"Ohhh...kay" Akira said, slowly. He knew that Kutafis was strong, but if his strength was on par with Kyle's, then he was monstrous.

"Yeah, let's go" Akira took Zero and Kutafis' lead. The three of them walked to the city together. "So, do you know anything about this New Moon member, other then his whereabouts?" Akira asked Kutafis. However, Akira was most curious about what Kyle and Kutafis had been talking about when they first arrived at the hideout. Akira looked at his brother's card, and the spirit opened up to him. "Whoa!" Akira shouted when the dragon took form in front of them. "Well, now I know why you felt that aura, Zero..."

"Hm... Looks like it's accepted you as it's holder. Interesting... Well, we don't know very much about the organization member, however, Zwei is somewhere around here, and he'll have more information for us. Now then, I'm sure that you'll have a lot of questions later on, but I need to tell you right now. If I tell you to do something, then you must do it. If I tell you to run, then you run. If I tell you to hide, then you hide. If I tell you to save yourself, and leave me behind, then you must do so. Do you understand? This is no game we're playing, here. If we make even one wrong move, we're screwed." Kutafis explained. "Do I have your word, Akira?"

(OOC: Idk why, but this feels like Team Protoman all over again! :D)

"I understand" Akira said, with a serious expression on his face. Once again, he looked down at the Cosmic Gem Hybrid Dragon card his brother had left him. He knew that through Kutafis' experience as a guardian, he would have to trust him. The three of them walked and stopped at a certain location. With that, Akira noticed a figure with a white cloak standing in an alley hidden by shadows, though he wasn't sure whether is was Zwei or another New Moon member. Akira looked at Zero, who also seemed to notice. Then, he looked at Kutafis, awaiting directions.

(OOC: IDK why, but that's what this is turning into. Well, why not?)

"Damn. That's another New Moon Member.Zwei must have been captured, as he's not one to run from a fight. Well, there's only one way to get to him. Zero, you know what to do." Kutafis turned to Akira. "We should get back, until a little later. Let Zero handle this." Kutafis said. Zero nodded towards Kutafis, and started walking towards the New Moon Member. The same Whitish Blue Aura that had surrounded Zero when he dueled Kyle had appeared again, but this time, it was larger. Zero's Lunar Mark started glowing, and suddenly, the rift opened up again, and in a flash of light, the New Moon Member disappeared along with Akira, Kutafis, and Zero. They reappeared in a dark, stone room, with a single window that revealed a Dark Red Moon. *Sigh* "It's been a long time since I was last here." Zero said.

"What is this place?" Akira asked, amazed as he looked around. He noticed the Red Moon, and wondered what it meant. "So, how exactly did we get here?" Akira asked Kutafis. Then, he noticed the aura around Zero "That aura really makes him powerful, doesn't it?" Akira muttered to himself. Now, he was worried about Zwei. What would they do if one of the Guardians was captured? That could be the thing that destroys the guardian. The worst possible case would be if Zwei were being held hostage. Then, what would they as guardians do?

"Huh..." Daylien said, suddenly gazing off into the distance. All of a sudden he placed a hand over his deck and firmly said, "I surrender, sorry my friend but business requires me elsewhere. You are indeed a skilled duelist." Daylien jammed on the brakes, wheel span around and shot back in the direction from whence he had come. Someone had just mentally called out to him... not something anyone close to him was prone to doing. Whatever the situation was that justified such an action, it had to be exceptionally serious. Daylien only hoped that he wasn't too far a distance thanks to his turbo duel.

"Hm? You don't remember, Akira? This is the Lunar Realm. Where Yackori was. Anyways, We were just captured our selves, however, Kutafis has escaped from here before, and he's going to help us do it again." Zero reassured. Kutafis walked over to the door, and picked the lock. "C'mon, we're out. We can find Zwei around here too." Kutafis said. "Alright, let's get moving before the Patrol comes." Kutafis continued. Zero turned to Akira. "Alright, Akira. This is the Foward Base of Operations for the New Moon Organization. We'll have to come back here, but for right now, we're only here to get Zwei back. Whenever you're ready." Zero said.

"Let's go" Akira followed. "This world - is where we materialized our dragons back then. So the New Moon people use this as their headquarters?" Akira asked, apparently surprised. "How long has this organization been active, and how come they weren't here before when we visited back at Duel Academy?" Akira asked. He ran with them, trying to find Zwei. Suddenly, Akira felt a strange aura; an aura similar to him and Zero. It was the aura of a guardian. Zero and Kutafis seemed to know as well. The three of them abruptly turned the corner and went down another path, almost sure that Zwei was there.

"They actually have been here for thousands of years, but we never saw any of them before as that was a different Timeline. I altered the TimeStream just by having been sent back 2 years, that altered the TimeStream enough to create them in this Timeline. It's a lot to understand, but it actually does make sense, and we should be getting near Zwei pretty soon... Huh." Zero said, as they came out into an opening, which expanded out into the rest of the Lunar Realm. There was also a large ring nearby, symbolizing a Racetrack. "Alright, I guess it's now or never. In case you're wondering, Akira, we've been spotted. I'll have to Duel our way out of here. Kutafis, I need to borrow your deck." Zero turned to his brother. Kutafis handed over his deck, and zero walked up to the ring. Zero's D-Wheel suddenly appeared, along with a White D-Wheel, and another New Moon Member. Kutafis turned to Akira. "We'd better get back. This could get dangerous."

"Yeah..." Akira stepped back as Zero and the New Moon member started their duel. "I'm just curious, Kutafis. WHy did Zero need to use your deck? Did he have a reason to not use his own?" Akira asked. "And I'm assuming those rings equip duelists with their equipment when they're stood on" Akira thought to himself, recalling when Zero's D-Wheel had appeared.

Suddenly, 2 more New Moon members jumped out. Akira awaited directions from Kutafis. It all seemed so unclear.

Akira then felt a gust of wind as Zero took off, along with the White Moon member.

Kutafis raised up his left hand, his Lunar Mark, the Head Mark, glowed, and the two New Moon Members vanished. *Sigh* "Nothing more than illusions... Anyways, Zero needed to use my Deck, because these guys are strong. My deck has been the only deck that's been able to defeat them. So far, We've only ever been in a situation like this twice. Both times, Zero used my Deck. Both times, Zero had to duel another one of the New Moon members. Both times... Zero lost." Kutafis said.

"Zero....lost...?" Akira repeated. "If that's how strong they truly are, then...how are we supposed to fight them?" Akira, for the first time in a long while, was genuinely concerned. "If that were the case, then only Kutafis and Kyle's decks are strong enough" Akira thought. "And, to make matters worse, they completely outnumber us in every way..." Akira fell to his knees, with a shocked look on his face. "Then those grunts that Zero and I dueled...they were nothing but...That's impossible..." Akira said to himself. The New Moon organization was much more deadly than he had thought...

Zero had started the duel, and Zero now controlled 2 face-downs, and he also controlled his Fusion Tuner, Novatosis, as well as Red-Eyes Crystal Dragon, and he had a Crystalline Forward Dragon in his hand. On the New Moon's side was the three Dimension Dragons, Dementuo, Dementaio, and Dementao. It was now Zero's Turn. "Heh. What was I thinking? Going up against someone like this? They can revive their Chaos Dragons asmuch as they want now, and I'm helpless. But... If I'm going to win, then I have to achieve the Spirit Synchro... This is it. My turn... Draw! ...! I activate my Crystalline Blessings! This doubles my Life Points! Then, I activate my Crystal Red-Eyes' effect, allowing me to revive my Rainbow Crystal!" A shining orb appeared. (Lv 5) "Now, I sacrifice my Crystal Red-Eyes in order to Special Summon my Crystalline Forward Dragon! (Lv 4) I'm tuning my Crystalline Forward Dragon with my Rainbow Crystal in order to Synchro Summon my Crescent Shadow Dragon! (4 + 5 = 9) Now... I'm tuning my Novatosis and my Crescent Shadow Dragon... to Spirit Synchro Summon..." The whitish blue aura around Zero suddenly magnified nearly 10 times it's original size. At that same moment, a large bam of Black-Red light shot out of the sky. The New Moon Organization had achieved it's goal. Draconicanofus had been summoned. "What?! Damnit! This isn't good! I have to finish this now... I Spirit Synchro..." The Red-Black beam started to mix with Zero's own aura, creating a Green Aura. "I Spirit Synchro Full Moon Spirit - Draconicanofus!" Suddenly, a large dragon appeared, resembling Crescent Shadow Dragon. "I activate it's effect! Whenever he's Synchro Summoned, I can destroy every card in my Spell and Trap card zones in order to Destroy 3 cards you control! I choose your three Dimension Dragons!" Zero's Lunar Mark started glowing, then, all five Marks appeared on Zero's back, signifying his accomplishment. "Next, It's second effect! I can send the top 5 cards of my deck to my Grave, and for every Trap Card, I can attack you again! I send... One: Bottomless Trap Hole! Two: Dark Bribe! Three: Mirror Force! Four: Solemn Judgment! Five... Sakuretsu Armour! I attack you all out, and... I win this duel!" The dragon shot 5 beams of green light at the Turbo Duelist, and he crashed, then disappeared into the Rift. "Finally... I won..." Zero said, as he got of his D-Wheel, and collapsed.

Kyle watched the conclusion of Zero's duel from above. "I see, Akira has made a very accomplished friend" Kyle smiled, got on his duel runner, ran down to the track, and carried Zero onto his D-Wheel. Then, with Zero aboard, Kyle drove down the aisle, made a sharp right, and stopped. "Heh. Another one..." Kyle had encountered another New Moon duelist. "Guess I have no choice...DUEL" Kyle's D-Wheel activated and the duel began.

-SEVERAL TURNS LATER-

On Kyle's field was a mysterious dragon made out of rainbow-colored gemstones as well as 1 face-down. On the New Moon Member's field, there was 1 Dementuo. "Trap activate," Kyle declared as his facedown activated: Cosmic Implosion! This card allows me to Tribute 1 Cosmic Gem monster with 3000 or more ATK, and I select my Cosmic Gem - Rainbow Prismer Dragoon, with 4400 ATK! Next, by tributing it, I destroy all monsters on the field with ATK of less than its ATK, 4400! Then, the total ATK of the monsters destroyed is deducted from your Life Points!" Dementuo blew up, and Kyle watched as the New Moon member's Life Points dropped from 2800 to 0. Kyle's Life Point meter showed 4000. "Hmph...Child's Play" Kyle retorted, smiling.

Kyle kept driving down the isle. Eventually, he got to where Akira and Kutafis were. "Kutafis, your brother's achieved the Spirit Synchro" Kyle said.

"...Amazing... I... Wow..." Kutafis was speechless. "Amazing. I've never been able to Spirit Synchro, and Zero just did it... I guess I'm starting to loose my touch... Or maybe Zero's just growing stronger than I am... Wow. He's going to have to take my place soon enough, but I'm sure I can help him with this one..." Kutafis thought. "Well, Zwei just contacted me. He successfully escaped, thanks to us being able to lure the guards off. Alright, let's get going. We need to get Zero out of here. If he just absorbed the remaining power of Draconicanofus, then being in the Lunar Realm won't help him. We need to get him to the Real world, so he can recover." Kutafis explained.

"Hehehe...and he seemed to achieve it under pressure as well. However, as with most Spirit Synchros, he wasn't able to sustain it for more than a turn. Still, it was impressive. Reminds me of the whole Jack Atlas and Scar-Red Nova thing" Kyle grinned.

The four of them: Kutafis, Kyle, Akira, and Zero transported out of the New Moon base. Akira followed Kutafis, while Kyle took Zero on his D-Wheel. Eventually, they met back at the Team Satisfaction Hideout. By the time Akira and Kutafis had arrived, Zero had already been put in bed. "Also, that aura that he had when he dueled me...seemed necessary for the Spirit Synchro. It grew to about 10 times its normal size, then started to diminish as the Spirit Synchro appeared. I noticed that when he collapsed, the aura was gone completely. He'll need to perfect it, but his Spirit Synchro's pretty much there" Kyle explained, reiterating what he saw during Zero's duel.

"I noticed that. I also see that Zero contains the powers of Draconicanofus within him now, and so that should result in 3 things. The first, being the most useful, is that he should be able to Spirit Synchro with ease now. The second, is that he should have much more energy. The third, being the worst, is that... He won't be able to go back to the Lunar Realm without risking that energy being released again." Kutafis explained. "We'll also have to keep an eye on him. He already had a Dark Side to begin with, but now he contains another being, one of complete Darkness, and that could get tricky. Unless he learns to control it, he'll be in constant danger." Kutafis continued.

-------LATER-------

Zero had woken up. "Ah... I still feel kinda tired, but man, that was the toughest duel of my life... I guess I'd better learn the secrets of Draconicanofus, considering I've become a vessel for him... Man, I need to make sure that he doesn't get control over me again..." Zero thought. He was out on the balcony of the Hideout, and he had been chatting with Akira.

"Kyle told me what happened" Akira said, softly. "Ever since I met you, you've never stopped going further, and you never fail to impress me" he continued. "And here you've even achieved the Spirit Synchro. And now, you've somehow managed to absorb half of Draconicanofus. Though it will take time to learn and control him, I'm sure you'll be able to. Your soul is strong enough; Draconicanofus won't-no, he can't take over" Akira said reassuringly.

"And about me, I'm the only guardian who hasn't done anything....I couldn't have done anything..." Akira thought to himself. "I don't deserve to be a guardian...Kyle should have become one instead of me - he's stronger than I am, more useful than I am..."

-THAT NIGHT-

While everyone was asleep, Akira packed his bags and went out of the Team Satisfaction hideout. He took his Duel Board and started around the highway. He attached his duel disk and placed 2 cards down: Blackwing Armor Master and Blackwing - Flash Blazer the Typhoon. He spent hours trying to master the Spirit Synchro. By 2:00 AM in the morning, he was exhausted, with pains all over his body. However, Akira kept going.

"Now...Spirit Synchro!" His two monsters collided, forming a light. The Spirit Synchro had appeared for the sixth time. It stayed for about 12 seconds, and fell apart. "Ughhh...not..again..." Akira grunted. He almost fell off his duel board. but caught himself. After another 4 hours, at around 6:00 AM, Akira took several deep breaths and tried for the last time. "Spirit Synchro!!!" he shouted as his monsters collided again. The monster appeared as Akira kept going, and he had reached 30 seconds. Then, the monster fell apart as Akira deactivated the duel disk. A card slipped off...A fully formed Spirit Synchro card came off... Akira smiled as he got off the highway, panting. He tried to make his way back to the hideout, but several miles away, he collapsed.

Zero had been watching from a distance. "Heh. He's getting better. He's already got the Card formed, now he just needs to maintain it for at least a turn. Well, might as well help him out." Zero thought to himself. Zero jumped down from the small cliff he had been standing on, and walked over to Akira. "Good job. You're almost there. However, you shouldn't push yourself so hard. I'll let you come back here again to practice, but if you try to kill yourself by expending all of your energy, then I'll step in." Zero said, jokingly. "Alright, C'mon, let's go back." Zero helped Akira to his feet, and they walked back to the Hideout.

"What...are...you...doing...up?" Akira asked, weakly. "I...still couldn't...get it" he continued. "Why was I...chosen to...become a Guardian...anyways? I don't...have any special...skills..." Akira and Zero walked up to the hideout. "Please don't tell....anyone about...this. I don't...want... anyone knowing..." he said as he entered. Akira turned back and managed to flash a smile at Zero. "I just...want to...be more useful..." Akira said, as he walked into the room. He found a place on the floor, sat down, and passed out, apparently exhausted both physically and mentally.

*Sigh* Zero walked into Akira's room, and told him before he passed out "After you wake up, I'll tell you something that'll help you along. Don't think of it as support, but merely a way of doing this." Zero walked out of Akira's room as he passed out, he went outside, and he stared off into the distance. "Why is this happening now? I have to learn how to control Draconicanofus, or I won't be able to prevent that from happening... no... There is another way." Zero thought, as the sun rose.

Akira did not wake up until that afternoon, and he woke up with a sharp pain in his chest. "Figures, it was Kyle..." he thought. Kyle's method of checking whether Akira was asleep or not conscious was jabbing him in the chest. Even after he woke up, he did not come out of his room. He heard Kutafis and Kyle chatting outside, though he couldn't tell about what. Akira just sat there for hours, thinking about the Spirit Synchro. He had forgot about what Zero said to him that morning. That night, when he tried to sneak out again, Zero caught him.

"Out again?" *Sigh* "You can't keep doing this. You're going to get yourself killed. If you keep expending all of your energy like this, then you won't have any left to stay alive." Zero explained. "Look, I told you that I would tell you a way to do this, and here it is" Zero handed a card to Akira. "This is the 'Red Crescent Moon' card that Kutafis used to use when he tried to get the Spirit Synchro. It prevents you from expending all of your energy. It'll take longer to achieve the Spirit Synchro this way, but at least it'll keep you conscious." Zero explained. "Here, take it."

"Listen, Zero. I appreciate all you've done for me, but I can't just keep sitting back and let you all do the work. I'm doing this to become less of a burden." Akira's eyes showed that he was dead serious. "Therefore, I can't afford to take any extra time for this" Akira said as he pushed the card away. Akira started walking away from the hideout, oblivious to the fact that Zero had slipped it into his bag.

Eventually, Akira arrived back at the highway. However, he knew Zero would try to follow him again, so he took another path, ending above a river. Akira typed in a code in his duel disk, and a path came out of the water. "Okay; this time for sure" Akira told himself, as he started down the path on his Duel Board.

"Let's go! Spirit Synchro!!" Akira shouted as his monsters collided into light, the same way as before.

A few hours later, at around 4:00 AM, he couldn't exert anymore energy, yet he felt he had plenty more.

Akira kneeled down in anger, and shouted "Dammit!" while punching the ground.

*Sigh* Zero jumped out of a nearby tree. "You can't keep doing it like this. If you do, then you're going to kill yourself! You can't just keep going on so recklessly! Don't you have any regards for everyone else who cares about you?! No one among us thinks that you're a burden! I even asked Kyle, and do you know what he said? He said 'I would give my life for Akira. Even though it seems like I don't care, i really do.' You hear me?! Your own brother said that! And besides, you can't die! If you die, then I die!" Zero suddenly went quiet, as if he had said something that he shouldn't have.
