Max Darkness
Turns out most of what AR does (apart from the gamebreaker codes) is make people really big or... really small... Well, might as well defeat the super-bosses and unlock the last Summons.

Max Darkness
I have no idea what you're talking about. But good luck with that. For reference's sake, a Super-Boss is any optional boss that's stronger than the story's final boss. For example, the story's final boss may have 6000 HP, whereas the Super-Bosses can have up to 16,000 HP. Beating them usually unlocks the game's most powerful equipment or abilities, or something else to prove you've beaten them. In "Golden Sun", you use Djinn (elemental spirits you find around the world) to summon creatures (most are ancient gods and the like and are a stronger form of attack). Most are avaliable once you have enough Djinn, but some have to be unlocked by finding a special tablet somewhere in the world. The four most powerful creatures you can summon each have their tablet hidden behind one of the Super-Bosses, whom you need to defeat to gain access to it. Max Darkness
Ah, of course. Well good luck beating them. I've beaten 3 of the 4, including the hardest one. But I can't find the last one. At least the experience has got me to Level 99. On note, the final story boss was a lot easier when I applied Super-Boss tactics to it. YGO topic: "Dark Hole" or "Lightning Vortex" in a "Gladiator Beast" Deck? Currently using "Lightning Vortex".
Lord Ursus
I have yet to defeat Dullahan, which I most probably could do without much trouble, but I have not dedicated myself to it. Nevertheless, good luck, Max. (You will HATE the guardian of wind) I'm logging off now. See ya later.

Nevertheless, good luck, Max. (You will HATE the guardian of wind) I'm logging off now. See ya later. A Summon-fest will do wonders against Dullahan. Is that Star Magician? Btw, in your "Memory Requiems", are there any heavy hitters apart from "Neglect"? I ask since I'm writing my 'Counter Fairies vs. Memory Requiems' duel and want to know if there's anything else to abuse with "Envy". EDIT: Have decided to use "Neglect" regardless since it makes a good ending.
Lexadin
I'd say Lightning Vortex. As that can be used while you have some mons on the field, while Dark Hole is kinda restictive on that point.
Max Darkness
I'd say Lightning Vortex. As that can be used while you have some mons on the field, while Dark Hole is kinda restictive on that point. Okay. And it does allow me to throw "Glads" to the Graveyard to be brought back with "Darius" or "Equeste". And pull off my most annoying combo. As for the 'Memory Requiems vs. Counter Fairies' duel, it is turning out to be the longest duel I've ever written. Not because of its actual length, but because Mr. Ursus' character insists on having a psychoanalytical session each time he summons a monster. Two pages and I've done four turns. And most of them have very little happening in them!

Max Darkness
Yep, that's Ursus for yah. So can I read it when it's done. Also, can I read yours Ursus? Sure. Lots of character development though. Here's the first chapter (intro and first three turns):
Memory Requiem (Jap: Psychological Duellist Jupiter! Memory Requiem Assault!)]Background: Jupiter attempted to find the root of Philip's power through invasive psychoanalysis. Despite some success, he was repelled by a force that took on the form of a gigantic, blood-drenched dragon, calling itself the servant of the Blood Moon. Philip, under the influence of this dark force, broke out of confinement and fought his way to the top of the Omega Organisation's building, with Jupiter in pursuit... Jupiter fidgeted as the lift rose higher, towards the roof floor. After probing the depths of Philip’s mind, he was reluctant to explore it again. At least this time he would be in less danger. Duelling psychologically was a lot less risky than exposing your mind and delving yourself. His trained mind was already trying to decipher everything Philip’s mind had revealed. He was a complex being, more so than others. And some of that was not Philip’s own background. There were two more personalities in there, but they were too distinct and dissimilar to be a mental disorder. They were something else entirely. Perhaps his deck could shed some light on the mystery. The life doors opened, and evidence of Philip’s explosive revenge was everywhere. Doors were smashed in, and many sections of the walls showed scorch marks. Other parts looked as if they had been sliced with a sword, and all the lights were failing. Jupiter ignored this and paced forwards, out the twisted fire door. The wind buffeted him as he left the confines of the building. Looking around, there was no sign of Philip, but more marks of his wrath. Parts of the concrete were burnt, or torn up. Walking towards the edge, Jupiter heard a faint crash and swung round. Standing on one of the low walls surrounding the plaza Philip, in full champion regalia, was standing ready to duel. “Come back for more?” Philip started, sarcastically.“You need to control your emotions.” Came the flat reply.“You had no right to peer into my darkest side and release them. I usually keep them in check, but I had to evict you, so to speak. Otherwise you would have got hurt.”“What?”“While you were in there, crawling around, you were confused by the trichotomy of my subconscious mind. There was light, darkness and something in between. And all were too different to be constructions of one mind. If you’d gone any further, you would have incurred one of the extremes, and believe me when I say you would not have escaped with your mental stability intact.”“They’re dangerous?”“Hostile.”“I know one of them. He calls himself Dharmus. Our archives revealed that to be an old name for one of the Zodiac constellations.” Jupiter stated, walking towards Philip.“Good for you. Doesn’t change the fact you almost got killed by him.” Philip jumped off the wall, towards Jupiter.“Actually, it would be good to meet him again; and perhaps that other personality. The third one.” Philip laughed.“And what do you propose? I think you witnessed what happens when my mind is invaded.”“I suggest something different. A duel.” A sly smile crossed the analyst’s face, considering his options.“What’s in it for me?”“If you win, you can go free. I won’t note any of this down in the records, and your case will be forgotten.”“And if I lose?”“If you lose, I will know enough about you to let you go regardless.” Jupiter replied, confidently. “Duel!” Turn 1 “I’ll begin.” Jupiter drew. “I activate the effect of ‘Memory Requiem – Hysteria’. By revealing it to you, I can set it in my Spell & Trap Zone as a Spell Card. Then, I set one other card face down to end my turn.”“Poor start.” Philip said. Jupiter laughed quietly. “My turn! I activate ‘Gold Sarcophagus’, which removes one card in my Deck from play and returns it to my hand after two turns. Next, I summon ‘Bountiful Artemis’ in Attack Position, and since you left yourself open, I’ll attack directly!”“Thank you. I activate the second ability of ‘Memory Requiem – Hysteria’. When it is in my Spell & Trap Card Zone and my opponent attacks directly, I can reveal it and send it to the Graveyard to negate that attack. Then, you take damage equal to the damage I would have taken.” ‘Artemis’’ attack turned dark and rapidly changed direction, slamming into Philip, who groaned at the hit. (Philip LP: 4000 -> 2400)“Is this damage real? Like in the virtual world?”“No. But you think it is real. That’s the power of my ‘Memory Requiem’ cards. And while we’re on the subject of them, you might be interested to know that their names aren’t a coincidence. They all represent different parts of your subconscious.”“You’ve lost me.”“Your memories and experiences define your desires, your fears and the deepest aspects of your being. ‘Hysteria’ for example, represent when your life has had no control. When you were forced to look on, powerless to do anything. Remembering anything?” Philip was silent for a short time, before looking up.“Ataxia. When it happened, I remember feeling absolutely powerless. And I know why. It was because I couldn’t do anything. And nothing I could have done would have changed the outcome.”“You lost family in the event?”“Everyone. I’m the only one to have survived. Family-wise, I’m utterly alone.” Philip shook his head, trying to regain focus. “I…err…I set two cards face down and end my turn.”“I see.” Turn 3 “I draw. Now, by removing a ‘Memory’ card in my Graveyard from play, I can Special Summon this ‘Memory Requiem’ from my hand. I Special Summon ‘Memory Requiem – Despair’”. The black and green monster appeared in a flurry of energies, almost looking through Philip. “You mentioned that you are alone. I can’t imagine how that feels. But perhaps you can tell me. ‘Despair’ is, as you would imagine, representative of the times in your life when hope seemed lost. Tell me about them.” Now completely under Jupiter’s spell, Philip started, tears welling up. “There are too many times to list. My life has been interspersed with despair since Ataxia. Almost as if it has been following me. I’ve slipped into depression more times than is healthy, but who have I got to talk to? My family is gone, and my only friends have too much to think about without worry about me. So, I never truly recover, and continue pretending everything is okay.”“They neglected your wellbeing?”“I don’t think I would put it that way…”“I realise the truth can hurt. Believe me.” Jupiter replied; his voice laced with fake emotion. “I continue my turn by tributing ‘Memory Requiem – Despair’ for the tribute summon of ‘Memory Requiem – Neglect’. Despite being Level 8, it can be summoned by tributing only one ‘Memory Requiem’ monster. ‘Neglect’ shows you the moments in your life you neglected, or were neglected. You hid your emotional turmoil. Why?”“The people I would have told had more important things to take care of. I would have been an added burden.”“A burden?”“After Ataxia, I escaped to the Underworld. I was taken in by Akira’s family. I was always the added one. So I never made a scene. After all, if I had, I might as well have thrown myself out.”“I don’t understand.”“When they offered me the place, I jumped at the chance. I accepted without hesitation. I guess it was my desperation. I suppose I never considered if any problems could arise in the long run. I was still hoping my family was alive and didn’t think that I would be living with Akira’s family for the next decade.”“You’re saying you neglected their wellbeing?” Philip slowly nodded.“Maybe. I don’t know. I never really thought about it…” His sentence then trailed off.“’Memory Requiem – Neglect” attacks ‘Bountiful Artemis’.” Philip remained motionless until, unseen by Jupiter; his eyes flashed golden, seemingly returning his senses to him.“Ah…I activate ‘Negate Attack’, which ends the Battle Phase.”“I actually wish for this to continue, so I activate ‘Memory Sealing’, which negates your trap card.”“In that case, I chain ‘Trap Jammer’. I can only be activated when my opponent activates a trap card during the Battle Phase, but it negates and destroys that trap. And since two Counter Trap Cards have been activated, ‘Bountiful Artemis’ allows me to draw two cards.”“I suppose I should try to find the source of your anguish. I activate the spell ‘Memory Flashback’, which Special Summons one removed from play ‘Memory Requiem’ monster. I choose ‘Memory Requiem – Hysteria’. I can now activate the effect of ‘Memory Requiem – Neglect’. By destroying one ‘Memory Requiem’ monster, I can Special Summon another from my Deck. I destroy ‘Hysteria’ in order to summon ‘Memory Requiem – Torment’.” As ‘Hysteria’ was swallowed by a black inferno, the new, bizarre monster erupted from it. Philip flinched as it looked directly into his eyes. Noticing this, Jupiter smiled, albeit sadistically. “Stirring up old memories? I’ve found that ‘Torment’ always seems to be prominent in people who have a, shall we say, jaded past. As you can imagine, ‘Torment’ shows you the times in your life when not only have you lost hope, but when the trauma of your existence is bearing down on you: when your life seemed unliveable. It is easy to fall prey to depression during that time. You said earlier that you had slipped into that condition often.”“How can one avoid it when you’re in my situation? No family and limited friends; and nothing of my old life left. What was there apart from giving in to the gravity of the situation?” Philip sighed.“Indeed. To end my turn, I set two cards face down. Your move.”
Lexadin
Yeah, I see. So Jupiter is Ursus' character?
Max Darkness
Yeah, I see. So Jupiter is Ursus' character? Yes. In both universes, he starts out as a high-ranking detective of sorts who uses his 'Memory Requiems' as a way to psychologically damage his opponents. In Ursus' series of events, Jupiter starts out rather cunning and dark, but lightens with time (the premature end of Ursus' fic prevents any further analysis). As for my depiction, he is the head of the Libra Project (a population control edict). When he targets Philip's charge (Akira) and his friend, Philip duels Jupiter and wins. This both humiliates Jupiter and wrecks his career; he's demoted for his failure. This makes him much more vindictive and hateful, to the point where he uses Philip's friends to gain access to Philip before trying to invade his mind. As said above, it ends with the 'Blood Moon Servant' forcing him out.

Something tells me you're not huge on Crow... Well, I think we're still in one piece, but this could simply be the universe where the Continuum didn't shred itself. In any case, it's a predictable plot device, and if I'm honest I was expecting it. But then again, Konami isn't exactly handling its ancient story very well this time round.
