Newb Defense League III [locked because remake]

But i did beat them once with an alien deck if that counts ^.^ i love my aliens they can be so cheap sometimes especially when Overload never dies.

 

Heck the game i won against sabers he had his Urbellum ram my Overload destroy both(i had 2 Code As on the field) which was useless (he played BTH Facedown) use Code A summoned up Warrior it gets BTH'd as i planned i get 2 A codes one on each Code A as an alien monster was destroyed. Summoned overlord and swung for game :D though i still lost the match

 

even irl with my thrown together alien deck thing that is crap it annoys the crap out people that duel it when i get the set up i want that makes overload always coming back xD

i just demolished this guy's deck with my aliens he gave up after my 2nd turn each duel. And also i had 2 Overlords both Duels XD

O great now we have to put titles -.- and fix'd it

 

also someone said this card was extremely OP'd and need more drawbacks though i don't see why

lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 3 WATER monsters you control. Once per turn, you can send 1 Spell or Trap card you control to the Graveyard to send all cards on the field to the Graveyard except this card. During the turn you activate this effect you cannot Summon or conduct your Battle Phase.

 

i mean seriously you have to give up Summons n Battle Phase to use its effect and it already requires 3 cards to summon

 

also just in i beat an Anti-meta deck with my aliens

1st duel was close, 2nd duel wiped him out on my 2nd turn

i blew up his opression before he got to play it

@ Whamo: The only way I've found to severly damage "X-Sabers" is to use meta against them. "Glad Beasts" and "Blackwings" can out-run them and turn their tactics against them, especially if you can keeping bouncing "Glad Beast Gyzarus" back onto the field to keep that clear, while using a pair of "Glad Beast Lash Whips" to empty their hand a little. Basically, you need to beat them down, viciously.

 

 

@ Delano: It is overpowered for one simple reason. The fuel needed for its effect. "Neo-Daedalus" requires a specific card and needs to be Summoned with a specific card. This on the other hand can be Summoned with a trio of WATER monsters, which isn't too difficult if you think about the effects of "A Leg Ocean", "Double Summon" and more importantly "Ultimate Offering" and "Inferno Reckless Summon". Both of the latter could easily get your trio of monsters out to tribute. And since it's a Special Summon, that summon could be carried out immediately.

 

So, since it's already rather easier to Summon than "Neo-Daedalus" (which I'm using for comparative reasons), that's already a slight drawback. Then the field nuke. Like I said, "Neo-Daedalus" requires "Umi" to detonate, clearing the field and each player's hands. It also of course blows up the rather important Field Spell. However, this is any Spell or Trap you control. For example, if you summon this with empty S/T Zones, just this monster on your side while your opponent has a pair of monsters and a trio of S/Ts, just Setting a Spell Card will allow you to trigger this and wipe the field clean.

 

And it doesn't matter if you can't conduct your Battle Phase, simply because you've completely emptied your opponent's field. If I, a "Counter Fairy" user where to lose "Voltanis", "Sanctuary in the Sky", "Valhalla" and "United We Stand" and a "Dark Bribe" through this card's effect, it wouldn't matter that you couldn't attack me, I would be at a complete disadvantage, since I would probably have no way to counter-attack left in my hand.

 

Its problem is that you need specific cards if you want to carry out an everything-but-me field nuke. And this is just too easy to trigger. That's why it's overpowered.

5D's Anime Update:

 

Yusei, Jack, Crow, Aki, Bruno and Team Taiyo are all morons. "Sleeping Giant Thud" is claimed to be invincible because it can't be targeted by card effects. Can't be targeted. So...any effect that doesn't target like "Mirror Force" or "Lightning Vortex" (you know, the staples) will happily obliterate the obese leviathan. Idiots, all of them.

I'm amazed. My "Gladiator Beast" Deck just got demolished...by my own "Counter Fairy" Deck! I mean, it was a total walk-over. And it wasn't as if I couldn't get my strongest cards out, I managed to summon "Gyzarus" twice, both time using its effect. But in the end, it was a "Divine Wrath" that blew "Gyzarus" sky-high, which allowed "Voltanis" to Special Summon itself, obliterating my field completely. One direct attack later, and it was over.

 

 

@ Striker: I take the fact it's Level 1 is a mistake. I don't think I would use it since "Perfect Machine King", if Summoned quickly can be a incredible beatstick (especially if comboed with "DNA Surgery"), which can then be fused with "Cyber Dragon" (and your opponent's monsters if you have "DNA Surgery") to Summon a 4000/5000 ATK "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon".

 

This card's ATK would only be a threat towards the end of a duel, and even with 15 monsters in the Grave, this will only just break 3000 ATK. Plus, a lot of DARK Machine-Type monsters don't have brilliant effects, and since you've limited to Level 4 and lower ones, the most powerful DARK Machines "Revolver Dragon" and "Blowback Dragon" can't be fused to give this card their effect. "Jinzo-Returner" might be an interesting choice, since when it's destroyed, you could get a "Jinzo" and the Level 4 or lower Machine-Type, possibly leading to a Level 8 Synchro; but it still wouldn't be worth it.

 

In short, it's difficult to summon (considering not even "Ultimate Gear Golem" Decks run "Polymerization") and its ATK and effect are not good enough to justify giving up a "Perfect Machine King". "E-Hero Prisma" might be an option, but even then, you're throwing a "PMK" to the Grave...

he kept saying he can because its a multi-ignition effect though there is not such thing <.< in the end he said he had to go despite the fact i won the 1st duel i just said this duel is invalid and told him do not report.

 

Also he was impatient heck i asked him if he wanted chain and waited he said ya done yet. And also numerous times after i done my battle phase he just went to his draw phase and drew when for all he knows i was not done <.< because i did not say i end my turn yet

"Gladiator Beasts" of course need that Main Phase 2, otherwise they are very vulnerable. And some people are just morons.

Did that GB Deck include Heraklinos? If so, then I'm impressed.

 

Yes, but "Laquri" was crushed by a "Cestus"-equipped "Zeradias" before I could contact fuse him. Basically, with "Sanctuary" on the field, and two "Zeradias" (and my "Archfiend Shield"-equipped 2100 ATK "Laquari"), he rammed "Laquari" with the first before finishing him off with the second.

 

One "Gyzarus" got "B.T.H."-ed and the third was "Divine Wrath"-ed. Only my second one actually managed to do any real damage, but I tagged that out to activate a few more effects.

Then I must say, that Counter Fairy Deck is quite impressive.

 

I agree. With me using it, it's only lost once...to a "Lightsworn" Deck. And that was only one of the three duels of the match. It didn't even lose to a "Jinzo" Deck. "Majestic Mech-Ohka" + "Cestus of Dagla" defeated "Jinzo-Lord" and then was able to be revived, giving me a quick beatstick.
