It had been many years since the end of Duel Academy and the demolition of it. Since then, a new company has taken that roll, DME Inc. have opened universitys all over the globe. They have been sucessful but they thrive to make the biggest and greatest university ever, on the island in which Duel Academy was built. One of the DME's lead directors, Professor Weyland has objected to biulding on that island on the grounds that there was too much strange activity on that island.

 

In reply to Prof. Weyland's request, DME sent in a team of highly trained graduates from each of the universies to check the island and to make sure it is safe. Unknown to them, the Duel Academy still exists, in a dimension parallel to our own and the Shadow Realm. This dimension is the Twilight Dimension and there are certain points that our world llinks to theit world, Duel Academy for one. It will be only a matter of time before the duelists sent to the island will be transported to the Twilight Dimension, which is filled with dark forces.

 

They will have to embark on a great journey in the Twilight Dimension in an attempt to return to their home world. You are one of these duelists, boarding the one way trip to Duel Academy Island.

Appearance: Kazu is a 6 foot, 17 year old. He has shoulder length, jet-black hair and often wears a long, heavy white cloak, though he does not attend and the uniform itself is torn in several places, giving him the appearance of some sort of wandering hermit. He has dull, misty green eyes that give him the impression of a blind man and carries a scar that that extends across his eyeline that furthers the appropriateness of this appearance.

 

Personality: Kazu is a distant person who rarely socialises with others. He holds a low view of most people. He only respects those who he believes have the strength and potential to become a master-class duelist. Despite his lack of respect to most people he has a heavy sense of justice and will often defend what's right, regardless of who is representing it.

 

Bio: Born into a high-standing family, Kazu has had a relatively closed-in lifestyle due to his families lack of social presence. His family was, however, highly praised due to their research and developments in domestic technology. Because of his families position and occupation, the were disappointed with him when he had expressed a desire to become a duelist. Kazu did not wish to become a duelist because he believed it would help him attract friends but because it was an activity that allowed him to kill time and he seemed to be naturally good at it. Eventually his parents had consented to allow him to enrol at a DME Inc. owned university and he had soon risen throughout the ranks to be known as a great duelist.

Personality:

Grey is curious and in love with history, this led him to take up archeology his favorite thing about history was the dinosaurs and he loves when he can get into a dig that is involved with them though he loves all archeology in general. Grey is very kind though he hates ignorant people.

Bio:

Grey was born the son of a collage archeologist, his farther made little money so Grey knew that if he wanted to be an archeologist he would have to do it for a private company, that company was I2 (Industrial Illusions). Grey worked as an archeologist finding ruins and cards that were involved with them, he also worked on dinosaur fossils which helped in making them more common and accurate, he eventually revived the Fossil archetype now using Synchros in the graveyard. He eventually started working with DME Inc as they had become close partners with I2, knowing that there would be ruins on the island he was sent to inspect them and see if they had any value or use for the new acadomy.

Personality:Quiet, doesn't like to be bothered, smart, smooth talker, has no sexual prefrence, kind of a sociopath.

 

Bio: Blake has no father and his mother died of breast cancer two years ago, Blake was taken in by a ruthless, overworking, slave driving father. He had no love in his life anymore, he prayed for his new father's death. He then found a Grandmaster Sasuke Card one day, he fell asleep and then the next morning, his "father" was dead with twelve Kunai in his torso, throat and chest. He then knew that this card would be looking out for him, he then created a personal deck with cards that meant things to him. He called it his Secret Nightmare Deck. It was full of Spellcasters, fiends, and machines. He soon joined the academy after a recruiter saw Blake's dueling skills in an underground dueling sect. He never told anyone else his true name, he just goes by Zero.

Personality: Koda hated dueling at first but started to grow on it after his tenth birthday. Koda was no "famous duelist" but he was one of the best duelists in his toen. He is modest, jet also gets a little anxious for a good duel. He tries to be silent but he alwase gets commented as a person who quote "doesnt shut up". He takes it very seriosly when he gets told that. other then that he is a pretty basic teenage kid.

 

Bio: Koda's father died when Koda was 10 and tought him how to duel when he was 9. Koda hated it at first. His father thought that there should be one card in your deck that "represents" you. For him he thought it was the Dark magician. He gave Koda his "representation" card when on his tenth birthday. It was called "Phoenix Riser". After that Koda started to love dueling. His father said koda was just like a phoenix, rising up when he gets down. After his father died Koda was devistated but remembered what his father said and got back into dueling. His other family members include his mother and younger sister. Koda doesnt have a lot of friends since he alwase talks and takes the words "shut up" very seriosly though no one, not even him knows why.

Personality: Jayson is that kind of guy who loves to be the life of the party whenever he hears a party he always is ready to go and ends up joining in regardless of whether he's invited or not if he gets kicked out he'll just start his own party. He's a friendly and carefree kind of guy but when needed he can be serious. He loves hanging out with his friends and making new friends to.

 

Bio: As a kid Jayson grew up only playing sports until he found a card on the ground which he thought looked awesome. He soon built a deck surrounding this card which he nicknamed 'Ace' because it's won him so many duels. Later he built his deck and got all his friends to make a deck and duel him during lunch time or after school. One day he found another card which he considers to be his 'Ace' card and added into his deck. He decided to head for the academy because his parents told him about it so he could improve his dueling skills. He also wanted to travel because he loved travelling to exotic islands and wanted to meet some new friends. As a kid he was usually called 'Sonic' by his peers because they thought he looked like 'Sonic the Hedgehog'.

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: Of Spanish descent. He has jet black hair, which is always brushed back. Wears a Obelisk Blue Duel Academy Senior Uniform, which has been passed down through his family for generations. Sports his Koa'ki Meiru Duel Disk (explained in the bio) on his left arm. When he duels, the symbol of Koa'ki Meiru appears in his eyes. This allows him to slow down the duel around him, giving him more time to come up with a strategy.

Personality: Very often lapses into Spanish. Somewhat talkative. English is his second language, so if he comes across a word he doesn't know, he says it in Spanish instead. Can be eccentric at times, though he has always been able to stay calm when he needs to. During duels, he sometimes thinks out loud, often to the opponent's advantage.

Bio: Avelino learned to duel when he was 10. He would often bet on his duels so that he could help provide for his family. After being constantly beaten by powerful decks, such as Lightsworns and Blackwings, he bagan searching for cards to defeat those kinds of decks. He tried many different kinds of decks, but they all failed. He eventually came upon a mysterious capsule, with an even more mysterious marking on it (This "capsule" is the "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru"). Upon opening the capsule, he found this deck inside. After carefully examining the cards, he realised that these were the cards he'd been looking for. He later developed a custom Duel Disk that, when activated, is in the shape of the symbol of Koa'ki Meiru. He began dueling again, and was recently recruited by a "talent scout," as you may call it, to go to Duel Academy Island.

Deck Type: Starsigns

Appearance: He has scarlet red eyes, and plays with a "poker face" as some call it. He has pure white hair and wears a white jacket resembling the Duel Academy Senior Uniform. He wears a customized Black-Trimmed Academy Duel Disk on his right arm, as opposed to the more common left. His D-Wheel is one of the few types that have one wheel.

Personality: He never shows emotion. He never smiles. He never frowns. When dueling, he tends to be very analytical, and can predict almost any strategy. He sometimes lapses into Japanese, his native tongue, most often during a duel.

Bio: Two years ago, while having a practice Turbo Duel, he and his sister, Kochiyo, were involved in a collision between their two D-Wheels. She was badly injured, and was taken to the hospital and put under intensive care. While in the hospital bed, she gave Zodia a card she had made for him, "Stellar Infinity." He took the card, and two days later, she died. In order to cope with the death of his sister, he has purged all emotion. Up until now, he has been a wanderer, challenging almost anyone to a duel. He has not lost yet. He was asked to go to Duel Academy Island after a "talent scout" observed one of his duels. The man believed that Zodia showed potential.

Name: Daylien Russo

Gender: Male

 

Appearance: He is an enormous, 6'4'' bald man with calm hazel eyes and a usually expressionless face. His features resemble that of someone who has had terrible tragedy occur repeatedly throughout his short life. His nose is squint to the right due to being broken several times, his mouth is usually pulled into an ugly grimace despite any positives occurring around him while a birth mark shaped like a jet black panther slithered down his left cheek.

 

Personality: Daylien is silent, reserved, always judging situations at a distance far enough that emotions will have no impact. He has been the victim of too many upheavals in the past to let it cloud his judgment now on such an important job. Despite his surly demeanour, his expertise is valued by his peers so he is a welcome member to their team.

 

Bio: Born with the gifts of a psychic duelist meant that Daylien had a troubled childhood. He was immediately marked as an outcast at schools due to his birthmark and his anger at this surfaced through his abilities in his school training duels. Eventually, years of therapy allowed Daylien to gain control over his talents. However it also left some of his emotions inhibited also. He had no social connections to speak of, his brother and mother avoided him and the only reason his father ever contacted him was to be sure that he was not about to have a relapse. Although, Daylien is beginning to wonder if his treatment is as permanent as people believe. Recent nightmares and waking up to his room being eviscerated have warned him that something is stirring within him... A beast that has been caged for over a decade and is now raging to be free.
