YCMaker just finished the damn conversion. Give him a chance to catch things up! He has more important things to recover than "Make stars cooler".

If people really want to know your reps, then they can check, and stars dont need to be "Cooler" because thats an oppinion, some people might like it this way

I would like to see my Reps in my posts. I like my Reps. And I would also like to see cooler stars(I doubt anyone likes dots more than stars) but YCMaker already said he would make the Stars cooler soon.

@King.: Now, I'm not. I just think that quality is more important than quantity.. Of course the stars (/dots -.-) show the experience of a member and I respect them for making that many posts (I still can't imagine how to make about 1500 posts o.O). But reps show if you are liked or not and whether you are a fair member. I once encountered a LV5 Member who used to insult others who criticized his cards. He also was extremly disrespectful towards members with a lower level than his own. His Reps were sth. about [5] I think.... Not many for a LV5.

 

Anyway, I don't think Post-Count is unimportant.

 

And I just don't get how to quote the right way >.< When I click at that MultiQuote-Button, nothing happens -.-

But reps show if you are liked or not and whether you are a fair member. I once encountered a LV5 Member who used to insult others who criticized his cards. He also was extremly disrespectful towards members with a lower level than his own. His Reps were sth. about [5] I think.... Not many for a LV5.

 

Okay I see your point but I felt slightly offended when you said 'reps are better then posts' because I try to put quality into my posts as much as I can and I have seen members give ridiculous reasons for giving both positive and negative reps to other members this is why I hoped you were being sarcastic when you posted.

 

I do see your point that reps show if you are liked or not but, some of these positive reps are just given to by friends you make on YCM this helps build ones ego and think whatever they post is golden because of it, then when they post their cards/fan fics etc. and get criticsm for it then they get angry at the critic because their friends posted saying 'its awesome keep it up!' etc. It just sets them up for a huge fall in my opinion the best thing to do is just accept the critics criticsm and not get your friends involved. Also, if you take the criticsm you can get better and whatever you do.

 

More often I see neg reps to have some more meaning than positive reps because most positives are usually spam by their friends. Neg reps tell if a user did something against the rules, but still I would prefer if they told me via thread or PM of what I did wrong so I could apologise for what I did.

I know about friend-reps/hate-negs but first one can be accepted as long as it's not overdone while second one can be reported (at least until now...)
