Max Darkness
Left agin the BG looks more like an effect monster But you can't read the effect, while the on the MSE one, you can. Changing topics, what sort of effect would you give an evil "Shinato, King of a Higher Plane"? I'm thinking heavy burn damage (ie combined ATK and DEF) and possibly forced discard or Graveyard RFP. I also may have come up with a card to crush the gods.
Lexadin
I would do something totaly different, maybe RFP like effects?

Max Darkness
@ YGO 5Ds: It's better if you don't have to type out the effect. I would do something totaly different, maybe RFP like effects? Well, I already made "Shinato-Benu-Mikoto", the upgraded Synchro counterpart, which both damaged your opponent and restored your own Life Points; so the damaging your opponent should probably stay in there since it is "Shinato's" signature effect. I could do RFP, such as every monster it destroys is RFPed instead. I was considering having it force a discard from your opponent's hand every time it inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, but that seems too similar to "Dark Parshath". Hmm. Headmaster Monokuma
The only times I use MSE is when I need to make a Dark Synchro and it's Tuner, which isn't often.

Lexadin
@MAx: I would just do a DEF burn effect and maybe some RFP elements in it. Becouse Dark versions are ussually just the opposite of the original, right?
Max Darkness
@ YGO 5Ds: I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say. Anyway; evil "Shinato" and the ultimate LIGHT Fairy: Effect: "Shinato, King of a Higher Plane" - 2 Dark Tuner MonstersThis card cannot be Special Summoned except by Dark Synchro Summon. This card cannot be destroyed by the effects of Trap Cards and cannot be returned to its controller's hand or Deck by a card effect. When this card destroys a monster by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the combined ATK and DEF of the destroyed monster. Monsters this card destroys and sends to the Graveyard are removed from play instead. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Shinato, King of a Higher Plane" from your Graveyard. It is treated as a DARK Fiend-Type monster. Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned, except from your Graveyard by removing a number of "Angel O" monsters you control whose total Levels equal 9 or more from play. This card can only be Normal Summoned by Tributing 3 monsters you control, including at least 1 "Angel O" monster. If this card was Tribute Summoned, it gains the following effects: * This card's effect cannot be negated. Negate the effects of Effect Monsters your opponent controls. Effect Monster effects that activate in your opponent's hand, Graveyard or Removed from Play Zone cannot be activated. When this card battles, you can reveal 1 Level 4 or lower "Angel O" monster in your hand. If you do, your opponent's monster loses ATK and DEF equal to that monster's ATK and DEF, during the Damage Step only.
Lexadin
Both are quite OP imo. But the pics are excelent. From Pixiv?
Alexis Rhodes
So what are you saying ?
Max Darkness
Both are quite OP imo. But the pics are excelent. From Pixiv? Summoning three monsters that all require at least two tributes, two of which will probably have 0 ATK and DEF? That will take some effort. "Shinato" will be easy; it'll be the Dark Tuners that'll be the liability. And I had the non-return effect so that your hard work is not wasted. (Also, "Shinato" + "Book of Moon" against something like "Red Dragon Archfiend" will deal at least 3000 damage, so it is slightly overpowered itself IMO) As for "Angel O9", it's supposed to represent the ninth level of heaven, light so blinding nothing can look upon it; ie nothing can combat it (so no useable effects). And if it's Special Summoned (with a large cost), it's simply a beatstick. Also, it has no protection against Spells and Traps, so it could run straight into a "Sakuretsu Armor" or worse, "Dimensional Prison". The first pic is from Pixiv, but the second is from Deviantart. Lexadin
@Max: Yeah, you're probebly right on that. But I'm still not found of that Angel. Ah thanks.
Max Darkness
@Max: Yeah, you're probebly right on that. But I'm still not found of that Angel. Ah thanks. Would you be happier if it was blanket negation of both sides? ie No monster effects, except "Angel O9's" are applied?
Lexadin
@Max: Nah, forget about it. All effects negation effect will lead to abuse in like with Skill Drain.
Max Darkness
@Max: Nah, forget about it. All effects negation effect will lead to abuse in like with Skill Drain. Not so. This both negates effects and prevents effects from being activated. So "Beast King Barbaros'" effect would not be able to activate, meaning you would have to summon it normally, removing its abusability.
Lexadin
Yeah, but other cards like Giant Orc, Chainsaw Insect and Goblin Attack Force will be free to attack as much as they want.
Max Darkness
Yeah, but other cards like Giant Orc, Chainsaw Insect and Goblin Attack Force will be free to attack as much as they want. Yes they would, but it if your opponent has one of them and you have a Level 9, 3500 ATK beatstick; it probably won't matter. Also, EARTH Insects and DARK Fiends would be hard to use with the "Angel O" Archetype so I would think that their ability to attack without problems won't matter so much as it does with "Skill Drain", since that is more of a mix-up Deck. As for every other Archetype, this locks them down completely.
Lexadin
Only 1 has been released to the OCG or the TCG yet, so that is hard to judge.
Max Darkness
Only 1 has been released to the OCG or the TCG yet, so that is hard to judge. Not really. The "Angel Os" would all be LIGHT Fairies, so would be added to "Counter Fairy" and generic "Sanctuary" Decks. They're like "Tualatin"; it's a single, but is only really used with LIGHT Decks, since it's hard to support otherwise.
Lexadin
I still disagree, you are basicly saying that LIGHT Fairies can only be used in those 2 Decks and not in any other kind of Deck. I agree that it could be easyer to use it in those kinds of Decks, but that doesn't mean it can't be used in any other Deck such as a alternate Skill Drain Deck, since Skill Drain is (semi-)limited.
