Max, I need your help. i remember you made an amazing Fairy deck. So i've come to you.

I'm in a sort of yugioh team with my friends, we're currently named Noir Dynasty( we change names often)

but I rememberd how you made 2 crazy fairy decks. I believe one was counter fairies and the other was a gain variation of that.

I want to run my one counter fairy deck, cept i'm gunna add a Jinzo or sorceror of dark magic.

basically a counter fairy control deck. monster effects & negations.

i dont care if i can synch.

But any help would be appreciated.

and i know tghe Jinzo is random and possibly a bad i dea but i'd have it there w/ amplifier or for stalling.

also i want to tell you guys a fusion deck I've built. its...fun. uses rainbow neos.

but other than that,

HOW ARE YOU NDLITES!!!!

"Jinzo" only hurts a "Counter Fairy" strategy, even with "Amplifier". It takes up a S/T Zone, and if your opponent "MSTs" it, your Deck falls apart.

My current Counter Fairy Deck:

Monsters (16):

Bountiful Artemis x 3

Honest x 2

Majestic Mech - Ohka

Master Hyperion

Meltiel, Sage of the Sky x 2

Radiant Jeral

The Agent of Miracles - Jupiter

The Agent of Mystery - Earth x 2

Trust Guardian x 2

Zeradias, Herald of Heaven

Spells (13):

Celestial Transformation x 2

Field Barrier

Mind Control

Monster Reborn

Mystical Space Typhoon

Nobleman of Crossout

Smashing Ground

Terraforming

The Sanctuary in the Sky x 2

Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen

Traps (17):

Call of the Haunted

Dark Bribe

Destruct Potion

Draining Shield x 2

Drastic Drop-Off

Divine Punishment

Forced Back x 2

Mirror Force

Negate Attack x 3

Seven Tools of the Bandit x 2

Solemn Judgment

Solemn Warning

Extra Deck (>9):

Ancient Fairy Dragon

Ancient Sacred Wvyern x 2

Avenging Knight Parshath x 2

Crimson Mefist x 2

Lightning Warrior x 2

Lv. 6-8 Synchro Staples

thanks.

and i would completely agree that jinzo hurts a counter fairy deck.

i'm probably going to run a Van' & Divine wrath, which isn't hard cause i can get both.

and it looks like i'll be needing lost sanctuary.

there were other fairy cards to have but the deck looks solid...i'll be back later wit my Gen2 fusion decklist...

@Lexadin: Lets say it wouldn't even be worth it for me to fight Yuma, and even if I did, I'd use an highlander deck as that's what I have been doing lately. But anyhow, the deck I'm building I'm waiting on one more deck list to try and get it finished. I'm going to be researching the cards and effects of these decks in my head to see.

@Max: Even though you don't like to but I was wondering if you could build me Jadens Deck off the show, like a highlander version of it. Every card he used or similiar to the ones he used. If you do not, its fine, but I'm not actually going to be using them, I'm researching.

I don't know what you mean by a 'Highlander' version, considering the "Evil HERO" monsters are too high-Level for "Dark Highlander", and they have no Tuners.

Oh really? What did they predict then?

A lot of cards from 'Pharaonic Guardian' and 'Ancient Sanctuary' predicted a type of Deck that relied solely on Level 2 and lower Normals, usually attacking directly and stalling to prevent their destruction. "Buster Rancher" also predicted a split in which Level 2 Decks would be countered by high-ATK, high-Level Decks.

Later, RFP burn was seen as a possible future strategy, with "Fire Princess" and "Lady Assailant of Flames" released a set after "Des Counterblow" (which destroys any monster that attacks directly; a counter to the earlier predicted strategy). Note that they were both Flip Effect monsters, which again suggests they thought that sort of Effect Monsters would have a revival.

Continuing the tradition of predicting a never-realised meta (like "Mirror of Oaths", released to stop "Tele-DAD" Decks, but beaten to the punch by the Ban-List), there were a couple of "Royal" and "Imperial"-related cards that negated Flip Effects and Equip Spell Cards that never saw use.

An interesting selection of occurences.

I do wish they continued the lvl 2 & lower Normal Monster set of cards, it would be very interesting to see them being used.

But yes, it is intersting to see them guys wrongly. And now I think they don't even try to counter todays meta's.

They got a little revival with "A Major Upset" and "Justi-Break", but that was it. And they would have use today for low Level Synchro and Exceed Summoning.

They wait for people to completely abuse the meta, then wait two sets to introduce a Secret Rare counter card, and three banlists to Limit the offending cards, before Unlimiting them again.

Darn! I forgot about Synchro's and Xyz's (oh blissfull unawairness). Darn, why do they always have to ruin things?

Seems kinda pointless to me.

I'm still waiting for Rock monsters that don't just bounce and burn.

Exactly!

On the subject of older cards, "Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler" is one I expected to see some use now that Fiends are coming back.

And "Steelswarm". Synchro Fiends especially since their Levels are exact, so easy revival of Synchros used as stepping stones to higher Levels. And removing two Level 4s to get a Level 8 out of it is generally a good thing.

Hey Max Darkness i think they messed up big time for Shooting Star Dragon...Required cards are Stardust and Formula Synchron in real life but in the show you have to use 1 Level one tuner + 1 level one non-tuner + Stardust dragon on your opponents turn...Well i dont have Formula Synchron but i have Stardust and Shooting Star Dragon....See my problem here? XD

@Max Darkness

(sorry for being gone so long just so much happened that i had no time for getting online PC wise. That and my DSi only goes so far on the internet....)
