Newb Defense League III [locked because remake]

I see, well, that's nice to know that I can abuse them, thanks......and I think you mean Ranks.....

And 2 cards only to exist for each other, well, kinda hard to beat one person with just 2 cards, but I understand, as I have a Spell card that goes with both of them and allows you to split them up I beleive....

The whole idea of MFC was to build a Deck of Union Monsters, hoping to get at least one pair in your opening hand.

And "Combination Attack" (the Spell you're thinking of) is best used with the "XYZ" archetype, since they all have sizeable ATK, so can be used to clear a packed field or simply deal a large amount of direct damage.

@Max: Yea, combination attack was the card... Well, anyhow, I'm trying to break the boundaries of level 1, is to overpowered still given the harsh requirements? Breaking the level 1 Boundaries.

I don't understand why it needs to be Level 1, given that its fusion requirements would point to a more logical Level 6, or more likely, 8.

Also, thoughts on a different form of control card:

1zcjtab.jpg

Effect: Activate only during your opponent's turn. Take control of 1 monster your opponent controls. It cannot be applied for other card effects.

Meh, I gues I'm the closest thing to a RPer here as far as I know of at least.

So what's that oppertunity you're talking about Mr.WHAM?

I made a pokemon RP For the years. As for as card, I have stopped making up monsters. But i have a bunch of monster ideas. But i have an iea bout a set that rolls dies & uses ttributes to negate attacks & mill.

Okay. Can I get your opinions on this pair of Fairy-Types?

2yobfi1.png

Effect: When this card is Gemini Summoned: You can select 1 Level 4 or lower Gemini Monster in your Graveyard that was destroyed by battle or a card effect; Special Summon it in Attack Position. During your Main Phase, except during the turn this card was Gemini Summoned: You can Tribute this face-up card; Special Summon 1 "Phoenix Seraph" from your hand or Deck.

2j3m937.png

Effect: This card is treated as a Normal Monster while in your hand. Must be equipped to a Normal Monster. The equipped monster gains the following effect: * Once per turn, you can select 1 Normal Monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Deck whose Level is less than or equal to half the selected monster's. The Special Summoned monster is destroyed at the end of this turn.

1st of all. yay, for using my images.

Phoenix Cherub: Mhh, I'm a bit worried about the effect that returns a Gemini to the field. But other then that it seems like a ballanced card.

Synthetic Witcher: I quite like it. This combined with BEWD in the Grave allows easy Lvl 4 Vanilla Spam. Which can be quite handy. Expecially with those 'fake' Vanilla's you made earlier.

Mhh, it seems quite abusable with Tuner Synchros seeing as you no longer need 'Synchro Material' to steal your opponent's monsters anymore. Just activate this, Synchro and blast your opponent away.

Mhh, I might check it out.

Phoenix Cherub: My argument would be that it is Level 3 and 1200 ATK, which is difficult for Gemini Decks to use, since they need to maintain high-ATK monsters to keep field control. And it can only revive Geminis that were destroyed, not ones that were fused for "Raptinus", synched for "Brutdrago" or otherwise discarded or sent. That's how I see it being balanced.

Synthetic Witcher: Glad you like.

Remember, Synching during your opponent's turn is a card effect, whether it be Monster or Trap. And since this prevents the stolen monster from being applied for those effects, they don't see it on the field. And so it can't be used for cards like "Formula Synchron" or "Battle Tuned".

I gues you're right, as I'm not too familiar with Gemini Decks.

Really? I just thought it counted as a regulair Synchro. Well if it counts as an effect I gues it's ballanced.

It's like "Magical Reflect Slime". It's a good effect, but it's too weak to stay on the field long enough for Geminis to use. (They don't like having less than 1500 ATK)

It's as much a regular Synchro as "Urgent Tuning" is. ie, a normal Synchro Summon powered by an effect, meaning the effect has to register the monsters that would be used in it.

Ah, that makes sence.

I've decided to rewatch the first episodes of 5Ds, and it's put me in the thought of expanding the anime biography of Kieran (the WC09 protagonist and false Signer). At the moment, it follows the game up until the pipeline. As in, Yusei goes to the city around the time he is found by Rally, and after gathering parts to build your Duel Runner, you need to defeat a gang of thugs who take Yusei's friends hostage.

After that, it changes, since I have Kieran dueling Ushio in the pipeline, like Yusei, and when he arrives in the city to a Security cordon, his latent Signer powers flare and he blasts his way through. Two Securities pursue and duel him, but he wins and abandons his duel runner in a scrapyard to throw them off his tail. (ie he never gets arrested, marked, has to duel for his freedom or steal his duel runner and D-Wheel back, since that of course is a direct copy of Yusei)

From there, he wanders the Daimon Area, until he encounters Aki (still the Black Rose Witch). During the duel, both their marks flare up, causing Aki to flee as Kieran lands the finishing blow. He then finds out that Jack Atlas has a mark similar to his (haven't quite worked out how yet) and thus challenges him to a duel. Just before however, he is dragged into the blood ritual in which he faces Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta. He survives, but it exhausted and thus loses his duel with Jack easily.

During the Dark Signer arc, he runs to the mountains, knowing that this is what Godwin had attempted to command, and knowing too that it would end in disaster. By the WRGP arc, he is building a reputation as the King of Games on the mountains, which attracts Jack to incite a rematch.

(There is also a part about why he escaped compared to the other clones that I am still working on.)

Mhh, sounds better then the original tbh. I'm shure that when you've fully worked out the details. It'll finally do him justice.

@Max: Well, to given to understanding things, it meant to be level 1 so it can be brought out easier and be abused by level eater, and have a massive beatstick card....Of course I should make it a gemini.....hmm.......

How does a Fusion Monster being Level 1 help be got out any more easily? The only thing I can think of is with "Instant Fusion", but it can't attack during that turn and is destroyed during the End Phase. And in a Synchro/Exceed Deck, that will be used for getting fodder onto the field, not for summoning a pseudo-trump. What does "Level Eater" have to do with it?

Well, I'm going to have other level 1 cards that all aid eachother, and I'm not sure why I said level eater, maybe not thinking about t. I'm going to be thinking of a level 1 ritual, level 1 monster, and so on......So, I guess come back when I'm done, but its all supposed to be level 1 just b/c I want powerhouse level 1 monsters, even thought the req. are harsh.....

I recently watched epp 18 of Zexal, and though the duels are starting to become less newbish. I must say that quite some OP cards have apeared in it. Like 'Dance of Forbidden Summon' which is basicly an anti-Normal Summon version of 'Cold Wave. 'Chaos Number: Utopia Ray' is sorta OP. Seeing as it actually gives an use for 'Utopia' it could be considered ballanced. But I don't like it. It's like an Accel Xyz.

Most of the current Meta seems infincable imo. But for exact Deck lists you need to ask Max. As I don't use Tier 2 or higher Decks beside 'Glads' and 'FabledWorld's.

I hardly know anything about making decks but I recently started playing tag force 3 again and managed to make stall deck. ( with the help of Max )
