"???" Akira looked shocked. "What...exactly...does that mean?" Akira asked, very slowly. "Please tell me!" he demanded. Akira looked straight at Zero, an aura rising around him. "Tell me what you mean! When I die, why the hell would you die as well?!!" Zero had never seen Akira so angry before. Akira needed to know; Currently, Akira was more determined than ever before in completing a task, and Zero was holding him back. He knew that it was because Zero cared, but Akira had to do this. Otherwise, he would never survive against New Moon. "I'm sorry, Zero..." Akira suddenly reverted back to his original self... The aura, though not evil, had disappeared...

"Ah... Damnit... Guess there's no choice..." Zero turned to Akira. "You felt that Aura just now? That's why. Your Aura is similar to mine. The reason why you had more Lunar Energy than me before is because you had the same thing that I have now." Zero tried to explain, but decided on a different approach. "Look, you know how I said that Draconicanofus was a being of pure Darkness? Well, he wasn't always like that. In fact, he was different. He had a Lighter side as well as his Darker side. He was split, and then he was seperated into two cards. The first, is one that I have. 'New Moon Spirit - Draconicanofus' is my card. You see, I have the Darker half of Draconicanofus within me, and you have his Lighter side within you." Zero explained.

"How? How did that thing get in me? I've never come into contact with it before!" Akira told Zero. Akira looked at his Lunar Mark... "Draconicanofus...is in me as well?" Akira asked himself. "Also, what does my card have to do with Dracocanofus? Your card has his name on it, though mine just seems like an ordinary evolution of my Dragon" Akira said. "How is this possible?" Akira asked himself. "Everything about me....I didn't know..." Akira thought. "Zero, why were we chosen as vessels for this creature?" Akira asked while they walked back.

"I don't even know why we have him, but Draconicanofus was sealed in you... somehow, after I had altered the Time Stream. If I hadn't been sent back 2 years and met you, then this never would have happened. The card I showed you before, Red Crescent Moon, that was a card meant to unlock Draconicanofus' powers. I was going to give it to you, because you could unlock Draconicanofus' Lighter side, and then your Spirit Synchro would come easier to you. I wish this was easier to understand, but neither me nor my brother know very much. Sorry" Zero explained.

"I understand, Zero" Akira said as he and Zero prepared to leave for the hideout. Suddenly, a D-Wheel zoomed out from behind them and almost hit them. Akira looked up; A turbo duelist stood upon them. "Oh, we're sorry we were in your way..." Akira apologized at the Turbo Duelist. He noticed a card on the D-Wheel's duel disk: Majestic Red Dragon.

"Wow! That's a pretty rare card you have there!" Akira said, referring to his card. "How long have you had it for?" Akira asked. Then, suddenly, he stopped talking, feeling extremely nosy.

"It's been in my family for nearly a decade," said Daylien, "The name's Daylien. And you two are the turbo duelists from an hour ago." he said simply. He surveyed them with interest. They seemed to be in some sort of trouble. Agitation and fear was clear on both their faces, and for once it had nothing to do with his imposing size. This pair seemed like an interesting enough duo... Maybe he would tag along for a little while. It was fortunate that the distress signal from one of his former comrades was rescinded fairly quickly. From his location he wouldn't have made it in time. "Whom might you be specifically?" Daylien asked.

"My name is Akira" Akira introduced himself to Daylien. "Nice to meet you" Akira held out his hand. "Well, we were about to leave." Akira said to Daylien, not knowing how Zero would respond. "Hey, are you interested in a - sorry, never mind." Akira was about to challenge Daylien to a duel, but after thinking about what Zero had said to him, he decided it was much better to stay away from the duel. However, Daylien looked with interest. "Um...anyways, I saw the beginning of your duel. You had some nice moves there" Akira said, trying to change the topic.

OOC: Sorry; This was completely accidental...I wanted to edit the post, but pressed reply instead. Sorry... :(

"Listen, Zero. I appreciate all you've done for me, but I can't just keep sitting back and let you all do the work. I'm doing this to become less of a burden." Akira's eyes showed that he was dead serious. "Therefore, I can't afford to take any extra time for this" Akira said as he pushed the card away. Akira started walking away from the hideout, oblivious to the fact that Zero had slipped it into his bag.

Eventually, Akira arrived back at the highway. However, he knew Zero would try to follow him again, so he took another path, ending above a river. Akira typed in a code in his duel disk, and a path came out of the water. "Okay; this time for sure" Akira told himself, as he started down the path on his Duel Board.

"Let's go! Spirit Synchro!!" Akira shouted as his monsters collided into light, the same way as before.

A few hours later, at around 4:00 AM, he couldn't exert anymore energy, yet he felt he had plenty more.

Akira kneeled down in anger, and shouted "Dammit!" while punching the ground.

"Hm? Oh, hello. I'm Zero. I would challenge you to a duel, but it's pretty late, so how about tomorrow? Anyways, C'mon Akira, we should get going. You're going to need some rest if you're going to finish that project you're working on." Zero said. Zero turned back to Daylien. "Maybe we can duel, next time we meet. I'm sure that the circumstances will be much better than they are now. You see, my friend is a little tired, as he's been working on something for the past couple of days. He just needs a little rest. Maybe, once he finishes, you could be the first to see it. What say you?"
