@Xand: I'm just curious and if you don't want to say, its fine... Why did you join this site if you weren't going to take critiquing seriously? I've learned that and I accept it now, so I'm just wondering, is it b/c you wanted to make cards and print them or what?

Personally, with all the things people can do on this site and their talents, I'm personally liking this site.

Have you ever done anything just for the hell of it? But you wanted a second opinion or some open suggestions? Well thats what im looking for...I don't want people to just be judges on what they see...that would be very dull indeed...and its not like i have to abide to everything someone tells me to since im the creator not joe blow or shnaty smith....XD

I enjoy this site as much as you do...^^

Well, first, I was kinda being rude, sorry bout that...

Second, when I see comments like this....

"*sigh* alright i may or maynot change it tomorrow..."

[spoiler=Really Long, was unintentional]

It usually means the person won't; not saying you wouldn't take the easy step of changing it. Then you obviously asked and lets say you chose not to take the idea's and leave it be, post it, and wonder why the scoring is docked from the post or why people won't post there.

I preferably try and use Max Darkness' Effect Fix, I may change it a bit to more to my liking, but that's all preference. But you see the really long effect fix back there I asked for, well, Max did it and Max was probably happy after finding out he could do it. It must of took him awhile to do so, even if it didn't, it takes a person's time and relaxation up. Well, IMO a person like that should be rewarded, even though he don't care about points and reps as they seem useless, but still, I give it to Max b/c I actually care that Max helps me, whether or not its wrong or won't work.

So, all I am saying, whether a person does it or not, if they do, you should so some respect or they might not fix it anymore b/c they don't get anything in return. Would you go to work for a day and found out you didn't get payed for that day, would you go back if you found out they won't pay you? Its just a simple sign of respect throughout people on the forum, b/c its not just some random dude across the interent, its people like you and I that may have to work everyday and etc.

Now, again, I'm not saying your the type that would ask for help, don't like it, then run off and post your card to get crude comments....

If you want Opinions or Suggestions, say that, don't say effect fix or something along the lines, b/c then it deals with the effect. But of all the posts I've seen you make so far, you've always not liked the opinions or the fixes, why not, they are correct....

All in all, be more specific is all I'm trying to say.....even though they teach you to broaden your horizon in grade school, high school becomes more detailed, more specific, what was the color of the bush, then College wants both.....

Sorry if it all seems rude, but apparently no matter who I speak with, I end up sounding that way.....

That completely sums up what I was thinking, White!

@Daemon: Wow, you read it, that's a first, I might need to be more careful....But okay, thanks....I try to make sense and logic but it usually fails...That's why my friends like me, I always make no-sense and ends up being funny....

My personality test claims I am INTP but I use to be an EITP...

I posted this:

[spoiler=Something for Lex]The 'Pristine' Archetype

Effect: This card is always treated as a Normal Monster, and not as an Effect Monster. If you do not control another non-"Pristine" Level 2 or lower Normal Monster, destroy this card. You can Tribute this card to Special Summon up to 2 Level 2 or Normal Monsters from your Deck.

If a Level 2 or lower Normal Monster you control is destroyed by battle with a Level 7 or higher monster, you can return that monster to its owner's Deck. During the next Standby Phase, place the returned monster in your opponent's Deck on the field.

Effect: This card is always treated as a Normal Monster, and not as an Effect Monster. If you do not control another non-"Pristine" Level 2 or lower Normal Monster, destroy this card. During either player's turn, if a Level 2 or lower Normal Monster you control would be destroyed by an opponent's card effect OR destroyed by battle, you can discard this card in your hand instead.

Effect: 2 Level 2 or lower Normal Monsters

This card is always treated as a Normal Monster, and not as an Effect Monster. While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select another Level 2 or lower Normal Monster you control as an attack target. Once per turn, if a Level 2 or lower Normal Monster attacks directly, you can double any Battle Damage it inflicts.

This card is always treated as a Normal Monster, and not as an Effect Monster. While this card is face-up on the field, Level 2 or lower Normal Monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, you can discard 1 Level 2 or lower Normal Monster to select 1 Level 2 or lower Normal Monster you control. It can attack your opponent directly this turn.

@Max: Ooh, are these because of all the support for lvl 2 and lower Normal Monsters Konami made?

Anywho, I'm not shure how they can activate thier effects if they are treated as Normal Monsters, wouldn't it be something like the Gemini's then?

Anyway, if they do work without somekind of outside help, I quite like them. They are quite KAWAI X3 as the Japanese/anime-fans would say.

@5D's: That's kinda shortsighted.

Yeah. Since you said you would have liked an extension of their support; here you go(!)

They can activate, since they have effects. But their first effect means that all other cards, including other "Pristine" cards, see them as Normal Monsters, and not as Effect Monsters. As such, if they activate, Traps that specifically counter 'Effect Monster effects' cannot trigger, since to them, it's a Normal Monster activating. (So little bit of subtle anti-meta thrown in for free there...)

Lol. Yeah, you don't want to get beat by your own creations.

Exactly.

I've discovered that these Effect Monsters that don't treat themselves as Effect Monsters also bypass "Skill Drain"... This deserves some investigation.

Max, you are somewhat creepy. But you mind works amazingly for yugioh.

My mind works in a round-about way, hence my slightly 'different' stance at looking at things.
