Level Tuning But what if your opponent or you have an face-up level 2 Synchro monster and use two "Level Tuning" cards? Would it destroy it, by stating b/c an yugioh card don't have any levels, it can't be on the field? Just a wonder? If you only controlled the Synchro monster, you could activate the second "Level Tuning", but nothing would happen. If you controlled other monsters, their Levels would be reduced, but the Level 1 Synchro's would not for this reason. Game mechanics forbid a Level lower than 1. That's why Dark Synchros never made it into the OCG. EDIT: Good News: After maxing out my Duel Runner's acceleration, I managed to slash my lap record on a track by 10 seconds. Does anyone here have any good tips? - Only use the Level 4 and lower "GB"s.- Use "E-Hero Prisma" if needed to get out "Gyzarus".- "Double Summon", "Ultimate Offering" and "Double Tag Team" are vital.- Disregard all the "GB" Equip Spells, except "GB Battle Archfiend Shield"- "Waboku" is an essential.- Try to limit yourself to two of each, except "Darius", since you need to keep the Deck lean.- Searchers, such as "Gold Sarcophagus" are also good.- Pack a trio of "Dark Bribes", if only to stop the "Divine Wraths" your opponent has. - Alternatively, search for and use "Royal Decree", although that does paralyse some "GB" support cards.- Draw power is essential if you get a dead opening hand, so pack "Magical Mallet" or "Hand Destruction". Afraid not, since I've never used either of those Deck types, let alone a combination. I'm currently focussed on trying to make my "Synchro Trinity" Deck that little bit better, but I'm not sure how to do it. Max Darkness Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 Well, I really want a good Monarch Deck that uses Synchros. Any tips on how I do that? Level 6 Synchros, like "Goyo Guardian", "Brionac", "Gaia Knight" and "Naturia Barkion" that rely on Synchro Materials like a trio of "Psychic Commanders (Summoned by "Emergency Teleport"), "Spell Striker" (easy Special Summon) and "Marauding Captain" (instant Level 5,6 or 7 Synchro, but focus on the Level 6s). Use a combination such as using "Double Summon", then Normal Summoning "Marauding Captain" to Special Summon a Level 3 Tuner (like "Tune Warrior"), Synchro Summoning one of your Level 6s, then Special Summoning "Spell Striker" with its own effect, removing "Double Summon", before Tributing it with your second Normal Summon to get the "Monarch" out. You'll be using the Synchros as your primary fire-power, with the "Monarchs" being used as a back-up, and if the Synchros get paralysed by a card effect, you can simply tribute them to summon a "Monarch". Remember to use both "Pot of Avarice" and "The Trasmigration Prophecy" to return your used monsters and Spells back to your Deck. As for Traps, you can either go with an array of negation, destruction and removal Traps, or attempt a field-wide lockdown with "Royal Decree" to protect your monsters. Max Darkness Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 I forgot to mention "Iron Chain Dragon" is a good addition to your Extra Deck if you want to put some pressure on your opponent. And if possible, save your monsters by using "Goyo Guardian" to take control of your opponent's Level 3s (or 4s if you pack some Level 7 Synchros), so you only end up sending one monster to the Graveyard for your Synchro Summon. You might also, if you're focussing on Level 3 monsters (save the "Monarchs"), put in a pair of Level 9 Synchro monsters, my choice being "XX-Saber Gottoms", because of its 3100 ATK and "Ally of Justice Field Marshall", since it can take advantage of an opponent's defensive strategy. As for the right cards, "Marauding Captain", "Spell Striker" and "Tune Warrior" are all vital, since they can be searched with "Reinforcement of the Army", and all can either Special Summon themselves or Special Summon a second monster. EDIT: "Rush Recklessly" is also good, since it can help "Goyo Guardian", "Iron Chain Dragon", "Naturia Barkion" and your "Monarchs" overpower your opponent's 3000 ATK monster, should they happen to summon one; this sort of Deck's main weakness. Red Dragon ArchfiendStardust DragonBlack rose DragonBlack Winged Dragon- Still wish they called it Black Feather DragonAncient Fairy Dragon You see, on one of my mechanics in a deck, I could make four of them come out. But to bring a fifth one out, which would be perfect for this, is to have that one card that allows you to synchro summon from your hand with its effect. But, what I'm asking is to have them all out with in two or four turns, and the ability to bring them back from the graveyard, thats what I have had been trying forever, yet it is F*ing hard to do that. I have had this ever since and those other decks I have been asking out, those were ways of geting info, idea's, to help this one deck, and I thank you all for helping me, I appreciate it. Max Darkness Posted September 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 Use an EARTH Warrior/Beast Synchro Swarm Deck; using the effects of a number of Warrior-Types to Special Summon themselves and the effects of Beast-Types to call out their kin quickly. With cards like "Marauding Captain", "Emergency Teleport", "Spell Striker" and "Quillbolt Hedgehog", it won't take long to get 4 of them out. The only problem is waiting for "Eccentric Boy" to use its effect. And when I read your post, I mis-read it, thinking you wanted to be able to get them all out in one turn, for the ultimate Signer Dragon OTK. So I spent five minutes working out which exact cards you could use to Synchro Summon 5 Level 7s and 8s all in one turn. And it's so scripted, it seems like an anime episode or a duel puzzle from the games. What needs to have happened the turn before is that your opponent needs to have either Flip Summoned "Morphing Jar" or by some way you need to have 5 cards in your hand. So, to get the five Signer Dragons out in one turn, it goes a little something like this: Hand: "Marauding Captain" x 2, "Tune Warrior", "Spell Striker", A Level 3 Tuner (e.g. "X-Saber Airbellum") Field: "Ultimate Offering" (face-down), "Call of the Haunted" (face-down), "Emergency Teleport", "Burial from a Different Dimension". Graveyard: "Quillbolt Hedgehog" x 3, "Egotistical Ape" among others. Life Points: 1100 or more. Draws: "Pot of Avarice" Normal Summon "Marauding Captain", who Special Summons "Tune Warrior". "Quillbolt #1" activates, Special Summoning itself. Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend". Activate "Emergency Teleport", Special Summoning "Psychic Commander". Special Summon "Spell Striker" by removing "Emergency Teleport". "Quillbolt #2" activates. Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon". Activate "Ultimate Offering", paying 500 Life Points to Normal Summon "Marauding Captain", who Special Summons "X-Saber Airbellum". "Quillbolt #3" activates. Synchro Summon "Black-Winged Dragon". Activate "Burial from a Different Dimension", returning all three "Quillbolts" to your Graveyard. Activate "Call of the Haunted", Special Summoning "Egotistical Ape". "Quillbolt #1" activates. Synchro Summon "Ancient Fairy Dragon". Activate "Pot of Avarice", returning both "Marauding Captains", "Tune Warrior", "Psychic Commander" and "Spell Striker" to your Deck. You draw "Eccentric Boy" and a Level 4 non-Tuner (e.g. "XX-Saber Garsem"). Pay 500 Life Points to Normal Summon "Eccentric Boy" and use its effect to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon". Job done.
