@ Wham: Slowly. I've been lacking ideas recently.

@ Anyone: Well, it certainly isn't looking up for YuGiOh... Not only have we got the "Dragons Collide" Structure Deck coming, and the "Hieroglyph" dragons; but they've released some of the less-recent anime cards. Like "ESPer Star Robin"... And "Tinplate Goldfish", which gives WATER and Machine Decks a from-hand swarmer. Oh, and this http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Sophia_the_Creator. Joy...

You spot no sarcasm. Just genuine happiness. I've missed you all. Hows the card making going?

Then I'd really need to get my meter fixed.

Anywho, th card making is going absolutely horrid. I can't seem to get myself working on the cards and I don't have any Ideas for new ones.

Why do they release the most OP cards from the frkng series!? And I hope that 'Sophias' effect means you need to banish 1 Ritual, 1 Synchro, 1 Fusion and 1 Exceed otherwise I smell the newest staple.

Because they are devoid of original ideas?

"Sophia" requires one of each, which means it's next to useless.

Thank Wodan, I almost thought Konami released the most Broken card ever.

Well the card itself and the symbolic meaning behind it are quite awesome though.

It still wouldn't have been brilliant, since it bani-nukes everything, including itself. The only way to profit from it would be some of the "D.D." monsters, and "Verz Thanatos".

Sophia is the sign that Konami are hiring some real idiots nowadays...

Oh yeah, and these:

While face-up on the field and in the banished pile: This card is treated as a Normal Monster. While face-up on the field: You can banish this card until your next Standby Phase. When this card returns to the field by it's own effect; It is treated as an Effect Monster with the following effect:

•Once per turn: You can target Spell or Trap Card on the field. If it is face-down: Flip it face-up. Apply 1 of the following effects depending on the type of card:

•Spell Card: Check the top 3 cards in your deck; Banish 1 card, then return the rest to the bottom of the deck. During your next turn: Add the banished card to your hand.

Trap Card: Banish the target.

Add 1 of your banished Psychic-type Normal Monsters to your hand. If the targeted monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard: You can banish both cards; Draw 2 cards. If you activate this effect: During your next Standby Phase: Return 2 cards from your hand to your deck.

Need some OCG on Memory Calligraphy. The bolded part was supposed to banish both the Spell (after activation) and the monster, but I couldn't figure out how to word that...

I don't like the easy-banish of your opponent's Traps (since I'm still living in the pre-2011 banlist Yugioh). That's my only problem with the monster.

As for the Spell, were you going for 'If the returned monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card and that monster; Draw 2 cards.'? Also, I would force you to return two cards from either your hand or field, since it's a cheap pair of draws in a bani-Psychic Deck.

Actually it banishes everything except itself. Making it basicly an 1 turn bani-'Chaos Emperor Dragon'.

Indeed.

I'm thinking of making a second 100-card set, because then I don't need to make too many cards per archetype, and I can add some of my singles to it.

It's what I ussually do. Well my last one I finished (and my only one tbh) was only 98 cards, but you get the point.

Well, my current set consist partially out of revamped contest cards, made so that they would actually be (somewhat) usefull.

At the moment, my set includes Normal support, my "Malevolent" Death Summon archetype, some of my "Scarlet Geminis", some "Tsunae" Unions, Burn support, "Umi" support, some three-card mini-archetypes, some Death Summon Extra Deck cards, and several slightly odd singles.

^ A strange mix you'll agree.

I'll take your word for it. My main problem is that because I include Rituals, Fusions, Synchros and Xyzs; my 'Extra Deck Monsters' section is often huge compared to real sets, meaning I have to cut down the other sections to squeeze it in.

Ooh, so you use the actual ratios. I never do that. I just add the cards I want to add to them.

I design them as 'boosters', so I run with 30-odd Main Deck Monsters, about a dozen Extra Deck Monsters, then a roughly equal number of Spells and Traps, depending on how many I have of each. In my current set, I have rather more Spells than Traps, so they'll probably only be about 10 or 12 Traps compared to almost 20 Spells.

In other news though, I've got a new laptop!
