Ya know.... I'm just gonna come out and say this...

 

I dislike this. :/

 

I don't see what was so wrong with YCM that we had to implement changes this big.

 

I appreciate the hard work that was put into all this, and still is being put, but I think it could have been avoided.

 

 

And I know keeping amindset of "This sucks, YCM is dead now, it's crap" will never get me to like it, or even get used to it.

 

So I'll try to keep an open mind, and hopefully, get used to this :/

So let's me get this straight:

 

1. Rep system is now abusable.

2. Points system is no more.

3. There's no point creating contests because of point no.1 and 2.

4. Name change is now abusable.

5. Signatures system is now abusable.

6. YCM is much slower than before.

7. Too much Facebook's style.

 

Conclusion: The new YCM is sucks. :(

You guys, let me explain this one more time. IPB is a more powerful, professional, EXPENSIVE forum engine, and it works a lot better than mybb. You guys just aren't used to the way the features work, but that's because there's more of them, and you can do more with them, you just have to figure them out.

 

Also, gotta say, this is also the end of all those INTERNAL SQL errors that happen like, once a week.

It took me a while to get used to one forum, then I moved over to YCM, took me forever to get used to that, I am probably not going to last long here -_-

drop down menu

click settings

it's under one of the tabs there.
