Deadliest Warrior - The Yu-Gi-Oh! Contest [1 Slot Left!]

The title catch your eye? Good, that was the point. Just as it says, its based off the show "Deadliest Warrior". The way this contest will work is I will gather 8 entrants, who will randomly be paired up in individual, tournament-styled one-on-ones. I will release the brackets after all 8 slots have been filled, and whoever is the first pair on the list will go first. If your round comes up and you do not post your cards, or give me some reason not to suspect you've deserted the contest, within 3 days of the round starting, you will be automatically disqualified. If you have a special case, we may be able to work something out. Otherwise, failure to participate will result in immediate loss.

After round 1 is over, the 4 remaining contestants will be paired up again, with the same rules and gameplay, and afterwards, round 3 will pitt the 2 winners against each other.

There is a 5 point entry fee. Once we have all our contestants, I will explain the way you will make your cards.

List updated.

I will say this: The contest doesn't start until I get 8 people on the list and all 8 of them have paid their points. That means that if there are 8 people on the list, but two haven't paid their points, and there is someone willing to take your spot who sends me their points, you will lose your spot. I'm giving away spots in order, so the lower your number, the sooner you should get your points in.

Slashed from the list, if only temporarily. I'll still need another contestant, and theres that one guy who hasn't paid his points. If you get back before the contest starts, I'll re-add you.

Also, guys, c'mon. 1/2/3 People left and we're stopping there? Tell your friends or something!

New thing: Tell your friends to come and join, and if you do, tell them to post that you told them about this. You'll get an auto 3 points just for them mentioning you. But they MUST join and participate.

Yeah, you can join. Send your points in and you'll replace someone who doesn't have [Points Paid] next to their name.

And yes, you don't have to know the show to join. Its just a contest based on the basic idea of the show. As said above, just send in your points and you're in.

Yes! Final contestant for the final spot!

Round 1 begins! Matchups posted in the first post, as well as here:

1. Красивая Ведьма vs. jad2342

2. sirbobbert vs.Poisonedbite

3. GubsterGunner vs. cancer5000

4. Scyire vs. Shelds9

And further details:

As this is round 1, it will be the simplest round. All you have to do is to make an Effect Monster. Thats it. No limit to the effect, type, attribute, ATK, DEF, etc. I will judge on:

Originality: 40%

Creavitity: 40%

Which would win in a duel, were they pitted against each other: 10%

OCG: 10%

Yes, if you only had 1 card, and it was the card you made, and the same was applied to your opponent, which card would win?

Yes, I know this means whoever posts first will be at the disadvantage, as their opponent could just make something the exact counter to their own card's effect. Well, thats why it only counts for 10%, and why doing that would also earn you an originality reduction, balancing it out.

And yes, OCG. Bad OCG = Bad rating.

You may begin.
