You start to sing terribly off key and in a shrilly voice. The beast clutches its ears in agony. Om is on the floor, dead, with blood running from his ears. You got about a minute before the beast's hearing comes back, and your voice is sore.

You look in the library to only find books that would bore half of the world to death. You head upstairs and find the Circle leader's room. Feeling like breaking sum rules, you enter his room and see the chest in the corner that has a sign taped to it that says "Property of First Enchanter Irving. If found, return to him without looking inside or else. We know who you are............at least if you're part of the Circle."

 

You take a quick peak inside Irving's chest and see a glass phylactery (beaker containing blood sample) and a fossil that seems to resemble someone you've seen quite recently.

 

You hear someone walk in and, without thinking, grab the fossil and the phylactery and hold them behind your back. The mage asks "What are you doing in here?"
