Newb Defense League III [locked because remake]

Hey max, could I get another Twelve Days Present card ASAP?

Sure.

Any ideas on a FIRE Rock-Type's effect?

EDIT: e7j97s.png

Effect: Your opponent must attack at least 1 "Present" monster you control during their Battle Phase. Once, you can negate the destruction of this card. If you do not, put 1 Present Counter on a face-up monster your opponent controls. If you control a face-up "Twelve Days Present" monster, you can Normal Summon this card from your hand without Tributing. If this card is Tribute Summoned or Set, once during each of your Standby Phases, you can shuffle up to 2 "Present" cards in your hand into your Deck, then draw an equal number of cards.

Whats the CCCC?

A Christmas-themed set of cards. Ursus will give you the link.

Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned, Special Summoned or Set from your hand. If this card is Special Summoned, its original ATK becomes 1700. You can remove 2 Field Spell Cards from your side of the field, hand, or Graveyard from play to remove this card in your hand from play. During your next Standby Phase, return this card to your side of the field in face-up Attack or Defense Position. When this card attacks, except if it was Special Summoned, it gains ATK equal to the number of Field Spell Cards on the field and in either player's Graveyards x 150. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can reveal a Field Spell Card in your hand to inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

Sorry for becoming inactive. ><

I haven't been very active on the site in general lately, and when I did log on, I forgot to post here.

Anyway, I have a card I never got any feedback on, and I would like some if possible.

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. Once per turn, select 1 Spirit monster in your hand and Special Summon it. (This is treated as a Normal Summon) The Summoned monster returns to your Deck instead of your hand at the end of the turn.

Just a simple card. Nothing too special about it.

Considering Spirit Monsters cannot be Special Summoned, regardless of whether it's treated as something else, this is probably what you wanted.

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. Once per turn, select 1 Spirit monster in your hand and Special Summon it, ignoring the Summoning Conditions. If you Special Summon a monster with this card's effect, you cannot Normal Summon or Set during this turn. The Special Summoned monster returns to your Deck instead of your hand at the end of the turn.

I actually thought the way he wrote it was alot clear and better, and I still thank it works considering its treated as a Normal Summon? Not sure, but I thought that way would work to, but there are some spirit monsters out there that can be Special Summoned, I just forget there name, thats all..

Also, I'll pm you with a deck and need some idea with, if you don't mind Max, but its kind on lockdon b/c its going to be my put away tourney deck....

I do think your right that there are Spirit monsters out there that can be Special Summoned, but stating that you can ignore the summoning conditions would allow you to play any Spirit monster. Also, Spirit Gust could be Set on one turn, and then flipped the next, allowing you to summon an additional monster, making the other part of the effect that Max added necessary to make it more balanced.

Well, the Deck is currently very good at keeping "Spell" and "Trap Reactor" on the field for extended periods of time (so lots of damage), but "Summon Reactor" takes its time to show up.

Also, what sort of effects would you give a FIRE Rock-Type monster?

Really do you run that trap support, I think its name is "Fake Explosion?

I like it, it can really be abused with my MG archtype.

People seem to having trouble understanding the 'Return from RFP' mechanic... They all think I mean Special Summoning...

Of course, it is totaly new. And some people just won't ever get that there are other ways beside Summoning (and setting) to get monsters on your field.
