Max Darkness
@ Lex: On Trap-Heavy-ness: It probably will at some point, but so far (in the 10 or so test runs) it has either given me an annoying combination of 2 monsters that can't fuse or a slew of monsters. It's odd. I always have a Trap or two in the opening hand, but at least one of them is useable or defensive, so is good to Set. Generally, I've only had a couple of times when I didn't have any monsters in my opening hand. And then, I had a way of either getting them or messing with my opponent until they arrived. On 5Ds: I kept wondering where all his Continuous Traps came from. He didn't seem to set enough cards to activate them. And it turned out that Jack had set a couple of cards before (when?), so Yusei was playing with 3 Spell/Trap Zones for half a duel. What I also didn't get was that Yusei still activated "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" when "Machinicle" attacked, armed with the Trap-negating effect of "Wisel Attack 5". It makes no sense, considering that "Revenge Twin Soul" activates when your opponent attacks, not destroys a card you control. That card could have helped later on. Maybe he was clearing space because he was down on Zones. On Yusei's Draws: I can't think of any other situation where a Trap that destroys equipped cards would be usable in a Synchro Deck. Isn't it lucky that it came right at the moment "Machinicle" absorbed both "Scar-Red Nova Dragon" and "Black-Winged Dragon"...? And has no-one heard of "Really Eternal Rest"? Simple solution. (The only card "Relinquished" truly fears".) @ XzY: While "Skill Drain" is face-up, you can still discard to Special Summon "Quickdraw Synchron" from your hand, since it is not on the field at that point. Once on the field, its restriction regarding its useage is negated, and thus can be used for something like "Seven Swords Warrior". However, at the same time, it cannot take on the guise of one of the "Synchrons" so cannot be used for "Turbo Warrior", "Nitro Warrior", "Road Warrior" etc.
Master White
So its restriction is removed and thus therefore be able to be used for any Synchro but Synchron monsters, that is pretty wierd. But that helps alot. Thanks.
Lexadin
@Max: Well ok, if it works I won't complain. Yeah, I was wondering the same, though I can remeber Crow playing 1 or 2. He probebly got a "brilliant idea" from the so called Clear Mind state he's in. Well he did know he would fight the ME's, so he might changed his Deck to fit. And even though "Really Eternal Rest" would work against the other ME's, it wouldn't work against Cubic seeing as he would just remove a ME part from its Grave to negate its destruction. Max Darkness
So, preceed it with "Speed Spell-Soul Release". It is interesting that when he removes a monster from play to negate "Machinicle's" destruction, it doesn't negate or destroy the card that tried to destroy it... So, you could just fire off "Judgment Dragon" until he ran out of monsters.
Master White
@Max: I still have to regard that it has a condition where it states that it cannot be used for a Synchro Summon but a Synchro Summon of a monster that either lists a Synchron monster or a Synchro monster with Synchron in its name. So in turn, wouldn't that make it so it would be usable at all, b/c it is a condition yet an effect at the same time, so it is if you think about it, confusing to classify as usable or not usable tuner when skill drain is active. Lexadin
@Max: Y'know that Judgement Dragon could only activate its effect 3 times in the series. Seeing as it still costs 1000LP.

It's still an effect, so is negated by "Skill Drain". While "Skill Drain" is active, "Quickdraw Synchron" is a Level 5 Normal Tuner. @ Lex: So, like I said, use "Soul Release" first to empty his Graveyard. Or use "SS - Rain of Mercy" to get another shot.
Lexadin
Or just remove it from play. Yeah, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
Max Darkness
Shouldn't be, but because no-one in the anime knows what 'remove from play' is, "Machinicle" is for all intents invincible.
Lexadin
Or not using Synchro's, seeing as that would also help A LOT.

Lexadin
Yeah, it was just a radical idea I had. Anyways, I never knew that it would be this hard to find a img of an Onryò. I'm searching for 20 minutes now, and I've only found remotely fitting images. *sigh* Just expressing my thoughts here.

Lexadin
An Onryō, an Japanese spirit in search of revenge. You've probebly seen one in The Grudge/The Ring, though they don't totally fit the bill, they are pretty close. It's for my Vereor Force set.
Max Darkness
So, sort of an evil version of household spirits? This any good? [spoiler=]
Lexadin
Kinda, ussually betrayed by their beloved one(s). It's to realistic. But I think I've found a good one now.[spoiler=It doesn't fully cover the load, but it's good enough for now]
Max Darkness
Any thoughts on a "Belial"/"Dark Lucius" Deck? I know basic Fiend support works, but anything less-used that might add an interesting edge?
Lexadin
Mhhh, perhaps something to Power Lucius Up. Seeing as LVL 4 and 6 are pretty weak. Earth Support perhaps? Giant Rat, maybe?
Max Darkness
Mhhh, perhaps something to Power Lucius Up. Seeing as LVL 4 and 6 are pretty weak. Earth Support perhaps? Giant Rat, maybe? Powering up "Lucius" with "Axe of Despair"/"United We Stand"? Or use cards that weaken your opponent's monsters, like "Adhesion Trap Hole", "Half Shut" and "Bark of Dark Ruler"? Also, I want to use "Double Attack" somewhere (I don't know why).
Master White
@Max: Here is the answers behind Qucikdraw Synchron and Skill Drain. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Quickdraw_Synchron First two sentences denotes it all.
Max Darkness
But according to some rulings, it isn't effect as more of an condition, b/c it says it must, so if it can't, then what? Wicked Eraser for Example. It has the condition that if it is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, destroy all cards on the field. Well, i emailed ygorules and conditioned that if skill drain is on the field and The Wicked Eraser is hence forth destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, all cards are still destroyed, b/c it is a condtition. Thats why i get confused when more than one person says something else. So, that is why I believe that Quickdraw would hence forth be useless. "Eraser's" effect triggers because it activates when it hits the Graveyard. ie, when it's no longer on the field. The same is true with the Searchers. They activate once in the Graveyard, so work normally while "Skill Drain" is face-up. Since "Quickdraw Synchron's" effects work while in the hand or on the field, the first effect is unaffected while the second is negated. I'm surprised that the substitute effect is not negated. Master White
I'm surprised by that to, so in other words, Qucikdraw Synchron is a card to escape skill drain if necessary. I like that part, but was hoping to use it for stardust or my fav. Red Dragon Archfiend. Oh well, I got a lot of other combos ruting for this deck. I really love "Medium of the Ice Barrier". I updated it a few minutes ago, though. just let you know.
Max Darkness
Well, it should be capable of being used for "Stardust" while "Skill Drain" is up; but "Stardust" is rather useless while negated. 2500/2000 are not good stats for a Level 8... EDIT: Anyone got any ideas for combining an "Alien" Deck with "Greed Quaser"? Any way of using the "Alien" support cards to weaken my opponent's monsters to make them easy fodder for "Quaser" before clearing the field for a devastating direct attack? Lex, you're good with "Aliens". Could you make a list of cards that could do all that? EDIT 2: Incredible. "Reverse of Arcadia" doesn't have "Archfiend Interceptor", "Card Guard", or any of the "Dark Lucius" monsters...
Lord Ursus
Ok guys. Tomorrow's the first of December. I'll make the CCCC thread and post the first card. Master White
@Max: You are great with making decks. So could you help me a tadbit, please and thanks. it is goal is to utilize skill drain/normal monster and Special Summoning. It's s'pose to be a Special Summon deck with a oppurtunity to pull off the quillbolt loop as a last ditch effort thing. So, in other words, a Special Summon Deck, but I haven't found low level monsters other than a few that Special Summon themselves. Well, other than that, I'm making a christmas surprise card to. @Lord Ursus: How did you come up with the CCCC idea? Just curious, I still say lol, 25 days of christmas carol is rollin' around in my head.
