Reina stood up. She picked up the food that was left over and put it in her small bag she had with her on her hip. She walked over to the horse and looked up at it. How was she going to ge back on it with more weight. She was a bit short and the horse was tall. Reina managed to get on the horse again hoping she wouldn't fall off. What if she did fall off and no one turned around for her. Reina scolded herself for thinking such thoughts.

Selene nodded at the rest of them then kicked started Moondapple again. Moondapple reared and thundered down the road at breakneck speed. She slowed Moondapple down to a small canter, but they were still making good time.

She looked round at the scenery. It was a grassy plain, more lush and green than the Desolate plains but an empty plain nonetheless. She knew that it was this kind of terrain that was aroundthe non-populated areas, and the villages were made where a shelter of trees were in the plains.

"Alright then, let's go!" Riohs said as he jumped back onto his horse. "Giddyap!" Riohs exclaimed as the horse began running once again. By the way the horse was moving, Riohs knew that the horse had full energy once again which was a good sign. Rioh still had some concern about Reina however. She hasn't talked for awhile now. Riohs slightly looked back a her, a frown forming onto his face. "(Uhg.... I wonder what's wrong with Reina all of the sudden?.... What happened to her in town?....)" Riohs thought to himself. Without looking back, Riohs began to talk. "Hey Reina.... You've haven't said a word.... What's going on? Is something bothering you? You can tell me ya know." Riohs said. "I'll help you in any way I can to get you through any problem you have. So c'mon, spill it." Riohs reassured Reina.

Reina didn't answer. Her head was bobbing as she fought sleep. Her head layed on his back as they kept going. Reina's eyes started to close as she sat there hanging onto him. She finally fell asleep after a bit. Reina was telling herself to stay awake but it wasn't good enough. She fell asleep on the horse holding onto Riohs. She was too tired to fight it any longer. Reina slept as the horse kept moving.

Blud walked out of the inn and watched as the group left. Depressed, he sighed.

"It's for the better probably," he said to himself. "They probalby have bad buisness in my native country... probably not a good idea to let them know I'm a native... but I still can't remember what it was I was suposed to do... better go back and ask."

Blud bowed his head, raised his hand, and snapped his fingers. Water vapro in the air gathered above his head and formed a rain cloud once more that began to rain upon his bent head as soon as he lowered his hand. With his head bowed and his body begin drenched in rain, he headed in the same direction as the group, knowing that they would get to their destination before he did because he was on foot. But he didn't care. As long as they didn't know his name of where he was from, he should be fine. For now, until he gets to Sythgren, he would walk in the rain... just like he liked.

 

So on he walked.

Riohs felt Reina's head hitting his back and looked back at her. "Hmm, guess no one can beat sleep huh? Oh well, she must have it rough, I don't want to bother her now." Riohs said as he looked back to the front of him and continued following swiftly behind Selene's horse. "(The Sythgren capital.... Haven't been there for quite some time.... I wonder how things are going over there?.... Guess I'll find out soon. Hmm, I think I'm forgetting something important, but what could it be that I'm forgeting?.... I think it has something to do with the underground path I used.... Hmm, oh well. Hopefully I'll remember later.)" Riohs thought to himself.

She continued to sleep but started to slip off the horse. Her grip had loosened and Reina didn't have any other way of holding on while she slept. If she kept sliding she would fall right off the horse. If she was awake she would believe they would just leave her. Reina knew that she needed to think positive but it was hard to. She had been taught to think negative but never was able to remember the positive things in life.

As he continued with his riding, Riohs began to felt something wrong. "What the- Reina!" Riohs looked back to see Reina beginning to slip off. Riohs quickly grabbed one of her arm and pulled her back into position. Riohs was also to slow the horse's movements. "Whew, that was a close call." Riohs then took out a rope tied to the horse saddle. "Umm, sorry about this Reina. I hope you don't slap me afterwards...." Riohs said as he fastened the rop around him and Reina to prevent her from falling off. Riohs didn't tied it too tightly so Reina would not be disturbed by the rope. "Alright, let's keep going." The horse began speeding up again, Reina was now securely fastened so she wouldn't fall off.

Selene kicked her horse into a little faster gallop. Moondapple was used to this exertion. They pulled into the gate of the capital of Sythgren. As she suspected, it was guarded.

 

"Girls, boys!" the guard slouched forward. "What's yer business here, then?"

She snapped out, a quick blow to the guard's lazy ear. She was burning with rage already. "I would be less generous with the terms boy and girl, if I were you." she hissed.

"Right, right...sorry..." the guard was more than a little drunk. "So what's yer business with the king?"

"We come to report evidence of trickery in Mislet." her mind thought fast.

"You have a Desrian accent."

"All part of the disguise."

"What's your name?"

"Serenity." she brought up the name that first came to her mind and cringed slightly. That was the name of her mother.

"I've forsaken my master. All I am is a wetboy... all I have is my skills," Ghost thought. Ghost fondled the key strung from his neck. "How I wish my life didn't have to be this way," he thought, "I wish I could... start over..."

Ghost emerged from the brush nearby the capital gate. He witnessed a woman entering the city on a horse.

"I wonder who that was," Ghost muttered to himself in his usual raspy voice, "Maybe I should go figure it out."

Ghost approached the guard.

"What's yer business here?" the guard asked.

"Get outta my way you drunken fool. Let me through," Ghost replied.

"I can't without a reason to let 'ya in," the guard replied sternly.

"I'm visiting a... friend. I saw her come through this gate a moment ago."

"Who is this friend?"

"I doubt you know her. Just let me through."

"Alright... I guess I can."

Ghost passed the guard and looked around.

"No one in sight... Looks like this'll be a little bit more difficult than I thought," let's just hope that he's not here."

((By the way, she's not alone, she's with the woman Reina, and the boys Dante and Riohs. Dante's played by Raiza who hasn't been the most active, admittedly, and Riohs is played by .:Blu:.))

 

Selene stabled their horses and led the group into the Sythgrenian throne room, completely unaware that Ghost was following her.

She stepped into the room and bowed. "Your majesty," she greeted. "I come here humbly to bestow some information that Mislet is planning some trickery with Desria, and to inform Sythgren of Military matters."

 

The king gazed at her with an eyebrow raised. "you have a Desrian lilt to your accent. How do I know you aren't a spy?" he asked quite bluntly.

"That's all part of the disguise. How do you think I know of this trickery, your majesty?"

Reina woke up when they got off the horses. She found out Riohs had tied her to him. She didn't know why. Reina rolled her eyes and untied herself without a word and followed closely to Selene. She didn't want to get lost. Reina had never been out of Desria.( Sorry if spelled wrong) She stayed quiet as Selene spoke to the king. She didn't like talking to people and knew if she spoke without being spoken to she would get yelled at. Reina wasn't wanting to get yelled at.

Ghost turned toward the kings throne room. "They must be in there," Ghost thought, "I'm confused with my fascination with them... but I still feel the need to find who they are."

Ghost approached the throne room.

"Halt!" a guard yelled, "What's your business here?"

"I'm just looking for a few people that came in through here earlier."

"Why is that?"

"Old friends," Ghost lied, "I have new for them."

"I suppose you can go in... but I'm sending a guard with you to make sure you don't do anything dangerous."

Ghost entered the throne room with the guard by his side.

Reina turned to see who came in. She remembered what is was like to be in the throne room in Desria. She missed her home but she had nothing there to go back to. The only thing there is bad memories. Reina looked at the person that the guard walked in with. She had never seen the person before and usually one group comes in at a time. Reina thought that maybe that it was different here. She still stayed quiet wondering why the guard was bringing in the stranger.

Ghost watched as someone stared at him. She looked confused. Ghost looked town and walked forward, hands behind his back, weapons concealed.

He stopped a few feet before the group he was looking for. He continued to look down.

"What exactly is our goal here?" the guard asked.

"Nothing, just stay quiet. It'll help us both," Ghost replied.

She realized that she could be upsetting the guy for staring so Reina turns her attention back to the king. Reina was hoping that the king wouldn't talk to her. She didn't really know anything about what they were doing or why they were there. She did notice Selene had lied about her name. Reina felt uncomfortable about being infront of royalty. She didn't know why though. Her mind was on her father. The look on his face when her mother kicked her out. Why had her father told the guards back home that she was missing? Reina was trying to understand.

Ghost overheard what was being said. It shocked him, but it didn't bother him.

"What are you waiting for? I thought you came in to find some people," the guard said aloud.

Ghost looked at him like he was about to go on a rampage.

Ghost calmed down and said, "Next time, stay a bit more quiet."

Selene looked, and dropped her composure for a moment as she saw another wetboy come in. She could see the Talent inside him, so she decided not to say anything of importance just in case this wetboy was unfriendly.

She turned back to the king and bowed. "My apologies, your majesty. When would you like to receive us? This is a matter of utmost confidentiality, so I must implore you to let you receive us in private."

 

The king nodded. She certainly had manners, even though there was some coarse mannery that hec ouldn't place. "Agreed." he said with a dip of his head. "Please let my guard escort you into the guest quarters we keep here. I shall receive you tonight."

"They're leaving soon," thought Ghost, "I won't follow them directly, but I will keep a close eye. I'll try not to seem too suspicious."

Ghost turned and started to walk away.

"Where are you going," his 'escort' said, "Is this all you came to do?"

"Ghost looked at him and muttered the words, "Not at all."

Selene walked with her friends to the other door on the other side of the throne room, and she entered a small flight of steps. She recognized the hallway they were now in from another one of her journeys; these were the guest rooms.

She chose one of the rooms she liked best, then four others for her companions, seeing as there was one bed per room.

She nodded to the rest of them then entered her own room.

Ghost walked along, but rather than exiting the throne room, he slipped away from the guard and approached the rooms that he'd seen the others enter.

"Looks like there are some more wetboys and wetgirls around," Ghost thought, smirking to himself, "I'll have to see if they're friend or foe."

Ghost found an unoccupied room and entered.

He locked the door and laid down to sleep.

Reina sat in her room bored. She wanted to have something to do. Anything to do. She started to count the objects in her room. After that she started to just count to see how high she could get without stopping. Her room was like the guest rooms back home. She sighed getting bored counting and then starts to think if anyone missed her back home. Reina had a feeling no one did but she missed home.

Ghost sat in his bed, wondering.

"I wonder if he's here," he pondered, "I know he'd try to kill me at the very moment he found out."

Suddenly, there was a crash of lightning, and Ghost fell asleep.

Kraive walked the streets.

"I heard my little brother was in town," he said smirking, "Maybe I should pay him a visit."

Kraive looked towards the sky.

"Get ready, little brother."

After all of the events had transpired, Riohs lay on his bed with one arm behind his head and one leg on the other. On his free hand, Riohs held a small red jewel. "Hmm, I wonder just how much something like this would make? Well, I need to go outside and walk around a little bit, stretch my legs! That guy from before, I wonder what he's up to? He looks like an untrustworthy guy, or maybe it's just my imagination? Yeah, probably is." Riohs then jumped out of the bed and opened up the window. "See ya." Riohs said before jumping out of the window and landing onto the garden below. Luckily Riohs didn't land on any flowers. "Whew, sorry 'bout that flowers." Riohs said with a smile before running off.

Ghost awoke in the middle of the night. He'd had a haunting dream... it was a memory of the last time he'd seen Kraive.

Ghost barely made it out alive the last time he'd seen his brother, and he knew this meant something. He knew this meant that Kraive was coming again. And he was coming soon.

Ghost exited his commandeered room through the window.

As he landed on his feet, he saw someone walking away from a garden.

"Hmm... that was one of the men in that group I saw earlier," he thought.

Ghost decided to follow him.
