"Gaia the Fierce Knight" support? (Good comments = rep.)

I thought another classic card could use some support. It's pretty simple, and would go nicely with "Spiral Spear Strike".

While you control a face-up "Gaia the Fierce Knight", this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. If a "Gaia the Fierce Knight" you control destroys a monster your opponent controls by battle, and then this card attacks your opponent directly, a "Gaia the Fierce Knight" you control gains the following effect until your next End Phase:

- If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, draw 1 card.

This is terribly, terribly cheap, TERRIBLY CHEAP, also, the card art isnt good for Gaia the fierce knight support, I dont like the name either, leave the Gaias to the guyas....ya see what I did there? anyway, theres already to many Gaia cards

Gaia the feirce knight

Swift Gaia the feirce knight

Gaia the dragon champion

Gaia knight the force of earth

and

Gaia Drake, Knight of Earth and Sky

...and spiral spear slash, this card would be baned right away, its to cheap, theres already enough Gaias, The gaias should be guys, the name isnt good

3/10

Also, bribing people with reps...shame

Dark Magician

Dark Magician Girl

Dark Magician of Chaos

Dark Warlock

Thousand Knives

Sage Stone

Dark Magic Knight

Knight's Title

Oh hey look at that thar a card with lots of support. Your argument is invalid and gets a 2/10 (2 points since it IS cheap)

The card itself gets a 2/10 though, sorry. All Gaia monsters must be a higher level than 4 and have over 2000 attack, its the law. The card would be easy to fetch since its a warrior type too. I don't think it would see that much play though, since the current warrior meta focuses on strength and speed and this provides neither.

I didn't realize there was a law, but I appreciate the comment.

Lol, RepRaptor wasn't talking about your comment, Aussa.

And about the card... she isn't even a "Gaia", she's her own card that happens to be "Gaia"-support. There's nothing wrong with trying to add a little variety, and it's not like this is ever going to be a real card.

And about the effect... it's really not as cheap as you claim it to be. It's pretty situational, actually. The only way "Gaia" would gain the effect is if the situation was this specific: If your opponent controls 1 monster, "Gaia" has to destroy it, then "Friea" has to attack your opponent directly. If her attack is negated, or if your opponent controls another monster, then "Gaia" never even gains his effect. I will admit that her ATK is high, and that I should change it to 1800 or 1700.

-_- youll do anything to protect your card wont you

Your attack probably would have been negated with Gaia anyway, you might want to make your effect more clear, what you have is confusing to some people, ad they might think, "Oh, she gets a free direct attack" Y'know? Besides, with that one spiral thing, you draw three cards a turn

Wrong:

As you can see, only "Gaia the Dragon Champion" gains the draw 2 cards effect. My card only gives "Gaia the Fierce Knight" the effect. But with the effect and "Spiral Spear Strike", you would be able to draw 1 card easily, which is the point of my card. And I don't know how to make the effect any clearer. There is no free direct attack involved. If you can think of a better way to word, i'd happily listen.

Lets see, first effect can protect it from card effects (obviously). Can also give some simple draw power when Gaia runs over a monster and inflicts battle damage. My opinion though is this. Gaia the Fierce Knight is the really old version. They're is newer versions of gaia now. An effect monster version, a synchro monster version, even a fusion monster or 2 version. So maybe, you should just say 'Gaia' instead of the full name? Sure they're are other cards out their that are monsters with 'Gaia' in their name, but still. Overall, it's a decent beater that gives Gaia a decent drawing effect. 9.2/10

I would've preferred if you did a slight change and made Gaia the Fierce Knight become unable to be destroyed by card effects instead.

I'm a bit undecided about this card. I just don't see myself using a plain Gaia the Fierce Knight any day soon. Thus, it's hard to say whether or not it's useful.

Mind elabourating some specific play strategies for me?
