Hello. Missed me?

I can't say that I've missed the site too much, despite missing your company.

I'm finished with my exams, but my life is still too busy for this site. I'm also a tad too old for it, I feel.

Nevertheless, I'm making the final version of the Memory Requiem set, and I'd appreciate it if you guys would comment on it as a parting gift to an old friend.

The Memory Requiem Finale

I've been doing my exams recently, so I've spent less time here, although the time I have spent here has been strangly active.

And as Joey Wheeler said: "Only adults can play a children's card game!"

I'll have a look.

Yep my B-days on Friday actually. :D

That's quite close to my 18th B-day. 2 weeks away from it to be exact.

@Alexis: Now you make me feel to old, but I guess I'm as old as some mods on here, but oh well....

Huh, didn't even know that you where over 20.

Not from my experience. 13 is old for Pokemon TCG, but not for YGO due to its higher complexity.

So true. It takes some skill to create an original and powerfull Deck.

Though it doesn't take a brain surgeon to win with a Teir 1.

And to understand the damn Battle Phase...

Two cards I've found while searching through my collection that I'm surprised aren't seen that much. "Royal Keeper", a 1600/1700 Flip Zombie; and "Invader of Darkness", a Level 8 DARK Fiend that locks your opponent's Quick-Plays.

If 13 is'nt too old for YGO what would you say would be the average age to start collecting cards and watching it?

I think I was less than 7 when I started watching it on TV.

And as for the confusing side, most parts I dont get about it and when I came on YCM I didnt know half the things people where talkign about, thats the main reason I dont go on TCG, I know nothing about the harder side of the game.

@Alexis: I would say the average time you should start playing is when you feel like it....I started when I was 15....I started here 2 yrs ago.

@Max: I need an effect fix

When this card is Normal Sumoned, apply the following effects to the appropiate level it was when Summoned:

Level 2: Destroy this card. Level 4: Increase the level of all monster cards in your opponents hand by 4 until the End Phase. Level 8: Destroy 1 card on the field.

Well "Royal Keeper" does require being flipped. Limiting its use, so that people would rather use "Paladin of the Cursed Dragon" as a Zombie Beatstick.

And "Invader of Darkness'" problem is that imo Quick-Play Spells aren't really that threatening. (Yes I know about "MST" and "Shrink".)

Personally I think I was around 10ish when I first started playing it and saw it on tv.

You started playing when you where 15? :o

Thats way to old over here.

It isn't to old In Amerika.

...

Sorry I couldn't resist seeing as White lives in the US.

@Lexadin: It is the truth, there are 40 year old people that play this game, so I can't say to much. Most of the 40 year old people are competitors usually though....

@Alexis: Hmm, well maybe you need to teach them America rocks the house in card games....lol...

Seriously, 40-year-olds? Must either be the Japanese or American.

Also seeing as I can finally upload my cards. It's an idea I'm working on for a Set, and before I continue with them I like you guys to tell your honest opp on them.

When this face-up Defense Position card is targeted for an attack, equip this card to the attacking monster. The equipped monster is now treated as a "Daimonreis" monster. You can Release the equipped monster to Special Summon 1 "Daimoreis" monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by banishing 2 "Daimoreis" monsters you control or by its own effect. The Special Summon of this card cannot be negated. When this card is Special Summoned, Spells, Traps, and Effect Monster effects cannot be activated. Lol, American isn't a language. You meant nationalities.

I'll give it to you when I've finished the set and made a thread for it. Or I can give it to you right now and you promise not to post a card with that pic till I posted my thread. Either way's fine by me.

I was meaning its original size before you put it in the card maker generator and if its that big, then I would like to have it if you don't mind, don't worry, I won't post it. If you decide to give it, Pm it so now one else takes it.

Umm.....work....fun? Only if I could find myself a job I actually liked.

1.Is'nt that just an easy way to summon a Daimoreis?

2.Nothing wrong I think.

3. "equip this card to the attacking monster. Take control of the equipped monster "

So you equip your card to it then take control of it?

Then you would have 2 cards in your spell & trap zone? ( I'm propably wrong)

4.I dont really get the idea of the whole set tbh. ( Lava golem FTW)
