Newb Defense League III [locked because remake]

Recommended Posts

I must see these rants and yes I was talking abouit it.

I don't remember which pages they are on, but the follow the simple pattern of asking where "Delg" has come from. There were seven kings of Ancient Rome, so there were seven "Monarchs". Now they've simply plucked another one out of thin air. Now, I am aware it might represent "Remus", but I would have preferred a genuine Dark Counterpart "Monarch" for that.

Also, its effect is too powerful. It both mills and RFPs, compared to "Kuraz", whose effect can leave your opponent with a free "Pot of Greed".

But you know whatr else Max can rant on? The comment question of the day!! No seriously he can rant on this card I made, which may be the last of my set...

This is it btw

This card takes no Battle Damage and cannot be destroyed by battle. When this monster is selected as an attack target, inflict damage to your opponent's Lifepoints equal to the monster's current ATK. Once per turn by paying 500 Lifepoints, you can remove one card one the field or your opponent's hand from play. During your Endphase, while this card is face-up on your field, pay 600 Lifepoints or destroy this card.

Max, rant please

Fine.

Where on earth is the balance? Here you have a DARK Level 3 Warrior-Type Tuner (probably the four most supported parts of YGO) which cannot be destroyed, doesn't take battle damage and if it's attacked, regardless of position, burns your opponent. And then, to add insult to injury, you can pay a paltry amount of Life Points to remove from play a card in your opponent's hand(!) "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" is a Level 9, and it was Limited for its effect. And the price for this indestructable, RPFing burner? 600 points per turn...

Fix it.

Well, I would like to see that card Max, How would you Summon w/o it being a Summon?

Effect: When you draw this card, you can return 2 of your removed from play monsters to your Graveyard to remove this card from play. Then, at the start of your Main Phase 1, return this card to your side of the field in Attack Position. Removed from play cards cannot be returned to the hand, Deck, field or Graveyard. Cards sent to the Graveyard are removed from play instead. If this card would be destroyed, you can return 1 "D.D." monster you control or in your hand to your Deck instead. While you have 14 or more cards removed from play, this card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects.

Cloudians I think, not sure...But I know, I don't think many people built them b/c of their ridiculous draw back, on some of them that is. If this card is in face-up defense position, destroy it. But i have found away around that, which I like. No skill draining here, but two separate cards that work together make it fun...

"Spirit Barrier" says hi.

"Different Dimension Babel" has changed a bit since I showcased it here.

Then abuse the fact that most of them are Fairy-Types, with "The Sanctuary in the Sky". So you don't need to put them in DEF.

Perhaps also with use Spirit Barrier. Then use Fog Counters to eliminate your opponents monsters.

@max: I'm not so sure how that would work, but in any case, wouldn't they rule it as a new type of Summon, and then, behold, you have escaped all the Summon traps but two, but not sure. B/c returning would be the same as Special Summoning, I thought?

Also, If I would have clicked on the link, I probably would have critiqued there, but here seems fine...

Cloudians...

Spirit Barrier? Oh well, the only thing I see there weakness is Level limit Area b and a few other cards that are battle position changers. Like windstrom of etaqua and all that, and I am having a hard time around that sad fact...

Skill drain would help, but yet again, it wouldn't.

@lexadin: it'd help somewhat, but they aren't all fairy monsters, some are aqua and stuff, like there attributes are water and wind, but I still have a fun fun strategy with them, I just need to get off my lazy but and build it...

It's already part of the game: "Interdimensional Matter Transporter". And returning is not Special Summoning; and as of yet, there are no cards that activate when a monster is returned from the Graveyard or RFP Zone. So it's completely safe.

Can't help you with the image I'm afraid.

As for the Return-from mechanic, I'm going to push the boat out and see if it works in other cases. As you can definately 'return' from the RFP Zone; can you 'return' from the Graveyard? Since there are no cards I know that have an effect like that, this is probably one of my more original ideas in a while.

Effect: During your Standby Phase, you can send 1 Machine-Type monster you control or in your hand to the Graveyard to send this card to the Graveyard. Then, in during your Main Phase 1, return this card to your side of the field. When this card is placed on the field by its own effect, activate the appropriate effect based on the sent monster:

* 1 from your hand: If this card attacks, it gains 400 ATK, during the Damage Step only.

* 1 from the field: Once per turn, you can inflict 400 damage to your opponent.

Okay, I want to know, does anyone have to say anything about Bruno on yugioh 5ds..

I just know that Bruno he is so intent on saving yusei then he becomes a whole new person, transforms it seems like, but then it seems like no one cares or bothers to find out, why? Is he just to be a person to die instead of yusei? I'm just wondering...

have any of you thought why bruno appears in the episodes and changes when he is determined to help yusei?

Oh, and episode 138 on yugioh 5ds is subbed into english...
