Newb Defense League III [locked because remake]

Recommended Posts

@Ah, makes sence.

Like the fact I use "Wasteland" and side a second "Rush Recklessly" in my "Valkyrion" Deck to make sure the "Magnet Warriors" have enough strength to survive.

As for that duel of massive Life Points, I was hoping Ursus would allow me to use his Jupiter character from his fic for the villain, since it fits in nicely.

Max, what do you think about my latest card. It's Switch Mummy, but I added more effects to it. It seemed a little bland to me when I first did it...

Now I think it's a little overpowered, since you'll control your opponent's strongest monster, burn them for it and then blast this card with it, causing more damage. Make it so the burn damage is half of "Switch Mummy's" ATK.

And if I could get some comments on this card; it would be nice. Click here.

@Max: Why won't you use Gaia Power instead then? It gives them way more ATK

That's Sided because if I end up having to go on the defensive (ie waiting for "Valkyrion"), all of the "Magnet Warriors" become 1300-or-so DEF that can be easily taken down; while "Wasteland" is in the Main Deck because it means "Alpha" and "Beta" have 1900 DEF and ATK respectively and "Gamma" has 2000 DEF. It's there because it's more useful to the Deck IMO.

OK Max. Is "Switch Mummy's" OCG correct. Some of it is weird even for me.

1 Zombie-Type Tuner monster + 1 or more "Switch" non-Tuner monsters

This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. When this card is Synchro Summoned, switch control of this card with the monster with the highest ATK your opponent controls and inflict damage equal to half of this card's ATK. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

How is it now?

'and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of this card's ATK'

What do you think about this Trap Card effect:

'Remove up to 2 Spell or Trap Cards in your opponent’s Graveyard from play. Then, your opponent removes an equal number of cards in your Graveyard from play.'

So its a D.D. card? I still wouldn't use it.

"D.D. Curse Master" is the tentative title. Plus, you could easily RFP your opponent's most useful Spells and Traps while your opponent could be forced to select a pair of cards that are better RFPed than in your Graveyard. Also, when comboed with "Soul Absorption", it's 2000 free Life Points.

Yeah, and it has a smaler chance of your opponent also peofeting from it. I presume.

Sounds effective.

I have a special gift for Max...

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned when 4 "D.D." monsters are in the Graveyard. This card is also treated as a "D.D." monster. While this card is on the field, all monsters that are destroyed are removed from play instead. When this card is destroyed, you can pay 1000 Life Points to remove this card from play.

I made it last night for you Max.

Hey guys!

Finally back on the net.

Not sure how long it'll last, as I don't currently have a router available. (I am at my grandparents' to send this)

I hope you are well?

I'm just writing fan-fic chapters and making a selection of staple Quick-Play Spells.

@ Striker: Interesting card; like a "Banisher of the Radiance"-turned-"Monarch".

It's rather interesting, taking advantage of a slow "Macro Cosmos".

Also, is everyone in the YuGiOh world retarded? I was watching the episode of GX where Prince Ojin makes his first appearance. If you haven't seen it; here's a basic transcript:

Prince Ojin: I'm here to find some children's trading cards for as-yet-unexplained reasons. Oh, and I've just launched a mind-control satellite into orbit.

Sartorius: I bet you I can beat you in a children's card game without having a turn. If I don't, I'll give you your cards; but if I do, how about you give me the controls to your mind-control satellite?

Prince Ojin: Okay!

Sartorius wins without having a turn.

Prince Ojin: Blast. Oh well, I made a bargin. Here are the controls to the satellite.

WTF? Who in their right mind bets the controls to possibly the most powerful weapon of war ever created on a card game? And a children's card game at that! It's like gambling the keys to the world's nuclear arsenal on a game of Top Trumps!!

Yeah, that was kinda lolish epp.

Tbh, I only found the 4th season of GX actually good.

I stopped watching the episodes one after the other at the start of Season 3 since it just become far too surreal after a while. Some of the plot-points just made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Jaden being helped by a talking dolphin vs. Some Alien who plays card games <- That was an effing bizarre episode...
