burnpsy
Since my baby brother isn't smart enough to use Machina Gadgets properly, I decided to build him something simpler and banlist-proof: Graham’s Number Countdown (40) Monsters (12) 3x Oshaleon1x Sangan3x Volcanic Shell3x X-Saber Palomuro2x XX-Saber Ragigura Spells (14) 1x Brain Control1x Card Destruction3x Final Countdown1x Heavy Storm1x Mind Control1x One for One1x Pot of Avarice2x Snake Rain3x Upstart Goblin (we have 1) Traps (14) 3x Dark Bribe2x Limit Reverse3x Rainbow Life3x Threatening Roar (we have 1)3x Waboku Extra Deck (5) 1x Ally of Justice Field Marshal1x Colossal Fighter1x Gaia Knight the Force of Earth1x Magical Android1x X-Saber Urbellum I have a feeling this is being done wrong. In any case, please help make this consistent, and no non-budget ideas please. As this deck is on a budget, I think it may be smart to show how much of this deck we already have. The bolded stuff is what we have. But they're not set in stone automatically just because we have them - remember that.

burnpsy
what is this i don't even Get Graham's Number LP, draw exodia. Simple enough, right? Why Lightning Vortex? To pitch Palomuro? Yeah. It's also a GOOD THING to trigger SLR and have the opponent SS Stardust in ATK position if my opponent hasn't figured out what's going on yet. Brandon Michael Geren
X-Saber Axel is so <3 here. I'm gonna run this on WC09 now for random reasons.
burnpsy
Thanks for reminding me. I'll test on WC09 immediately. Which variant of this deck do you think is better - Exodia, White Potan Burn, or Stall?

burnpsy
The lowest price for Solemn is $13.59 USD. That's not budget at all.
Brandon Michael Geren
*Doesn't see a mention of what the exact budget is anywhere* *Also points out that "You're funny" didn't mean "You're wrong". Doesn't really know what he meant*
GenzoTheHarpist
Why bother with the Exodia aspect? Something like final countdown should be easier right?
Brandon Michael Geren
Why bother with the Exodia aspect? Something like final countdown should be easier right?I hate it when people make good points. Yeah, Xodia is dead drawing ALOT So neg a few axel and Xodias for Wabokus and T roars and COuntdown? Doesn't really know what he meant* OK then. I just made an assumption there, as I couldn't figure out anything else you may have meant. There's no exact budget listed because I don't have an exact number. I'm already getting $240+ USD in PKMN cards, plus my side deck and everything else that my younger brother's deck and mine need. And I'm Canadian, so... Yeah, just keep it to a very small minimum. Why bother with the Exodia aspect? Something like final countdown should be easier right? Good point. Thanks Genzo! -5 Exodia-3 X-Saber Axel +3 Final Countdown+1 Pot of Avarice+3 Threatening Roar+1 Giant Rat I'll edit the deck now. +Rep.

burnpsy
-2 Vortex+2 Something else that discardsMaybe DWD?LV doesn't let you loop that turn. DWD sucks... In any case, I never needed to discard it anyways, I seem to get away with One for One, Foolish and setting as it is. Also, Oleon got a great idea. Dudedudedudedude idea. A few problems with Snake Rain. First and foremost, I need to have 4 Reptiles left in my deck (at least), and I have to send 4 to the grave. Unless I have Limit Reverse or another Saber in hand, I don't want to send all of the Palomuro. I considered Oshaleon but was never able to fit it. So, I need to have another Saber if I run Snake Rain. Ragigura seems like the best option right now. So, it would turn out like this: -5-7 Cards +3 Oshaleon+1-2 Snake Rain+1-2 XX-Saber Ragigura Mind helping me decide on the 5-7 to toss?
byak
-2 Lightning VortexIt doesn't really seem like you need Thunder Dragon and Shell, now that you're running a Final Countdown variant.
burnpsy
-2 Lightning VortexIt doesn't really seem like you need Thunder Dragon and Shell, now that you're running a Final Countdown variant. They're deck-thinners to access everything. Remember, the strategy involves traps, which are only searchable by bad cards. Actually, even something like Card Destruction would be helpful in this build. So that's 6-8 slots needed. Removing LV was a given. Now we need 4-6 more slots. I'm honestly stumped. So far: -2 LV +3 Oshaleon+1-2 Snake Rain+1-2 XX-Saber Ragigura+1 Card Destruction
Brandon Michael Geren
You could also neg a rat.
burnpsy
You could also neg a rat. OK. I also think I can easily remove a T-Roar, they're only useful until the loop is done. Also... 1 Limit Reverse3 Thunder Dragon The Thunder Dragons can be tossed until space is found for them again. So, we end up with: -2 LV-1 Rat-1 Reverse-3 Thunder Dragon That's 7 cards, which should be enough. The cards that were going to be added were: +3 Oshaleon+1-2 Snake Rain+1-2 XX-Saber Ragigura+1 Card Destruction Now we must decide if the deck should have 2 Snake Rain and 1 Ragigura or 1 Snake Rain and 2 Ragigura. I'm leaning towards 2 Snake Rain myself. Changes made. EDIT: What's with me and math today? Both can be put in @2.
burnpsy
Hand Destruction and Giant Rat have been the least helpful cards in the deck so far, and I've noticed that several decks can break through and win before I draw Rainbow Life. Also, I was thinking that this deck could use more conventional methods to hold out until I draw Rainbow Life. Remember - Palomuro is a Tuner. One can make use of this and perform Synchro Summons to hold the opposition off. So, I think I should do this: -3 Hand Destruction-2 Giant Rat +2 Waboku+1 Threatening Roar+1 Brain Control+1 Mind Control + Budget Synchro Monsters Thoughts? EDIT: Tested. Worked well. Change made. GenzoTheHarpist
You can't afford it if it's budget, but I think Gold Sarc would work wonderfully in this deck.
burnpsy
It probably would be. It's too bad on the price there...
