use it. I guess all I can do now is end my turn.

OOC: Its time for some seriousness. Lessee if I can "not play a card" for four lines =P

 

Akio drew a card and stared at it. He sighed. What a bummer, this card isn't going to help at all anymore. I can't believe this, I can't do anything. Well, I could do something, but its kind of useless. I haven't passed the ten turn to surrender limit, and I'm really getting bored with this duel. After a few seconds, Akio added Note to self: Remove Gluttony deck. Akio continued to stare at the card he drew. If he wanted to, he could just get rid of his own lifepoints right now. He didn't have to put up a show. Then again, that'd probably get him demoted.

Akio decided what he'd do. "I activate my face down card, Giant Trunade!" The face down card he had would be returned to his hand. "Now I set one card face down and summon D.D. Warrior Lady. Direct attack!"

Loki just sat there and took your monsters directly attacked him, he smirked a little then looked his opponent in the eye, Loki hadn't expected that oddly perfect card at the moment seeing as if his opponent hadn't done that he could have won the duel. This is getting boring so looks like your finally getting serious or are you just getting bored with a good hand, depending on his next draw Loki could win this duel but it was starting to drag on and he wanted to end it as soon as possible.

Proffesor Shine got on the intercom, there has been a sudden change in plans!

The winner of this duel will receive a rare card.

Proffesor Shine sat back down and watched the duel.

Hmmm this is fun to watch.

Ryan Terra watched the two duelist duel. It seemed as though one of them was using D.D. and he couldnt tell about the other one. He could also tell that these uniforms were way to formal. Blue wasnt his color, it was brown, but his uniform could be worse. He saw white uniforms somewhere in the school. Those looked to spiffy and neat. You couldnt have everything in life, like the scar on his head that he wanted gone. Anyway, this opening duel was a bit time consuming. He wanted to ride on his Duel Runner, the breeze of the wind flowing through his hair, dueling, but this was good enough. "I wonder who Ill first duel..." he thought out loud. Maybe he would duel one of those Whites, but they must be tough duelists. He started to watch the duel again. He also wondered what that card was.

"Actually, I think I am," Akio said, "Not because of the rare card. You're a good duelist, no doubt about it. I haven't had a good duel in a long time." Akio wondered if he could do anything else this turn. "Hm, why not. I'll set one card face down. That'll do it for my turn." Take the reigns, Loki. If I lose this duel I won't get challenged left and right by every wandering duelist. Akio smiled at Loki, he had no idea he was in for this much of a duel. He expected to be thrashes. It was as if the love for dueling reawakened within him.

Loki drew his card and looked at it for a second, First I'll summon my The Tricky Hound, then I'll set four cards and end my turn, but before you draw I'll activate my Face Down Call of the Haunted to summon back my The Tricky, next I'll activate my Face Down Ring of Destruction and Ring of Protection so now only you will take the damage and if my math is right that should also be the last of them, and what do you know that makes it a perfect zero. Loki had brought back his The Tricky only to set it to blow all during his opponents Standby Phase he had a confident look on his as if he had something else prepared as well.

Alright Akio, think, do you really want to win this duel? Well I mightaswell prolongue it a bit. "I chain your Ring of Protection with Dark Bribe, negating it! Next I use Rush Recklassly to boost The Tricky's attack and make this duel end in a draw!" That should do it, right? I was hoping on going on the offensive but I guess this will have to do. Now then...let's go 200 points for a Dark Bribe...since he can't use Trap Jammer. I wonder if he has seven tools of the bandit? Akio was hoping that the duel could end in a draw. Even his exam proctor knew Akio belonged in a higher ranking dorm, Akio was in Ra Yellow by choice so he didn't have to duel everyone every day. He'd much prefer dueling to be more casual. Well I guess its a good thing I was planning on going offensive next turn. I wasn't going to set rush recklassly face down, but I thought he'd use a card destruction or something. Who knows with that deck?

As you activate your Dark Bribe Loki's last face down flipped up, I activate my last Face Down, Tricky Spell three and with it I'll tribute my The Tricky Hound to negate your Dark Bribe and then add your Rush Recklessly back to your hand, so that means you still take the damage and I'm still untouched, to bad you almost made a draw out of this. Loki new that his opponent would go for a draw or try to take out his monsters like he did with that Mirror Force so he had made sure to have a counter ready when he tried to end the duel, Loki enjoyed taking his opponents tactics apart, Loki was glad that the duel had ended so quickly so his strategies weren't reveled.

"Oh well, guess all I can do now is lose." Akio smiled as he turned off his duel disks holograms and walked out of the tournament hall. Before he reached the exit, he turned his head, "Good game by the way." He walked out of the door and put his gluttony deck in his pocket. Good thing I lost. Looks like Loki uses Tricky cards. Eh, no matter. I still have 6 decks nobody on this island has heard of. I guess I should bump myself up to Pride or Greed though, now that people know about Gluttony. Actually, on second thought, I probably shouldn't even duel for a bit. That duel got boring fast.

Loki watched as his opponent left the arena, he could tell that he had gotten bored with the duel and that he probably didn't put his all into it but Loki didn't really care he had won the duel without showing the true strength of his deck. Loki walked out of the arena and slipped away from the crowd that wanted to duel him relatively easily, as he was heading back to his dorm he noticed that some of the white dorm students were watching him, they gave him the creeps because they seemed like zombies and dueling them was extremely boring he new their was something behind them but he didn't really care enough to check it out he had his own things to take care of.

Profesor shine walked up to Loki. "Congratulations you have 1 the first duel ever at the new duel academy. I give you your reward!" Shine handed Loki a card. "Its called assualt mode activate, it will make any synchro go into assualt mode but you need its /Assualt mode form. You can win it if you beat the school champ Dioxyn,he is in the Judgment White dorm, what do you say." Proffesor Shine anticipated the reply. He had always wandered about synchros. He only ran 1 and that was Ancient Fairy dragon. Proffesor shine had a flashback of obtaining the card.

 

Flashback: Luna ran from the man chasing her, he knocked her down and took AFD Proffesor Shine cuaght him and dueled the man for it. He beat the theif and when he returned the card to the girl she told him to keep it. therefore extending his research over synchros

 

Back to life:Oh and dont call me Chancellor you can call me proffesor.

Loki took the card from the professor, Thanks, though I doubt I'll be able to use it but we'll see, and who says the whites are the best on the island. Loki continued to his dorm he noticed that he was being followed by a group of white students, eventually they surrounded him and forced him to duel them all at once, a few minutes latter people could hear what sounded like a roar all around the island and Loki walked out of the shadows from were he was dueling, he had a smirk on his face all the people he had been dueling were knocked out though the only damage to them was that their white coats were burned off, Loki went to his room and lied down on his bed.

One white students saw the clump of duelist on the floor. Dioxyn Walked past the square of duelist and saw the Chancellor. "Chancellor Shine, is there something you need?" Shine smiled. "Please call me proffesor and the winner of todays duel, Loki should duel you but first you should duel me."

 

Dioxyn frowned. "Sorry but i am booked for a duel at the school lobby. Some Slifer slacker has been talkin some shi-i meen shizzle." Shine smiled(again) ok i will watch.

 

Dioxyn wen to the lobby and activated his dueldisk. "This will be quick." The slifer grinned and activated his duel disk. The slifer started boasting about his Elemental heroes.

"Since i am a slifer i will go first.

 

"I summon Elemental hero Neos Alius and equip him with supervise! So now he is treated as neos. Then i set 2 cards!"

 

Dioxyn started to laugh. "I summon Jain lightsworn paladin then i will set 2 cards and attack, (4000--->3800) i end my turn and that sends 2 cards to the grave. Not your day becuase i sent Wulf so i can special summon him!"

 

The slifer drew. "I summon elemental hero sparkman then activate reinforcement of the army to add clayman to my hand. Then i activate Polymerization to make, Elemental Hero thunder giant! I will use his abilty to destroy your-" Dioxyn revealed Divine wrath destroying thunder giant.

 

Dioxyn drew. "My move and i will let them both attack! (3800--->0)

 

Proffesor shine yelled out "A perfect victory!"

Ryan Terra walked out of the room. He wondered about that Assualt mode thing that the Chancellor gave that guy. He was so into thought that he bumped right into some guy. "Wow, sorry about that-" But he didnt finish. The boy was staring at him and his deck. Suddently, he said"You, Lets duel! Now!" shouted the boy. "Also, Im Nathan. Now lets duel!" Taken back by surprise, he started his duel disk. So did the boy.

 

"You go First, Lets see that Deck of yours" said Nathan. He knew that he was the right opponent. He wanted to meet someone Defensive so if they ever taged up, they would be an Offensive/Defensive duo.

 

"Alright then. I set this card into Face-down defense mode and place two cards face down. Im done" said Ryan. The kid was smiling for some reason.

 

This guy uses Defense. Nice. "My move! I activate the Field spell Jurrasic world!" The hallway turned into a jungle area. Kids were coming around to watch them duel. "Now i summon Destrotersaurus in Attack mode. Now destroy that face-down card." The Destroyeresaurus charged at the guys face-down card. A Giant Rat came up from the card: actually, it WAS a Giant Rat"

 

"You destroyed Giant Rat. Now I add a monster in face up attack position with 15oo ATK or less. I summon Golem Sentry i Attack mode!" Ryan said as a Giant wall with a lance emerged.

 

"No matter, ill just destroy it next turn. Turn End." he said. What would a monster with only 800 Attack points could beat his Destrotersaurus with 2100 Attack points?

 

"Alright, My move! I use my Golems special ability, switching it to face-down defense mode. Then i use my face-down card, Swords of Revealing Light. Now you cant attack me for three turns, and my Golem is flipped up into face up defense mode. Now his ability sends your monster back to your hand!" he said as Destroyersaurus went back into the kids hand. He looked shocked. "Now i sacriface my Golem to summon my Hieracosphinx! Attack Directly (4000-->1600) Thats it for now." said Ryan. He only had 2 cards in his hand while his opponent had 5 cards.

 

"Impressive. but now ill show you the real power of the dinos! I now have 6 cards! I activate Big Evolution Pill. Now for three turns, I can summon dinosaurs without a sacrifice. I summon Ultimate Tyraanno with 3300 Attack points! I set a card and Thats it for now." said Nathan. He was impressed by the boys power as a duelist.

 

"Alright then, With three cards only, theres not much to do left. I sacrifice my shpinx to summon Exodias little brother, Exxod, Master of the Guard!!!! Now i activate my face-down card, Shield and Sword. Now he has 4000 Attack points! EXXOD, OBLITERATE!!!" Exood shot his power of energy at the boy.

 

"I activate my first face down card, Rush Recklessly, giving my Tyranno 700 points! Now they both have 4000! Now I activate Ring of Destruction, Destroying Ultimate Tyranno, causing us to both lose 4000! Its a draw!" said Nathan as Tyranno exploded, blasting off both of their life points. "Good job, Hey, whats your name?" asked Nathan, as he held out his hand in friendship.

 

"Ryan. Ryan Terra" he said, whilel shaking Nathans hand as a truce of there new friendship, respect and rivalry.

Vio walked down the hall in the disappointment of losing to the school champ. "He really is good." Vio bumped into Chancellor Shine. "Why so down champ?" Vio was nervous. "Lost to Dioxyn, i need to win to feel better." Proffesor shine looked at him witha slight grin. "It is not always about winning, He is in the highest dorm and undefeated." Vio looked up at Shine. "Has he ever dueled you?" Shine smiled. "No he is worried we would lose." They both started to laugh. Vio walked on to his room and looked through his deck. "Thunder Giant was useful but i want to use neos more now. I need to duel somebody. More my level." Vio shuffled his deck and drew 1 card. It was elemental hero neos. He took out the neo spacians and began thinking. "This is what i need, Neos is the key!" Vio laid down. "First class will start soon."

Low had seen Vio and saw the Elemental Hero Neos card. He smiled and walked up towards Vio. "You know the story behind that card, right? It's said that Neos was a protector of the stars and planets themselves." Low kept his smile on. "Actually...come to think of it, how would you like to test out that card in a little duel? Just a fun, casual one that is. I've been wanting to test out a few cards for myself, I figure you'd be a perfect test candidate. Oh, but I should probably introduce myself." Low gave a bigger grin and pointed to himself with his thumb, "My name's Low Ashura. I'm one of the slifers here."
