Newb Defense League III [locked because remake]

Recommended Posts

@Max: So, it raises the other monsters levels to or calculator's effect just go up? I'm sure Calculator's effect has levels increased to, but I'm not sure. Funny, I buy lots of those special edition packs, and my first time buying it, I got a Ultimate Rae Psychic type monster, Hyper Psychic Blaster and second one had it again, but Ultra Rare. Well, it sounds pretty cool, I wonder if you could build a deck on it, I'd have to go get 3 of them offline though.

@Lex: Yea, understandable, well mine that I hope that works out are going to be hard to get out, and I was reading the exceeds, the materials are stacked under the card? So, does that mean actually under the card or are moved to another monster card zone.

Just its own, but remember "The Calculator's" effect raises its ATK by the combined Levels of monsters you control. "Greed Quasar" fits into the standard "Burden of the Mighty" Deck quite nicely.

Also, what would you guys say to a 10,150 ATK "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus"?

That was crazy Max, Jack and Yusei knew what eachother was going to play.

I did like seeing Yusei and Jack's alternate Synchro Monsters; although some of the lower level monsters they used were horrible.

Still no idea how to empower an Equip Card that gives 800 ATK, but forbids direct attacks...

Meh, they Synch them most of the time, so I gues that's fine.

Eh, yeah that's a though one.

Oh, wait, you want it to become more powerful, I got it.

Well, I forgot the other parts, but here is something

.....If your opponent controls 3 or more exceed monsters, you can destroy this equip spell card to destroy 1 exceed monster and its materials. Your opponent chooses. How's that, to pwerful, probably, but darn worth it.

Considering it'll be used in the 5Ds universe, that effect can be put on another card.

Exceed monsters are monsters found in the Extra Deck and have been released in japan. There is a whole place for it to read up on Wikipedia.

I can't believe it took that many episodes to figure out what I wanted to know, dang. But you know, that wasn't bed imo, I liked it, but it could have a whole lot better, bring out two new synchro monsters or something to finish it off. Oh well. I'm off for the day.

How about this for interesting: Instead of attacking it can select 1 monster on the field. Return that monster to the deck. Now your opponent must draw cards equal to tthat monsters level. If your opponent draw a monster with the same name as the returned monster, they take damage equal to the returned monsters atk when it was last on the field. Your opponene then returns the other cards to the top of his deck and the monster(s) with the same name are sent to the bottom. If the monster returns to the Extra Deck, they lose LP equal to its attack and can view the top cards equal to the level of that monster and select 3 to add to the hand. If they do not draw the monster with the same name, send all but 1 card in there hand to the graveyard.

Hows that?

And really don't know the situation...but i hope that fits

Username: Dwarven King

Why you want to join: I want to improve my card making abilities (could use a few pointers) and get better at the actual card game.

Favorite Card: Ekibyo Drakmord (spell) *drools*

Do you play the game in real life: YES! :D

How you were referred to the club: I found it while looking through the list of clubs. :3

This is the situation:

11,100 ATK "Scar-Red Nova Dragon" vs. 5400 ATK "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus"; "Daemon Blades" being equipped to "Scar-Red Nova Dragon".

But I'll play around with that effect.

Lol, how did I come up with Nails? Anyway, ah that card.

Perhaps some kind of Extra Deck Mill would work? (As secondary effect on "Blades"?)

Ooh I like!

Probably something to do with sending monsters whose ATK and/or Level are lower than the equipped monster's.

K, tell me when it's done.

And again Extra Deck Mill has saved the day!

It's ended up as this (still looking for an image):

Equip only to a Level 8 or higher DARK monster. It gains 800 ATK, and cannot attack your opponent directly. When the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, send 1 monster in your opponent's Extra Deck with a Level less than or equal to the destroyed monster's to the Graveyard. Once per duel, when you inflict damage to your opponent with a card effect, you can send 1 monster in your opponent's Extra Deck with ATK less than or equal to the damage your opponent took to the Graveyard.
