You bought the cards £40 and they can sell for nearly £450?

I'd sell them.

I probably will when I get bored of YGO. At the moment, I'm collecting them for collecting's sake; and for bragging rights. I mean, an Ultimate Rare "Draco-Equiste" from DREV for 48p, when some have bought 20 or so boosters to get one...

Where did you buy them from?

I sale or something where the person didnt know how much they where?

I bought them from Yugiohmint.com, an American website that, unlike UK sellers, bases its prices on demand. UK sellers base it on rarity. For example, in the UK, an Ultimate Rare "T.G. Blade Blaster" and "T.G. Halberd Cannon" are the same price, since they are the same rarity. However, on YGOmint, because "Halberd Cannon" is more desirable and therefore more wanted, it is $2 (25%) more expensive than the same rarity "Blade Blaster".

The extremes are such that "Formula Synchron" and "Tour Guide from the Underworld" are $12 and $48 respectively (because they are in such high demand) while the manga specials at the end of more recent boosters (Super and Secret Rare) that, while rare, have no use in the modern game, are $3 or less. Another example: "Fiendish Engine Omega" is a Secret Rare from 'The Duelist Genesis'. Amazon wants £16.91 for it, because it is a hard-to-get card. YGOmint wants $0.98 (60p), because no-one wants it.

It means that by combining Greylight for bulk buys of Commons and Rares, and YGOmint for higher rarities, I can get hold of a lot more cards than I otherwise would of, while not spending a huge amount.

Ah pretty clever of you there.

IMO If it was my website I myself would base it on if the card was wanted or not.

Indeed. But to do so, there needs to be a large, constant market. That is the case in America. Hence why I got "Dark Hunter" (Ultimate Rare) and "Divine Grace - Northwemko" (Ultra Rare) for a combined $1.76 (£1.10), despite Greylight wanting £40.32 for the pair.

Also, I don't know if you've seen this: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/251517-max-darkness-vs-mr-striker-begin-voting/ , but we need votes.

@Max: I can say that I voted.

I know you can. It was directed at Alexis, and since none of you were online, I didn't put a '@ Alexis:' bit at the start.

Now that my exams are over, I am sorting all of my YGO collection, instead of TDGS-onwards. It's a big job...

Ah, ok.

And you had somewere around 5000 cards, right? Then it's a pain.

Well, it's more like 2500 up here, since I left a lot of duplicates/triplets in tins. The main problem is that I have a lot of gaps in the older sets, because I have their "Dark Revelation" and "Dark Beginning" counterparts. And since "DR" and "DB" sets number around 250 cards, they're the time-consumers.

Otherwise, I've found that before "Force of the Breaker", all TCG boosters were only 60 cards long, compared to the 100/102 of nowadays.

Well I do know "Pharaohic Guardian" (who I think was before force of the breaker) was 102 cards long. So I don't think that's correct.

Also I made support for the cards I posted earlier and edited 1.

I'd like some oppinions on them.

When this face-up Defense Position card is targeted for an attack, equip this card to the attacking monster. The equipped monster is now treated as a "Daimonreis" monster. While this card is equipped to an opponent's monster, whenever the equipped monster declares an attack, draw 1 card.

20638t.jpg

The controller of this card selects the targets of their opponent's "Daimoreis" monsters' attacks. Your opponent cannot use "Daimoreis" monsters as Synchro Material Monsters, Fusion Material Monsters or as Xyz Material Monsters. This card cannot be banished.

You can discard this card to the Graveyard to add 1 "Laists Im Halja" from your Deck to your hand. While "Laists Im Halja" is face-up on the field, each time a "Daimoreis" monsters is send from your Spell and Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard, you can add it to your hand instead.

You're right on that, but that is because boosters from that time are reprints of two or more sets fused together. I meant the "GX"-era boosters like CDIP and EEN. And one of my bulk buys has just arrived.

"Laists Im Halja": Your opponent cannot use "Daimoreis" monsters for a Summon from their Extra Deck. Also, making so it can't be RFPed makes it a little overpowered since it + "Field Barrier" means an easy way of keeping it indefinately.

"Skohsl": When a "Daimoreis" monster is sent from your Spell & Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard, you can return it to your hand.

Mhh, perhaps a discard cost will make it more ballanced? Something like "When this card would be banished, you can discard 1 card instead."

EDIT: Also, that fix would make it so that the monsters can still be used as Material Monsters for Extra Deck monsters from other places (like your Death Synchros or "Delphic" monsters).

Ah, I'll fix.

I've only reached that time period in boosters in my archiving, so I'll discover more oddities as I go back.

Considering its effects, you might want to make it discarding a "Daimories" monster from your hand.

Yes, but they don't exist. But if you want to be pedantic: 'Your opponent cannot use "Daimories" monsters as Fusion, Synchro or Exceed Material Monsters.'

Mhh, well I think I'll keep it by regulair discarding. As the "Daimoreis" monsters aren't all that powerfull without this card.

Yes, but you'll never know. So I'll use this fix instead.

Konami is not that imaginative. The only way they'll ever make something like my cards is if I break into their factory and sabotage their production line.

Erm, no comment. Yes my and Tom's Twisted Destiny archtype.

I'll make a note. ;)

On another topic, I've found a small selection of cards in my collection that don't appear in any of my three card lists (Old Archive, Archive Mk.VI, or Set Completion List). Given that that trio of lists have been used (in various forms) since I started collecting and have always been up to date, it seems some have slipped under the radar. This...is...a...worry...
