Riohs continued off heading towards the city for a taste of the Sythgrenian nightlife. "{Humming} What a day. Now it's time for some fun." Riohs said. Riohs then sensed something weird, as if he's being followed. "Boy this feeling isn't something I want to ignore. Hopefully, I'm just crazy from all of that riding but...." Riohs' feet turned orange and he leaped up into the air. Riohs then landed on a nearby tree and sat down on a branch. "Hey is someone there? Hello?" Riohs said looking down from the branch.

Ghost stayed quiet for a moment until he realized it was better to befriend this man, as he had many people with him, all most likely willing to fight.

He emerged from the tree he was behind.

"Hell there," he yelled to Riohs, "Might I ask where you're going?"

Ghost looked up at him and grinned.

"A large group might be good in case Kraive shows up after all," Ghost thought to himself.

"Hmm, oh it's you, the guy from before, hey." Riohs said with a friendly smile and wave of the hand. Riohs then easily leaped down from the tree and landed softly on the ground. "Me? Well I'm going into town for some good times. I know this great place that serves up the best juice ever in the whole Sythgren capital. Wanna come with?" Riohs asked in a friendly tone. Riohs was the kind of guy to befriend anybody, even though he doesn't know them. "By the way, I'm Riohs, nice to meet you." Riohs said holding out his hand for a friendly handshake.

"Ghost huh? Sounds like an interesting name. Is that really your real name or an alias?" Riohs asked as he shook Ghost's hand and then placing his hand back to his side. "Anyways, so what are you doing here in the Sythgren capital? I noticed you visiting the king today, but I didn't listen in on what your motives were. You don't need to tell me if you don't want to though, I know it's weird to be asking that since we just met." Riohs said, scratching his head.

"Ghost is just an alias. I call myself Ghost because of my childhood. I always felt like everyone could see right through me, and like I was deserted.

My parents were killed when I was young, and I was left with my aunt, uncle, and... brother," Ghost said, shuddering at the mention of Kraive, "To be honest, I'm here because I saw you and your group enter the city. You all seemed like interesting people, so I figured I'd find out more."

Ghost studied his surroundings once more, to make sure Kraive wasn't nearby.

Reina started to feel bad again about slapping Riohs earlier. She was trying to get rid of the boredom but it was hard. Reina wanted to explore instead of staying in the room the whole time. She stood up and headed for the door. Reina stopped herself. What was she thinking? She sat back down and layed on the bed tyring to block out any sounds she could hear. Reina was back to being bored again.

Ghost and Riohs sat at the bar together.

"I need to tell you something," Ghost said to him quietly, "the last time I saw my brother, I was nearly murdered by him.

He is a wetboy named Kraive, and he's out to kill me.

Could I by any chance tag olong with you and your friends for awhile? I'd need some help on the chance that he shows up. He's a very powerful man, and he has a lot of assassins following him."

Selene was listening intently. "Hm." she said dismissively. "I suppose so...as long as you don't have ill intent with any of my friends," she added with more than a hint of sternness. "have you organized rooms with the king? You know we're all Desrian and we're trying to...get information." she said evasively, feeling that she should give their new companion a taste of what they were up to, but not much until they could fully trust them.

"What are you doing up in these parts anyways? Running from your brother?"

"Actually... no, I never even spoke with the king. I sort of... commandeered a room. As for my brother... somewhat. I don't have the slightest ill intent, I just wish that if my brother shows up, I'll have backup in case he overpowers me again," Ghost replied weakly, "His army of assassins is vast, so try to stay quiet, I don't want them hearing us. The more we avoid him, the better."

Ghost looked around for any suspicious looking characters, but saw none.

"I'm actually Desrian as well," Ghost said, "though I'm not as loyal a man as you and your friends are."

"Mm." Selene said again. "I'll decide the loyalty of you." she said with a half smile. "But commandeering a room from right under the king's nose does take a lot of nerve, I'll grant you." she nodded.

She looked at Dante. "What do you think?" she said quietly, so that none other could hear. She knew that Dante was more serious and less personable than Riohs, so he might ahve another opinion on it.

An assassin approached Kraive.

"I've found him," the assassin said.

"Good," replied Kraive, "Where is he?"

"At the bar, not far down the street. He's trying to join a group of other wetboys and wetgirls."

"Looks like it's time to pay little brother a visit," Kraive said, with a grim smile upon his face.

As Kraive entered the bar, Ghost clutched the handle of his glass as hard as he physically could and stared down at the table in front of him.

"Hey now don't be so serious would ya. I say we should help Ghost out. Afterall, you don't need a reason to help someone so you can count on me Ghost. I'll show those assassins working for your brother a thing or two, hehe." Riohs said with a reassuring, confident smile. Riohs has a certain thing about him that makes you want to believe in what he says. "By the way Ghost, does your brother hate you or something? I mean, why is trying to kill his own brother? Just doesn't make sense if you don't explain it." Riohs said.

"Those aren't just assassins," Ghost whispered, clutching his glass harder and harder, "the one in the middle is... my brother. He's wanted to kill me ever since he found out I was a wetboy. He became one himself, killed his mentor, and has been hunting me ever since. Please... don't fight Kraive, he killed his master, who was beyond elite, and all of his assassins. He did it all at once... please, let's just leave."

Ghost started to stand up, but then he heard a voice, "Hello, brother."

Ghost turned around to see Kraive with a grim smile upon his face.

"I'm not going to fight your brother, you'll fight him, I'll be backup. You'll do fine, just believe in yourself." Riohs said with a thumbs up and a smile. After seeing Kraive, Riohs quickly pulled out his two daggers and stood ready to fight. "So this guy's your brother? Hey, why would you want to kill your brother? It doesn't make sense. Are you jealous because he became a wetboy before you, or what? Maybe we can resolve this thing without conflict." Riohs said while still in a combat-ready position just in case.

Kraive unsheathed his sword. "Conflict is the only way, you arrogant fool," he said grinning.

Ghost took his out. "Get ready, Riohs, this isn't gonna be pretty."

Kraive lunged and lightly struck Ghost's chest.

Ghost clutched his chest and gritted his teeth. "Kraive... you are my brother, we are family. However, if your wish is to kill me, so be it. I will fight.

Good luck, Riohs."

Selene closed her eyes and willed Ghost to win, but it was the best she could do as she realized taht her help as of yet would be unwelcome until it was clear that Ghost would lose.

She hoped it wouldn't come to that.

She composed herself and calmly sipped her drink, watching the fight with an aura of calm, but inside she was anxious and in turmoil.

The bartender looked up and was alarmed; would this turn into a full out brawl? No one else seemed to be fighting though, and this was wetboy business...he didn't want to get mixed up in it, it would most likely end up with him lying facedown in th gutter with his throat slit...

he resumed cleaning cups for the bar without another glance.

Selene knew that sometimes wetboys were sort of cocky in a way that they became angry when she tried to help them out, btu she couldn't let this happen even though Ghost remained calm.

She screwed up her eyes and used her Talent to make the sword hover in the air and then go slowly back to Ghost's hand.

She knew it was against the code of honor, but hey, what was honor in a wetboy/girl's job?

(Somewhat Graphic violence in this one :P)

Kraive looked at Ghost in a very puzzled way.

"What was that about the key?" Krave said.

Ghost pointed his sword at Kraive's throat. Kraive grabbed Ghost by the arm and kneed him in the elbow.

Ghost tried to keep calm, but he couldn't help but yell out in agony.

Ghost dropped his sword.

"This is what I meant..." he said, shuddering.

Ghost pulled the key from his neck and jammed it into Kraive's shoulder. He then twisted it, as if to unlock something, and pulled it out. Kraive let out a shriek of terror. He fell to his knees, clutching the wounded shoulder.

"If I ever see you again," Ghost said, clutching his elbow, "It won't be a key. It won't be your shoulder. It'll be my sword, and your heart."

Kraive, stood up and started to walk away.

"Let them go," Ghost said, "Their not worth killing."

Selene nodded tersely. "He seems to hate you...a lot..." she observed tensely.

She watched Kraive go. "I could follow him." she said, offering. "I have ways to make him not see me. I could tell you where he's going..."

She knew right away from Ghost's expression what the answer was.

"never mind..."

Reina finally came out of her room. She didn't know where to go. A guard walked up to her. " Where are you going?" She didn't answer. Reina didn't know and she didn't want anyone to know where she came from. She was a bad liar so she knew she would be caught. The guard grabbed her arm and started to drag her out. His grip so tight on her arm she lost the blood circulation in her arm. He threw her outside into a mud puddle and laughed. " Stay out you brat!" The guard walked back inside. Reina was covered in mud and stood up slipping agian. She wished he never left home. There was no where else to go so she walked away from there. She wanted a bath really bad now.

"I'll go look for Reina this time." she offered. "yeah there was. I'll be right back."

She stepped out of the bar and looked around and saw a muddy person walking around, looking lost.

"Reina-- hey, REINA!" She ran over to the muddy girl. "What the h3ll happened?" she asked, looking at her. She closed her eyes, using the last of her talent; she was really depleted now... she cleaned Reina off. IT was dusk then, the sun was setting.

"Come inside, there's a new person." she said with a small smile.
