Max Darkness
Extreme Victory promo event today. Pulled nothing of value. That is, until I bought some "Tactical Evolution" that was lying around, and pulled a Super Rare "Aquarian Alessa", "Blazewing Butterfly" and "Lucky Pied Piper"; and a Secret Rare "E-Hero Magma Neos". Alexis Rhodes
What happens in the sneak peak thing? Do they show you the cards and you can buy them? I've always wondered.
Max Darkness
What happens in the sneak peak thing? Do they show you the cards and you can buy them? I've always wondered. They give you five boosters to make a 20 card Deck with, along with a promo card (in this case "Reborn Tengu"). You then do a four or five round tournament using your half-Decks. The winners get extra boosters, and YuGiOh stuff. After that, everyone gets a Turbo Pack.
Alexis Rhodes
Sounds awsome. Of corse you have to pay to get in or something?
Max Darkness
Sounds awsome. Of corse you have to pay to get in or something? It's usually £20 ($33). Which is a good price for a promo card, six boosters and a Turbo Pack.
Lexadin
Y'know I wish we still would have such things in the Netherlands. *sigh* Now the closest likewise thing is in Germany and they have German cards. :(

Master White
Sorry for being inactive lately, I found out downloading is everything you do, from just looking at a page to actually downloading something permanently. Now I got to cut youtube from my e-net use and try to be on at least every 3rd day since I was last on. No guarentee's, but I want my e-net speed fast and keep it that way. So what's going on and etc.
Max Darkness
So what's going on and etc. Nothing much. Trying out a pair of Decks on WC11. Scrap/Grannel and Malefic/Grannel.
Nathanael D. Striker
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersOnce per turn, you can place 1 Lightning Counter on any monster on the field. Each monster can only have 1 Lightning Counter on it at anytime. All monsters gain 500 ATK for each counter on them. When a monster that has a Lightning Counter on it is destroyed, activate one of the following effects:*If your opponent controlled the destroyed monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's Level x100.*If you controlled the destroyed monster, discard 1 monster from your hand that has a Level equal to or greater than the Level of the destroyed monster. The effect has become very confusing to word, even for me. Could you guys help?

Master White
@Max: Well, I'm wondering some things...It deals with Ranks and levels. Synchro's uses levels and Exceeds uses Ranks. Well, I was wondering if I could make an Synchro that required an Exceed Card. Because they are ranks, I would think that means they would have no value on levels and means they would be just a card. But b/c they are a monster card, you could put it in the Summon Text, right? Well, Lets say this for instant. Level 8 Synchro. 1 level 4 Tuner monster + 1 level 4 non-Tuner monster + 1 or more Exceed monsters. So, I was thinking that the exceed would not be counted towards the level of the Synchro and no way Konami would ever do this, unless of course they did think of it. So I was just wondering, does Exceed Monsters be counted towards the Synchro monster level? I would appreciate if you could tell me and how did your decks do? I'm not making exceed monsters, I'm making my own card and it has something other then levels, so thats why I would like to know.

Since Exceed Monsters have no Level at all (not even Lv. 0), they cannot be used in any Level-based card or mechanic. ie for Synchro Summons or the Fusion Summon of "Evil Hero Malicious Fiend". "Grannel"/"Scrap" has been abandoned, in favour of a "Machine Emperor" beatdown strategy.
Master White
Well, okay, lets say an card effect did this, then could you? While this card remains face-up on the field, all Exceed Monsters Ranks on the field and in the Extra Deck become levels. That was my idea, well, was going to be my idea. I really thought the first effect would allow you to do that

I really thought the first effect would allow you to do that Ranks cannot be Levels; and Rank 3 doesn't equal Level 3. They are a completely seperate mechanic, and it is an integral part of their mechanic. It's the same reason why there is no card forcing Fusion Monsters to exist in the Deck. They can't, so such a card would never work.

Max Darkness
He guys I'm back from inactiveness, so what's new? Hi. I'm waiting for "Extreme Victory" to be officially released, so I can find the cheapest of the rarest cards. Am also playing around with perfecting my "Machine Emperor" Deck. Lexadin
@Max: It hasn't been released yet? With all of the ME's? Also that reminds me, I've bough WC11 a couple of days ago (haven't finished the story though). And I wondered what would be the best strategy to use mid game. A sneak peek usually happens a week before the set gets released. As in, all the cards I pulled from my boosters on Saturday cannot be used yet. It only has "Skiel" and the "Divine Machine Emperors" in it. "Grannel" has been released as a promo, and "Wisel" has yet to be released. About mid-game (Return to Crashtown and pre-WRGP) is where I switched from "Monarchs" to "Gladiator Beasts" since the latter have enough field clearance power. Basically anything that can stop your opponent from building field advantage. So any Tier 1 or Tier 2 Deck will do.
