Yeah why?

I asked because some people like really obscure combos that work about once and then never occur again during the Deck's lifetime. (Like my 'Quick Finish' Mill Victory)

As for your fic, you might want to make "Genex" vs. "Spellcasters" the first duel, an unexpected walkover for the main character. After all, this Deck is suspiciously capable of conjuring OTKs.

Turn 1

Opponent:

Discards 1 card to Special Summon "The Tricky". Normal Summons "Arcane Apprentice" and Synchro Summons "Arcanite Magician". "Arcane Apprentice" adds "Assault Mode Activate" to the hand. Sets 2 cards.

Kyle:

Normal Summons "Genex Worker" and tributes it to activate its effect, Special Summoning "Genex Solar". Activates "Mystical Space Typhoon", targeting one of the face-downs. Chaining it, it is revealed as "Assault Mode Activate", which Special Summons "Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode".

Activates "Double Summon", Normal Summoning "Genex Recycled". Activates "Monster Reborn", Special Summoning "Genex Worker". Synchro Summons "Armory Arm". "Genex Solar's" effect; (Opponent LP: 4000 -> 3500). Equips "Armory Arm" to "Genex Solar" (ATK: 2500 -> 3500). Attacks and destroys "Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode" (Opponent LP: 3500 -> 2900 -> 0)

:o

I might use that for the 1st duel , I'm gonna look through the wiki tomorrow as genex is probobly gonna be his deck.

As you said I still have to do it like...

Player 1: (Hand: ..., ..., ...)

Activations, Summons and any damage or destruction.

Player 2: (Hand: ..., ..., ...)

Same as before.

So I'll hva to change it a bit.

The hand thing is optional if you have trouble keeping track of the number of cards you can use. I've written enough duels to not need it any more. At most I need a hand counter.

So for example just a random turn.

"I draw." Kyle shouted.

"I'll start by Summoning "Genex Worker" in attack mode and setting a face-down."

I know theres something wrong with that.

He doesn't set anything face-down.

"I draw!" Kyle shouted. "And I'll start by Summoning "Genex Worker" in Attack Mode. Then, I activate its effect! By Tributing it, I can Special Summon one "Genex" monster from my hand. And the one I choose is "Genex Solar"! ...

Shame I couldnt post that last night.

1st January now.:)

Alexis-who-is-known-as-5Ds, never mind.

@ Anyone: Re-work of recent re-work. More mechanics-screwing (sort of):

Effect: "Twisted Scorp" + 1 "Twisted" monster

This card can only be Special Summoned from your Removed from Play Zone by removing the above cards you control from play while "Twisted Gateway" is on the field. (You do not use "Polymerization".) When this card is Special Summoned, remove from play 2 cards on the field. Monsters that would be destroyed by battle by this card are not destroyed, and are removed from play instead. "Twisted Gateway" cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Also I've finished 2 more Hybrids. Steelswarm and Solaric, my own archtype.

[spoiler=These are the 2, but no stories]

20638t.jpg

1 "Alien" monster OR 1 monster with a A-Counter on it + 1 "Solaric" monster.

This card is also treated as a Pyro-Type monster. This card cannot be selected as an attack target. During each of your End Phases, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the amount of counters on the field x 100.

The Solaric's are a Counter based set with some RFP elements. So i might change its effect a bit.

The general idea for its low stats is (besides ballancing it) that the Aliens couldn't fully use the potential of the Solaric's, who are beings who live in and around stars and therefore are fire-based creatures, to thier benefit. So it became a weakened creature that's hardly graspable by physical means.

20638m.jpg

1 "Alien" monster OR 1 monster with a A-Counter on it + 1 "Steelswarm" monster.

This card is also treated as a Fiend-Type monster. When this card destroyes a monster by battle, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Steelswarm" or "Alien" monster from your Graveyard. The Summoned monster cannot be used for a Special Summon.

Gave this one the swarming abbilleties of the Steelswarm. To make it support both archtypes.

Imo the Steelswarm are another alien breed (as most of thier support cards are based on invading) that has slight connections with the Aliens, possibly an inslaved race, a fellow space conquerer or just another alien. But anyways they finally arived to earth to make it thier home (by force), but where stopped by the Gusta's, Vairon, and the Gemknights.

Now they joined forces to obliterate the enemies.

Any love for these?

Anyways I can't see any differences from your previous design on that card Max.
