Yu-Gi-Oh! Lunar Revelations [IC Thread/Started/Accepting Via OOC]

[Zextra]

"All right" Akira replied, as he got ready. "So how would we do this?" Akira asked Zero. "Also, why would it take more Lunar Energy to transfer us to one place in contrast to another?" Akira was almost excited to go to the old Momentum Reactor. He had heard many stories about it, but had never been there, yet alone Satellite. "Okay, I think I'm ready" Akira told Zero as they prepared themselves to leave. He followed Zero's lead, and they disappeared in a flash of light, ending outside the reactor. Akira felt drained as he almost collapsed, but he caught himself and started walking with Zero.

[Guest Dementuo]

"Well, if you transfer to a different place than where you went in, in the Real World, then you must move the essence of your Body as well as your mind, and that takes an excess of Lunar Energy, which we, luckily, have at our disposal. And don't worry, your energy will return shortly. Releasing Energy this way is different than trying to Spirit Synchro, as it doesn't require you to control your Energy quite as much." Zero explained. "Anyways... There." Someone appeared from the shadows. He was wearing a long white cloak, and had dark brown hair. "This is our target. His name... is Zwei Rockwood."

[Zextra]

"Hello, Zwei. It's nice to meet you." Akira held out a hand to the teenager. However, Zwei was hostile..

Then, when Akira and Zero took their leave, they started talking.

"I see, so he's the 5th Guardian...

Oh, by the way, are we going to look for your brother now?"

Akira asked, as he followed Zero out of the shadows back to the entrance area of the Momentum Reactor.

"Now that we have all 5 guardians, what happens?" Akira asked.

[Guest Dementuo]

OOC: I'm gonna be gone for a while, and probably won't be back until tomorrow, but we'll see.

 

"Zwei was the reason why my brother disappeared. There is an organization known as "New Moon." They're targeting anybody who might be a Guardian, and they got to our brothers. Yes, we're going to look for them, but only after the grunts they sent to watch us are taken care of." Zero said, and then, two people who were also wearing White Cloaks, similar to Zwei's, came out from behind Zero, and attempted to grab him. However, Zero avoided it, and then appeared besides Akira. "Don't ask how I did that, it's a long story." Zero said hurriedly. "Anyways, there are two of them, so we can make this a Tag-Duel. Alright, Akira?"

[Zextra]

"Wait! Zwei's part of the enemy? Yet, he's a guardian?! This makes no sense!" Akira seemed shocked that one of their so-called "allies" was actually an enemy.

"Well, there's no choice! Enemies...must be eliminated!" Akira shouted as he activated his duel disk. Zero activated his next to him. "This isn't a joke" Akira said as he drew out his Nova Deck, which was only to be used in emergencies. "Zero, you ready?" Akira asked as he and Zero exchanged looks.

[Guest Dementuo]

Zero activated his Duel Disk as well. "I know that this is confusing, and it was for me, but Zwei is not part of the Enemy. He's a Double Agent who helps us out. He only wears those robes to infiltrate the Enemies' territory." Zero explained. "Don't worry, he's been with us for years. Anyways, these two grunts can know, as it won't do them much good in my basement." Zero said. "Alright, I'll start us off. My turn, Draw!" Zero drew his sixth card. "First, I summon my Koa'Ki Meru Drago! This prevents any LIGHT or DARK monsters from being Special Summoned." Zero declared, as a shiny blue dragon emerged. "I set three cards face-down and end my turn!" Zero said.

 

Grunt 1:

"Alright, My turn! I first summon a Black Chaos Dragon!" A black dragon appeared from a rift, which had been ripped open by the Dragon's Claws. "Now, I activate the Field Spell, 'The Forbidden Dimension - Riftspace'!" Suddenly, another rift opened up, and it engulfed the entire field.

 

Zero:

"Hey, Akira. These are their generic cards, the Chaos Dragons. Be careful, as it's your turn now."

[Zextra]

"I understand!" Akira shouted as he drew. "Oh, gosh! Not again! I switched up my decks again!" Akira thought, annoyed. "Well then, I activate the Spell card Black Whirlwind! Then, I summon Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn (ATK:2000), which lets me add my Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind to my hand. Then, I'll activate Double Summon to Normal Summon again, and I summon Gale! Now, I'll halve the ATK of your Black Chaos Dragon! Finally, since I can't attack due to this being a Tag Duel, I'll tune my Gale to my Sirocco to Synchro Summon Crepuscule Aurora Dragon!" A shooting burst of white and blue light shot into the field, revealing a White and Bluish Dragon.

"I'll place 2 cards face-down!"

Grun 2:

"I summon my own Chaos Dragon, however, it'll be a Brown one this time!" A big, brown dragon appeared in the same way as the Black one. "I'll set 2 cards of my own face down, and end my turn!"

 

Zero:

"Alright, My turn! I activate my Trap Card, Dragoon Absorber! Now, you can't activate any Spells or Traps during this turn's Battle Phase! Now then, I activate my Future Fusion! This sends my 3 White Stones, a Debris Dragon, and my Stardust Shaolong to the Grave! Then, I summon my other Debris Dragon! This lets me revive my Shaolong! Finally, I'm Tuning my Level 1 Shaolong, and my Level 4 Drago with my Level 4 Debris Dragon, in order to Synchro Summon my Crescent Shadow Dragon! By it's effect, I can add three Trap Cards to my hand! I add Solemn Judgment, Dark Bribe, and Mirror Force to my hand! Finally, I lay 2 more cards Face-Down!"

 

Grunt 1:

I draw! Due to the effect of Riftspace, I must pay 800 Life Points. Now, I sacrifice my Black Chaos Dragon, and my comrade's Brown Chaos Dragon in order to Summon Havoc of the Forbidden Dimension - Dementuo! By it's effect, I can Special Summon my Inbred Chaos Dragon! I lay another card Face-Down and end my turn!"

[Zextra]

"Well, it's my turn, so I draw! First, meet Blackwing-Blizzard the Far North, which summons Gale back to my field. Now, I activate my trap Call of the Haunted, which raises my Sirocco. Finally, I'm double tuning gale and Blizzard with my Sirocco to Synchro summon Blackwing-Twister the Infernal Hellstorm! Now, I place another face down and end my turn..."

 

"Sorry, Zero... I can't attack. I have no Trap protection out..." Akira thought.

[Guest Dementuo]

Grunt 2:

By the effects of Riftspace, I can pile on 500 additional attack to my Dementuo! Now, he attacks your Hellstorm!" The massive dragon shot a black blade of aura out towards the winged-beast, and it shattered. "I end my turn."

 

Zero:

"Gr... Damnit! This is their best card, and I don't have enough power to beat it... Wait, I've got it! Akira, I'm going to need to borrow your dragon!" Zero looked down at his Duel Disk. "I need to draw the right card... My turn... Draw!" Zero drew his card. "...! That's it. I'm done with you two." Zero said. "I may not have been able to achieve the Spirit Synchro, but this is my alternative." Zero thought to himself. "I activate Dragon's Mirror! This lets me remove my two dragons from my Grave in order to summon my Spirit Dragoon! Now, I'm Tuning my Level 9 Crescent Shadow Dragon, Akira's Level 8 Crepuscule Aurora Dragon, and my Level 3 Spirit Dragoon! (9 + 8 + 3 = 20) I Synchro Summon my last resort, Lunar Aurora Crescent Dragon! I activate my Dragoon's Spirits Trap Card, which gives my dragon two additional attacks, as well as 1000 extra ATK! Now, my dragon, Attak, and finish this Duel!" The massive Dragon appeared, and completely overshadowed the Grunts' dragon. Zero's dragon blasted out 3 shots of a whitish blue aura, which shattered the dragon, and caused the two Grunts to disappear into the Riftspace as it vanished.

 

"Damnit, I was hoping it wouldn't do that. The Riftspace causes whoever plays it to be consumed by power, thus practically killing their soul." Zero said. "Well, that was a very intense Duel. Let's go back to the Hideout, and get some rest. My brother will be waiting there. I can sense his presence now." Zero explained, exhausted. "Whenever you're ready."

[Zextra]

"Cool! I can finally meet him!" Akira said excitedly as he deactivated his duel disk. Little did he know that his brother would be there as well. However, Akira was curious about Zero's last card. It was powerful, indeed, but it had 20 stars. Did that mean that Zero had used an Infinity Synchro monster? Akira followed Zero back to the hideout. When they arrived, Zero opened the door and they both walked in. The moment he stepped inside, Akira felt his body go limp. It was Kyle...

[~Duo~]

"Damn it! I activate 'Threatening Roar'! It doesn't target your Majestic Red Dragon, so you can't attack for this turn!" A face-down card flipped face-up and revealed a boar-like creature. It roared ferociously and Daylien's monsters fell back. He prepared to reveal his other face-down just in case... his second plan failed. His first had already failed as Daylien's monsters were used for the Synchro Summoning of Majestic Red Dragon. How could he have such a rare card? I shouldn't bring him out yet, I don't think he'll survive since none of these monsters are actually Synchro Tuners... Have to wait 'till next turn!

[Guest Dementuo]

"Hm? What's wrong Akira?" Zero turned around and noticed Kyle. "Oh. That's why." Zero thought. "Well, I guess that you must be Kyle." Zero walked up to Kyle. "I guess my brother isn't here just yet. Anyways, so you're Akira's older brother, eh? Well, I'm glad I'm finally able to meet you, although I just wish that the circumstances were different. It would make for a much better time. So, I'm going to need your help." Zero said. Just then, another person, about the age of 21-22, walked in the door. "Oh, you're back, Kutafis." Zero said.

[Zextra]

"Hello. It's nice to meet you. You're Zero, I presume?" Kyle offered his hand to Zero.

"Him, I'm not so happy to see..." Kyle turned and glanced at Akira, giving him a dirty look. Akira gulped and looked down.

"Anyways, your brother and I were discussing this group...New Moon" Kyle explained to Zero. "But he can probably tell you more about it than I can" he grinned.

Kyle gestured for Zero to sit down. "Have a seat; Maybe you can help us decide what to do about them" Kyle said.

"And Akira...I need to talk to you...outside...NOW!" Kyle said, in an extremely scary voice.

 

Akira went with Kyle outside...

 

"I understand you have my Hybrid Dragon, don't you?" Kyle said to Akira, sinisterly.

"I'm sorry...It was an accident...It got mixed up in my bag when I left..." Akira said, extremely shakily. Akira reached into his bag and gave the card to Kyle.

"Still, you can't just expect to go unpunished, do you?" and with that, Kyle slapped Akira on the face and punched him in the stomach against the wall.

"s-so...rry" Akira said as he drooped down, collapsing.

 

Kyle returned to the room, leaving Akira sprawled on the ground outside.

[Guest Dementuo]

Zero watched in awe as Kyle beat down on Akira. "...That's it... Get out." Zero said to Akira. "If you're going to do that to a friend of mine, then you're my enemy. Get out of here, and don't come back." Zero continued. A powerful whitish blue aura surrounded Zero, and another rift opened up around Zero and Kyle. "If you think that you can just do whatever the hell you want... Then you're dead wrong." Zero said, menacingly. Zero had never shown this side of him to Akira before. This was Zero's darker side. The side that only came out when he felt really angry. Zero turned to look at Kyle. "Now then... Shut up, and Duel me." Zero said.

[Zextra]

"hmm?" Kyle reverted back to his normal state. "A duel? Sure" Kyle replied. "Great. I can test him" Kyle thought to himself.

"Ze...ro.. don't..." Akira groaned. Kyle looked at Akira and knelt beside him. He whispered into Akira's ear.

"Don't worry. I won't use 'that' deck." Kyle watched as Akira's face eased. "Good; if Kyle doesn't use 'it', then Zero can win!" Akira thought.

He patted Akira on the shoulder and reached inside Akira's bag.

"Let me borrow this" he said as he pulled out Akira's duel disk.

He took out his deck and placed it in the duel disk, activating it.

"Alright then, DUEL!" They both shouted.

Kyle drew his hand. "My turn" he declared as he picked up his top card.

"Spell card Foolish Burial, activate! I send my Wulf, Lightsworn Beast to the Graveyard from my deck, and when that happens, Wulf Special Summons himself!"

A white wolf holding a staff-like spear appeared. "Then, I set a monster, followed by 2 face-downs."

OOC: For anyone wondering, I did talk this over with Zextra.

 

"Huff...Huff... I draw..." Zero drew his card, as the Whitish-Blue Aura around him grew exponentially. "I... Activate Future Fusion! This let's me send 3 White Stones of Legend to the Grave, along with a Debris Dragon... and... a Decoy Dragon! This let's me add 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons to my hand... Which I fuse together... Using Polymerization!" The massive, Three-Headed Dragon appeared. "I... Then activate... Dragoon Force! This let's me remove... my five Dragons from the Grave... In order to summon... the Legendary Five God Dragon!" Another Dragon, a much bigger, Five-Headed Dragon appeared next to Blue-Eyes. "I activate another Spell... Called... Heavy Storm... This... Wipes out your entire back row... Leaving you wide open! Now, my final card... Double Attack... I discard... my Koa'Ki Meru Drago... to let my... F.G.D... Attack twice this turn. Now... Attack... my two Dragons! Finish him!" The two dragons fired off large blasts towards Kyle, about to end the Duel.

[Zextra]

"Trap, activate." Kyle said as his face-down card revealed itself. "Torrential Tribute, the moment you Fusion Summon F.G.D." Kyle watched as all monsters were destroyed by a giant tsunami. Kyle stood there, his 2nd face-down destroyed by Zero's Heavy Storm. "Is that it? Please tell me you're stronger than this" Kyle said in a calm voice. "I expect more from a guardian" Kyle declared, making sure Zero could hear him. "Akira, let's see what your friend can really do" Kyle thought, as he waited for Zero to finish his turn.

[Guest Dementuo]

"Heh. You really think that I would be caught by that?!" Zero was sounding more and more excited by the second. Zero had gotten control of his Dark Side, and was now going to Duel with all he could throw at him. "Because I used my Dragoon Force Spell Card, I can now activate it's Second Effect, and even it's Third! First, I get to draw a card! The, if it was a Spell, which it is, I can activate it instantly, which I can! So now I activate Dragoon Spirit Force! This let's me revive my fallen Blue-Eyes Ultimate, however, it costs 1000 of m Life Points.! Finally, Because you destroyed my F.G.D. using a Card Effect, you take damage equal to my Dragon's ATK, which is a whopping 5000! And now, because you don't have your Wulf anymore, you really are wide open! I attack you Directly with my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! And also, don't think for a second that you can try anything, because Dragoon Force protects my F.G.D.'s Counter, and Dragoon Spirit Force protects my Blue-Eyes, as well as negate any Special effects you might try to pull!" The Dragon once again fired off a blast towards Kyle.

[Zextra]

Kyle smiled as the beam hit him. "I guess you are good" Kyle said, reassured. "One more turn, he wouldn't even let me have that" Kyle chuckled as he thought to himself. He looked in his hand: Judgment Dragon.

He walked over to Zero and shook his hand. "I look forward to working with you soon, whether you want it or not. And Kutafis, I'll contact you later" Kyle said as he prepared to leave.

"Now, as you requested, I'll go" Kyle put the duel disk back in Akira's bag and started walking away.

[Guest Dementuo]

The rift disappeared, and Zero walked over to Akira. "You okay? Sorry you had to see that side of me, I try to keep in under control, but man, you weren't kidding when you said your brother was a complete jerk." Zero said, as he helped Akira to his feet. Kutafis walked over to Zero and Akira. "So he's the other Guardian? Well, I suppose we should now try to find where the New Moon organization is located. It's the only place where we can destroy Draconicanofus. If we don't rid the world of him soon, then he'll regain his power, and be able to take over the entire Universe, even the Spirit World." Kutafis explained. "We can go after we've recovered. I'm sure that we've all had a long day. Let's get some rest." Zero said.

[Zextra]

Akira sighed. He was just glad Zero didn't have to face the Cosmic Gems. "Right, let's rest for a while" Akira said, patting the dirt off of himself. "Zero...please don't mind Kyle...I know that seemed harsh of him, but he has his reasons" Akira said, matter-of-factly. "Just don't hate him for doing so..." Akira knew that Kyle would be back...

Akira followed Zero and Kutafis into the hideout. "I'm sorry for causing any trouble" Akira apologized to both Zero and Kutafis.

He grabbed his bag and a card dropped out. Akira looked at it: Cosmic Gem Hybrid Dragon. There was a post-it note attached to it.

It read: "Use it; Just give it back to me when the time comes"

[Guest Dementuo]

"Cosmic Gem Hybrid Dragon? Hm... sounds like my kind of card." Kutafis said. Zero picked up that card. "So... This was the Aura that I was sensing around your brother, huh? Well, can't say that I'm not impressed. It's one hell of a card." Zero said. "What do you think, Kutafis?" Zero asked. Kutafis turned to Akira. "Your brother must have one powerful Deck to have such a rare card. Is there something that you're not telling us? I don't mean to pry, but I'm just curious. You don't have to answer if you don't want to." Kutafis reassured.

[Zextra]

Akira felt the pressure weighing on him, though he was curious as to why Kutafis was asking. He thought that naturally, Kyle would have told him. "Well...." Akira started, "So far, I've never, ever seen my brother play seriously before. He's never lost in a tournament before, but every time he duels in one of them, he just randomly selects 40 cards from a large bin and duels with it. The Lightsworn Deck he used against Zero was nothing more than a test deck. However, I have seen a couple cards from his real deck before. Once, when he left them on a table, I read through a few of them, and they were just..." Akira stopped. Just thinking about the power of the Cosmic Gems made him shiver. "Put it this way; Saying they're 10 times as strong as the Nova cards I use would be a total understatement" Akira said.

Kutafis looked at Akira. "Heh. Nothing that my Crystallines can't handle. I went up against that Cosmic Gem deck that your brother has, and I beat it. I must admit though, it was the hardest Duel that I'd had in a long, long time. Anyways, I've got word that there's someone around the City who's part of the New Moon organization. They'll probably try to keep a low profile, as not very many people know about them, but I'm sure that we can find them.
