^This be easier. My video, contains (old) team, nature, moveset and held item. No EVs or stats, because I suck at that.

So if that's your old team, what's changed since then? Also, why does your Boldore know Flash Cannon?

[spoiler=Me Comparing]

We seem to use a large number of the tropes when it comes to team building.

Starter

Marc Lax / Mystic Water 1 / Waterfall 2, Surf 2, Ice Beam 3, X-Scissor 4

Samurott Mild / Mystic Water 1 / Scald 2, Ice Beam 3, Aqua Tail 2, Aerial Ace 4

Airborne 5

Eirin Calm / Amulet Coin / Fly, Facade, Aerial Ace, Feather Dance

Sigilyph Hardy / Life Orb / Psychic, Charge Beam, Ice Beam, Air Slash

Heavy Hitter

Abigail Sassy / Leftovers / Overheat 6, Flamethrower 6, Crunch, Dig

Chandelure Modest / Razor Claw / Flamethrower 6, Shadow Ball 6, Psychic, Energy Ball

CannonWall

Doctor Who Hardy / Expert Belt 7 / Flash Cannon, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Headbutt

Bisharp Hasty / Muscle Band 7 / Iron Head, Brick Break, Night Slash, Aerial Ace

New-Age Bug

Alexis Naughty / Lax Incense / Solar Beam 4, Heat Wave, Bug Buzz, Psychic

Galvantula Naive / Expert Belt / Thunder, Bug Buzz, Faint Attack, Energy Ball 4

Physical Attacker

Cirno Timid / Black Belt 7 / Grass Knot 4, Strength 3, Stone Edge, Superpower 4

Haxorus Jolly / Muscle Band 7 / Dragon Claw 4, Assurance, Brick Break 3, Aerial Ace 4

Observations

1. Both choosing the same starter, we both clearly put the Mystic Water to use in the same function; powering up our only competant early-game Special attacker. And since we've not found a better item to replace it with, it's stayed there until the end-game.

2. This is an interesting note, obviously derived from our two Pokemons' natures. With my own's Mild nature, I was able to sacrifice raw power to make Scald a potent-enough move (so I could use its condition-inflict-chance) without having to resort to Surf, the traditional high-power Water-Type move. Another curious parallel is that in both cases, we chose our more powerful moves knowing they had a degree of risk; Aqua Tail is 90% accuracy, and Surf can punish your allies.

3. This is a recurring note; we seem to have a similar attitude to TM/HM moves. We go for sweeper moves, capable of wiping out large numbers of Types, though not specifically those the Pokemon in question is weak to. In our Samurotts' case, Ice Beam is a standard addition for Water-Types, given its high power, and their weakness to Grass-Types. In Cirno and Haxorus' case, you've gone for a standard Physical move that can damage most Types, while I sacrificed some power and matchups to give myself the chance of a Supereffective hit.

4. This is something that caught my eye in all three cases (Marc and Samurott; Alexis and Galvantula; Cirno and Haxorus). Regarding weakness-covering moves, you go for outright power, while I choose moves that are more reliable. You use X-Scissor for defeating Grass-Types, and anything that would resist Water or Ice-Type moves, while I use Aerial Ace, which is only 75% as powerful, but will almost always hit. A similar pair is noticed between Solarbeam and Energy Ball. Again, I use a move that is 66% comparable strength, but doesn't require charging, and can lower an opponent's stat.

In the third case, it's two-fold. For general use, you chose Grass Knot which has the potential to cause more damage, but relies on Cirno's questionable Sp.Atk stat and might not do much damage in more cases, while I went with Aerial Ace as before (less powerful, more reliable). And as for their attacking moves, the pattern is still there. I've chosen a powerful, but not 100+ Power move, while you chose the most powerful Fighting-Type move, despite its stat-reducing effect. It's clearly a difference in our outlook to battling; You want to strike before they get a chance to defend, and I want to the chance to strike once they've defended themselves.

5. The fact that our two choices for Flying-Types have no common ground interests me greatly. As does your choice of Maractus. I did have an Unfeazant, but it was replaced by Sigilyph. That fact you didn't change yours indicates you were satisfied with it, while I desired a Special attacker, and Sigilyph happened to be a Flying-Type as well. My note on Maractus is because when considering non-evolving Pokemon, Sawk and Sigilyph came first, due to their high stats, good typing, and useful movesets. Maractus had none of that, so I'm intregied as to why you bothered with it.

6. Another parallel. For our heavy-hitting Pokemon, we've dedicated half their moveset to STAB moves, while making the other two moves as varied as possible. In your case, you've chosen both a standard-use move, and a full-out, self-harming move. I, as before, used two lower-power, but less detrimental attacks.

7. I'm noting this because in the first case (Doctor Who and Bisharp), it seems you have chosen the more tactical option, hoping to boost your moves' effectiveness to counter Boldure's stats, while I've gone for brute strength, relying on Bisharp's ATK. In the second case (Cirno and Haxorus), the pattern appears to return: You've chosen to empower only Superpower, while I use the held item to strengthen the lower base Power of my moves to do more damage over all.

Old team in the sense that I have another one in a new save file. I probably shouldn't have, because they became like 90+. I don't have my DS now, so I can't check my new team.

As to why my Boldore had Flash Cannon, it was most likely to cover for something. I don't remember really. I do remember using that Water/Ground frog thing that I find better than Boldore when it comes to Ground moves.

I see. To be fair, half my team (Bisharp, Chandelure and Galvantula) were all five through seven-badge additions since I wasn't able to get hold of them beforehand.

Hey guys :3

Hey.

Right...Single Train [Complete], Double Train [Complete], Super Single Train [168/203 battles], Super Double Train [Complete]. I hope I never have to think about that damn facility after today...

That's actually quite an impressive feat. I kinda stopped trying to do the Train for a while after I (litterally) lost to crits (7 to be precise) while even my Pkmn with high Spd (Serperior) was outsped by the plainest of Pkmn... They cheat, I'm shure of it.

Now I'm trying to grind my Pkmn in SS (which I restarted a while ago) to a lvl in which they would be able to beat Red.

I believe most, if not all, have perfect IVs (like Cynthia's Pokemon) and beneficial natures. And very, very annoying movesets.

And all you get is a pair of Berries...

So, now I'm trying to find all the Pokemon I can in Black.

I don't want to restart my HG, since I have 483 on the Pokedex (no cheats)...

And the Gems (Acrobatics + Flying Gem (+ Unburden) = Profit).

But yeah, it's quite unfair. And even more unfair that you need to buys some TM's with BP.

I only had like 100ish in my Dex and a underlvld team in my SS before I restarted it. And that's also impressive.

It's the lack of BP that's the main annoyance. Once you hit 10 BP/7 Battles, it stops increasing. Which means that once you get to 200+ battles, you've only got about that many BP. Which seems like a rip-off when I had to face three consecutive teams of legendaries...

Lots of trading and Dongling. (Oh, and my then-decision to not get Gen V; so I focussed on getting everything in Gen IV)

Currently looking for new images for cards.

True, you should've gotten a lot more then that for beating frkng Legends!

Well I do have Shaimin in my Dex in Diamond, so I'm close to it being complete. But I missed some key legends unfortunatly (Darkrai D: & Arceus).

I haven't really been busy with cardmaking lately (I blame school and my enormous 'To Watch' list). So I can't really help you with that as I haven't been searching for new pics in quite a while.

I've got back in the card-making mood since I went to the Order of Chaos event.

Eh, I wish we had such promotions here. But I think I've gotten out of card-making (not that I totaly stopped) because the bus route I take to my school's new location doesn't drives by the ONLY shop in the province I can buy my cards from.

That and my enormous 'to watch' list.

For me, it's more seeing how Konami continues to ruin its own game.

Also, I have a couple of cards; the second of which sounds like it's worded wrongly.

I like the 1st one and the 2nd one's ok aswell.

But I would reword the first part as: "Until the 4th End Phase after this card's activation:..."

Second would most likely be "During the 2nd End Phase after this card's activation". There is no real reason to have it specified as the non-turn player.

I'll go with 'Until your second End Phase after this card's activation...'.

Seems like a fair trade-off.
