I'm just tired of people on here and youtube is watch the videos and just absolutely hate it when it is just a show, not every show makes sense, and then you all try to make sense and it irritates all of you how you can't and then when they make it make sense, you guys and gals here and youtube complain and dis the show, when all it is for is Enertainment.

Not trying to be mean, but it gets annoying knowing that everyone here and youtube complain about the enertainment of yugioh, if you want to watch it, then watch it and let it enertain you and leave it as is, but if you want to rant about it, rant about some other show, and be nice to this one, or they'll probably stop airing it, and then that'd make everyone peod. I'm just saying, your on a YCM site, its about yugioh, but you are not liking the show, then why watch it? That makes just about of sense as what you are talking about, which is to me, no idea.

This is IMO, thats all. I'm just saying that if you want it to make sense, then watch the whole series before assuming, b/c then it makes an A** out of U and Me. It is your opinions, but maybe people want to just watch the shows without people making it look retarded, stupid, whatever you all want to do.

---------------------

I'm not saying all of you are complainiing or disliking it, but still, what does your parents do when you depict on of their shows, they tell you to go to your room and think about what you were saying, or do other things, b/c they want to watch it, not listen to people assuming whats going to be next, not saying that they know its going to be horrible in the next few Seasons, and all that.

IMO, its just better to not assume, not predict, no ruin it with spoilers for some people and better just to leave it alone. I came here to make yugioh cards and share ideas and make friends, not assume and complain, or have a heated debate about yugioh, or anyother show for that matter.

It may be just a show, but it needs to be well written and non-contrived. That's the basis of any successful and entertaining programme. As for the making sense of it all, what's the problem with making fun of the more ridiculous plot devices that are being crow-barred in? And what's the problem with trying to rationalise it before they do. That's what a good (and indeed silly) plot does. It asks you to predict what will happen so that when it is explained, you either get caught in the twist or realise how it all fits together.

At what point have I said it hasn't been entertaining? It's been stupid, unbelieveable and downright cliched, but never in this arc have I found it to not be entertaining. We're on a YGO site; so it's natural that we'll rant about the YGO anime. It's the easiest shared interest.

I find it unlikely that Konami will listen to A. us and B. any negative comments they get about 5Ds because it's still a major cash-flow source for them. It's like Nintendo. They won't stop producing Mario or Pokemon games even if they make a terrible one. People will still buy it or will buy the next one. People will still watch the anime and will continue to buy YGO cards. So what if the show is terrible? They've paid for it and they've sold it on to broadcasters; which is now making money for them. No reason to cancel it.

I watch the show, regardless of how annoying it becomes because it keeps me up to date with events and releases. Do you think all people on Pokemon forums enjoy the anime? Probably not, but most will still watch it to stay in tune with plot lines.

Are you saying it's a bad thing to predict or assume plot twists, thus rejecting the very purpose of a good script?

As for people watching the show and then commenting on its stupidity or blockheadedness of its characters, what's wrong with that? It gets a laugh and throws up debate points. I can't see where you're coming from.

(Considering I don't live with my parents this isn't technically applicable but...) my parents don't really mind what I say about their shows. They know what I like, and I know what they like.

And watching something on television and commenting is very different to watching a video on Youtube and then posting something on a forum. There's no disturbance involved in what's happening here.

...It's better to not assume or predict the outcome of a show? Really? You're content to watch an episode and not have any desire to know what happens next? Nor any drive to fabricate a potential series of events? That's quite a closed-off mindset.

I apologise if some spoilers have been given away. But that's why myself (and probably Lex as well) watch the episodes as they come out from Japan. It prevents having to wait until a dubbing company starts showing it. Plus, the Japanese dub takes itself seriously.

Do you really not want to debate aspects of Yugioh? That seems like a very stubborn outlook. What is the problem with asking detailed questions about something we all enjoy?

And although we may rubbish its twists and turns; we're still fans. And it's a fan's job to rationalise and debate the anime they watch.

I was just thought that you were really trying to find a reason not watch it anymore, sorry, for the no-making sense. But other reality shows usually do have a basis, but I still not sure if they have an plot, its a reality show, they just go with the flow of reality, and in essence, I was trying to merge that fact with yugioh, my mistake there. Thats is too true, money hogs make the best of us and the world.

General White:

Reason is b/c I do not want to know when I'm going to die, how I'm going to die, and I like surprises, and if thats wrong to, I'm sorry, its just that I'd rather be surprised than knowing whats going to happen next, I know a lot of people think that they need to know, but do they really? I myself is different though, but like I said, I like surprises. I know I have a Closed-off mindset, but I think really its just that I derive about the show and its contents at the end of the series if it is a series and then ask myself questions, so then I don't get to caught up with myself and make it so I don't want to watch the show anymore. Also, sorry to hear that you don't live with your parents anymore, I don't, well, off and on, but I talk to them and stuff. But then again, I can only talk to my dad, but the other one is away now. Aren't you in between 16-18? If you are 16, that must really suck.

I apologise if some spoilers have been given away. But that's why myself (and probably Lex as well) watch the episodes as they come out from Japan. It prevents having to wait until a dubbing company starts showing it. Plus, the Japanese dub takes itself seriously.

General White:

Ugh, should of stated more clearly, I didn't mean it like you were, its just that what if you or Lex is correct about whats going on, then theoretically you would be giving spoilers, and that is all I was saying bout that.

Do you really not want to debate aspects of Yugioh? That seems like a very stubborn outlook. What is the problem with asking detailed questions about something we all enjoy?

General White:

As stated above, what if you talk bout it and then its true, wouldn't that in essence kind of ruin it?

And although we may rubbish its twists and turns; we're still fans. And it's a fan's job to rationalise and debate the anime they watch.

True, thats the thing I forgot to rationalize, you are all fans, I was trying to be someone I shouldn't be, my fault there.

Yes, and he made the world free of the originals by using his storm to wipe them out. (In the original, it was simply to isolate the island)

See you.

ORLY? Why did he invite Ash & co. Then?

Because in the original, the whole point of the island was to see which was superior: clones or originals. The entire story of the movie in the Japanese is Mewtwo trying to understand both why he was created and why the humans claim that their Pokemon are better than the clones, despite being beaten in battle.

The reason he cloned all the trainers' Pokemon in the original was not to use them to destroy the world, but to complete the experiment. And the fight with Mew was not to see which was better, but whether Mewtwo had fufilled the scientists' desire, to create a Pokemon that surpassed Mew. Not in power, but in perfection.

As you can expect, 4Kids had a heart attack at a plot point about creating a 'perfect' Pokemon, and butchered it to a plot about making the most powerful monster.

Wow, it really sounds a lot deeper in the original. Perhaps I shall watch it.

Also I need a comment(s) on (either) this and/or this.

EDIT:Wasn't Mewtwo created together with a Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmender and a little girl?

There are no subbed versions that I'm aware of. I know all this from a Japanese friend.

Almost. He was created with Ambertwo; then he cloned his own starters.

Ah, that's to bad.

And those are the ones you see with all those strange markings on them, right?

Also, do you know what happened to Ambertwo?

Yes. Because Mewtwo's cloning process wasn't perfected (there are many references to 'perfection' in the original), they had their markings. As for Ambertwo:

Japanese: Ambertwo dies, because of flaws in the cloning process. This both upsets and confuses Mewtwo; he doesn't understand why she died when he's heard from the scientists that clones are superior. When he blasts his way out, he vows to perfect the cloning process so that his clones won't die like Ambertwo.

English: Ambertwo dies (unknown reason) and gives Mewtwo RAGE!!! He proceeds to kill everyone...and stuff.

Lolatenglishversion.

Anyways, I shall try to find a subbed version so I can fully understand Mewtwo.

So the reason he looks like he looks, is becouse the cloning process wasn't perfected yet?

English: Yes.

Japanese: A combination of factors. The flawed cloning process, his own genetic heritage (Mew's DNA is stated to be 'Biological Perfection' at the beginning), and the scientists' later change to create a Pokemon more 'perfect' than Mew.

It is implied that they made him more humanoid out of vanity.

Huh, I always thought he looked like a Kangeroo.

Ah, I always loved that movie when I was little. And I still like it, eventhough 4kids has r@ped the original storyline.

Well, he has more human-like arms and longer legs compared to Mew.

I liked it, and hated the Digimon Movie. I later found that there was a reason the latter was terrible. It was three movies horribly grafted together.

Yeah, and seeing as even 4kids forgets about The Netherlands, we also got away with it. :D

But seriously I miss my old networks. Cartoon Network has gone payperfview, Fox Kids/Jetix has now become *shiffers* Disney Channel, and Nickelodeon, well, just sucks now.

And all other channels are either German or owned by grumpy Germans.

I mean, C'mon the only real Anime we have here is Pokémon. <_<

Actually, the German dub of 5Ds is now independent, it isn't a translated 4kids version. It's retaining a large proportion of the original dialogue and parts. It sounds like a good compromise.

Although, German voices actors always sound incredibly uninterested in their work.

Yeah, sounds good an anything, but there's only 1 problem there. I can only decently speak/understand German as I am Dutch, which is something different.

Did you not learn German in school? And I know the difference between the languages. Dutch is far less Hungarian than German is.

I'm just glad everyone, well, almost everyone speaks English on this website, or I'd probably be lost.

There seems to be so Far

English

Dutch

German

Japanese

Spanish

Italian

and some others speak different languages.

I should maybe take a Scottish lesson, after all, my ancestors are from Scotland. Or at least be universal and take a sign language class.
