How do you send private messages?

I am having severe difficulty posting messages to one of my friends... I know "how" to send PMs but unfortunately it gives an error that effectively stated that I could not send a private message to said person. I know I am not on their ignore list, so does this have something to do with the new messenger quotas?

Well if you're absolutely sure you're doing it right and there's errors, then that's it, just errors, it is a new forum after all and things are still being changed.

 

I received a PM yesterday, so I assume it works for me, maybe recent change or you're doing something wrong.

 

Try again now, then again later, if all else fails, post a comment to their profile.

YCMaker needs to change the per-group settings for Private Messages. If they wish to be able to receive them, they need to untick the "disable PMs" box in settings AND clear out their inbox. The database kept old messages but the limit still applies, so the max is whatever it is until it changes.
