Newb Defense League III [locked because remake]

Well, I got to go again, darn it, but anyhow, While I'm gone, could anyone lead me to how to get interested in building a yugioh deck, I just get bored building failures, but bored of building decks that are close to teir 1 or any teir decks and yet they still lose, so i was wondering what I do wrong? Hmm....

 

Any ideas, I'd appreciate it, some of my friends are interested in dueling me, yet I just figure screw it, I have failed over and over, but I still try b/c I do so, so I'm in the stage of mind where I'm virtually lost, if you want call it. So, in other words, I'm in a struggle of trying to get myself to play yugioh yet I don't feel like it, or feel like building a deck, so that is why I am asking for your help in building one.

 

Preferred cards, all female cards, bird, beast, warrior and etc. That are females, b/c I have 1000 cards that a are female, most fairies...So any idea's?

I've just read a Deck recipe based purely on Level 3 EARTH monsters, designed to get Level 6 and Level 9 Synchros out. It's a really simple idea, since it naturally lends itself to the Level 9 Synchros' '1 Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner' summoning conditions. I think I might make it up in "Reverse of Arcadia" just to give it a go.

This card cannot be destroyed by battle (Battle Damage applied normally). If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of "Dark Lord LV5", all monsters that your opponent controls are treated as Normal Monsters with their effects are negated. During your next Standby Phase after this card has negated your opponent's card effect, by sending this card to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Dark Lord LV9" from your hand or Deck.

 

This is my attempt to try and screw the cards themselves. Hope you enjoy it.

@Striker: Thats actually not bad Striker...7/10...good job, from me, but I'm sure I am missing the OCG Errors which i really generally don't care about anymore...

 

@Max: Oops, I meant to say most warriors and fairies, but only about 100 of each type...and they are mainly Archetype monsters, but they are female, like the Ice barriers, and Harpie Ladies and etc.. Maybe do like you said, I do have about 30 fairies, I think...The problem is that all my spell and traps are like dark hole, heavy storm, and all the old cards.. Thats all...

 

@Anyone: Well, Thanks for trying to help, I know I'm picky and that might be my problem, maybe I should just not play and just collect...Who knows, I did love my quillbolt deck though, but the banned them, I'm sure of it.

@ Striker: It's rather like a counterpart to "Angel O7". That stops effects from being activated, while this negates them.

 

@ Ursus: So far, it's going well. The first time I gave it a run, it managed to summon out a 5100 ATK "XX-Saber Gottoms", and afterwards it's managed to overpower all of the AI Decks it's faced. Defeats-wise, a "Lightsworn" and my own "Glad Beasts" and "Counter Fairies" Decks are the trio that have stopped it, mainly due to the incredible beat-down element they have.

Oh, I see... I am thinking of an Archetype, but not sure how its going to work so well...I guess try and see...

 

I got an archetype going, they basically destroy themselves to bring out two "Ciel" monsters or have other beneficial efffects after bringing them out by removing from play 1 "Ciel" or lv1 or lv12 monster that has been destroyed by battle that turn. So, far its working, and getting confusing. But the Archetype's trump card is a surprise...

*You can pay Life Points equal to the Level of this monster x 100 to have this card be treated as a Normal Monster.

A little more screwing with cards. This time, Vanillas become Effect Monsters.

It still has problems against a few types of Decks, especially ones that can call out 3000 ATK + monsters, since my Synchros aren't able to overpower them. That's why both "Waboku" and ""Rush Recklessly" are in there; and "Gaia Power" helps. The reason I have both a selection of Traps and "Royal Decree" is because when I relied solely on "Royal Decree", I was very vulnerable before it came to my hand. So I have the other Traps in case of "Royal Decree's" destruction or if it simply doesn't come.

 

As I've said, it isn't brilliant. "Bottomless Trap Hole", "Divine Wrath" and any Special Summon-lockdown will destroy it with ease. However, as a beginner's Synchro Deck, it's not half bad, since it does allow rapid swarming and decent beatdown (like the "Machina Mayhem" Structure Deck), so with a few changes, it could easily become a Structure or Starter Deck ("Structure Deck: Synchro Trinity" sounds good).
