Loki chuckled, Wow its rare to find someone who would believe that, your a rare one you know that. Loki was enjoying the talk, it was rare to find someone like him and his freak out was pretty funny whether what Loki said was true or not was still in question but some people do believe it even if he had no evidence, Loki could feel his trickster streak getting tickled. Loki was wondering how his comment would be responded to but it would definently be interesting.

"I think I've been a little awkward today" Akira muttered to himself. "I'm sorry about that -tot was wrong of me to have accused you like that. It was nice meeting you, Mr. Loki" Akira said as he turned around to leave. He bowed slightly once more to Loki and boarded his Duel Board, where he skated off back towards the Team Satisfaction Hideout, where he awaited Zero's return from his duel.

[Guest Dementuo]

"Well, I guess you end you turn then. Alright, my turn, Draw!" Zero drew his card as his Speed Counters went up again. "I activate my first face-down card! Dragoon Delta Force! I revive my Crystalline Dragon EX! Then, I active my Speed Spell Overboost, then my Dragoon Alpha Force! This raises my Dragon's ATK by 1000! Finally, my last face-down, Crystal Corruption! I tribute my Crystalline Dragon EX to bring both our Life Points down to 0!" Zero explained. "I couldn't have ended this in victory even if I tried. This kid is good." Zero thought.

[The_Duck]

Jerry was disappointed he had lost so easily. "If I had played differently I would have won." thought Jerry. He got on his duel runnner and began driving. Well it was a bad hand, maybe a few tweaks should fix it up He stopped by a pinic table and took out a briefcase. It had all is cards in it including some old support cards. He look at the cards and began seperating his deck into it and began rebulidong the Mech Warriors into a stronger deck. When I'm done with this that kid will get the rematch of a life time

"It's my turn, draw!" Daylien looked down at the card he had just drawn and smiled broadly. "Good to see you old friend," he thought to himself briefly. "I discard my Destiny Hero - Malicious from my hand to special summon Dark Grepher in attack mode. Next I summon Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress and activate her special ability. When she is on the field and switched from attack to defence position, I can destroy one spell or trap card on your field. Say goodbye to yoour central facedown!

"I knew you might try that! I activate 'Valor Cross', the card you just chose! It's effect causes both of our cards to be destroyed, the one that activated the effect, and the one that's being destroyed, which makes no difference in my situation!" A card flipped face-up, revealing a swordsman pointing a sword towards Lyla and shooting a beam towards Lyla and both cards exploded into several iridescent white shards. He flinched at the explosion and added, "An extra effect, if it was a monster, I can draw 1 card, but it can't be played this turn, which is no setback, seeing as it's your turn."

This card can only be activated while you control a face-up "Supreme Hero" monster. If a card you control were to be destroyed by a card effect, destroy the card that destroyed the card you control. If the destroyed card was a monster, you can draw 1 card. It cannot be activated or Summoned the turn it was drawn.

Now I activate the ability of Dark Grepher. By discarding Plaguespreader Zombie from my hand I can also discard Destiny Hero - Plasma from my deck. Now by returning one card from my hand to my deck I can summon Plaguespreader Zombie back to the field! Rise! Now I tune Plaguespreader Zombie to Destiny Hero - Malicious to summon Red Dragon Archfiend in attack mode. Attack my mighty dragon!"

Zetaru gasped as ZetaruArc shattered into oblivion. "As a response, I activate the effect of my 'Valor Dragon' in my Deck! When a Synchro Monster I control is destroyed, I can Special Summon a Valor Token whose name and level is treated as the destroyed monster and 'Valor Dragon'. The downside is any battle damage I take from the token is doubled. Very well, then, continue with your turn." He sighed as he accelerated a little. I don't know if that helped me more than it hurt me.

Jerry finished up his modifications to his deck. He looked at his left arm and it reminded him of what happened that day. He put that thought aside and looked at his new deck. Now to get a rematch He thought. He began looking for Akira. He knew that this match needed to be settled. Then Mech Warrior the Intelligent came out. So are you looking for him asked Intelligent. Jerry looked at intelligent. He was one of Mech Warriors who always used logic to determine his response. It was annoying. Intelligent just smiled and said I could easily find him if you let me and the other spirits search. the city was big and he agreed. Now the question was which ones to pick to search. Only five could go.

Zero returned to the Team Satisfaction Hideout, and noticed Akira there. "Hey, Akira. How've you been? It's been a while since I last saw you. Since Duel Academy, I think. Anyways, I've got a few things that I need to discuss with you, but not out here in the open. Here, come up to the top floor of the Hideout, then we can talk." Zero walked over to the stairs, which led up a few floors, and waited for Akira. "Whenever you're ready." Zero said.

"Hey, Zero!" Akira looked excited to see him. "I've been fine, and my brother has been away on a trip." Akira explained to Zero. "Anyways, that was a pretty intense duel you had with that guy" Akira said, referring to Zackori.

"Anyways, how have you been? After all, it's been a while since we saw each other, hasn't it?" Akira looked around, apparently interested in the hideout. Then, he put his bag down. However, his Duel Disk and Duel Board fell out. "Oops..." Akira went to organize his stuff. Apparently, it came to Zero's attention that Akira had a Duel Board...

[Guest Dementuo]

"Heh. I remember that from the Academy. Still in good shape? Anyways, My brother has been on a trip as well. I know that they're good friends, but that can't be more that coincidence." Zero explained. "And that Zackori kid? Yeah, he even forced my Special card. It's the second Style of Crystalline Dragon, my brother's Ace." Zero continued. "Anyways, I'm going to go and find my brother, and I wanted to know if you wanted to come with me. I would assume so, but I just wanted to be sure. So, what say you?" Zero asked.

"Sure, that sounds fun" Akira replied, almost eager to leave. "Too bad for that guy Jerry" he thought, as he recalled Jerry asking for a rematch. Akira put on his bag and followed Zero. "Also, about that Red-Eyes duelist Zackori... Do you notice something? Blonde hair, Red Eyes as an ace card, a Brooklyn accent? He's just like Joey Wheeler!" Akira exclaimed. Akira was sure that Zero noticed it too, but Zackori had a spirit: the spirit of Red Eyes B. Dragon. "Do you know if he has any Lunar Energy, too?" Akira asked Zero.

"Joey Wheeler? The Duelist who only ever lost to Yugi, the World Champion, and Kaiba, the Founder of KaibaCorp? Hm... Yeah, plus he had a Red-Eyes Spirit. So, does he have any Lunar Energy? Yes, I would suppose so, but just very little. Everyone has Lunar Energy to some degree, but some people have more Lunar Energy than others." Zero explained. "Anyways, We should get going. First, let's go to the Bridge. We can ride over to the City there, and start our Search." Zero continued. Zero got on his D-Wheel. "Whenever you're ready." Zero said.

Akira was thinking about Loki and Thanatos. The aura around them was cold and dark purplish in color. He studied himself and Zero; they had light blue-colored auras. "I suppose I can worry about this later." Akira thought as he rode alongside Zero across the bridge. Then, all of a sudden, 3 Turbo Duelists on their D-Wheels came from behind and surrounded them. "Zero..."

"Heh. This is interesting..." Zero thought.t "Alright, what exactly do you guys want?" Zero asked. Then, Zero noticed that something was out of place. Their formation was familiar to Zero. "This is very interesting..." Zero thought. "Hey, Akira. These guys, they're the reason my brother went out. These guys are our enemy." Zero explained to Akira. "If you think you can take me like this, then you're dead wrong! Crescent Shadow Dragon! Help me out here!" Zero shouted to the sky. Then, the Dragon's Spirit appeared, and headed towards the enemy, claws raised, about to attack.

[Zextra]

"Does this mean that you're a Psychic Duelist? Or is it just that we Guardians can materialize Spirits?" Akira questioned, apparently curious upon seeing Zero's Dragon Spirit take form. The 3 duelists crashed their D-Wheels as they were hit by Zero's dragon. "wow...." Akira muttered to himself, apparently impressed with Zero's maneuver. "So they're our enemy, but what exactly is our enemy?" Akira asked Zero as his Crescent Shadow Dragon disappeared. Zero retracted the spirit back into his card.

"To answer your first question, Guardians have such an enormous amount of Lunar Energy within them, that once they learn to control it, they can use it to transfer the body of a Spirit to the Real World for a short amount of time for such reasons as to avoid danger, or get out of a tight situation. To answer your second question, our enemy is a group of people who wield the Dark Lunar Energy, which is at it's fullest power during New Moons." Zero explained. "I'm not entirely sure myself, nor is my brother, but they wield strange cards that can surpass the Level 12 Limit." Zero continued. "Got all of that?"

[Zextra]

"hmmm....a card that's Level goes past 12...that's interesting, and threatening, too..." Akira thought in response to Zero's explanation. "I gotta remember to try materializing my spirit sometime..." Akira decided. "Yeah, I think I got it all" Akira shouted to Zero, a few lanes down. "However, as always, I have a question: What exactly is Dark Lunar Energy? Back at Duel Academy, we met that guy Yoroi who had Negative Energy, but is that different from Dark Lunar Energy?" Akira asked Zero, feeling the urge to know exactly what they were up against...

"I'm still not sure what the deal with Yackori was, but his Negative Energy was just the Negative Energy of this World, and the Dark Lunar Energy is different from it, though not entirely separate. Dark Lunar Energy is a form of energy that is produced from the depths of the Spirit World. Anyways, Those kinds of High Level Synchros are far more powerful than any Synchro I know of, except one..." Zero trailed off at the end so that Akira could not here them. "Those Synchros are called Infinity Synchros." Zero explained. "They're Powerful, but I'm sure we can overcome them."

Akira looked at Zero. "I see." he said, faintly. "You said: except one. Does that mean you know of a card that's even more powerful than these Infinity Synchros?" Akira asked, seemingly knowing what Zero was about to say. However, Akira remained silent, awaiting Zero's answer. Then, for a minute, Akira stopped, took out his duel disk and attached it onto his Duel Board. He then activated Autopilot on the computer function on his duel disk. Then, he proceeded to link its connection to Zero's D-Wheel signal. Zero's face appeared on Akira's Duel Disk Screen. "This way, it's easier for us to talk" Akira said to the hidden microphone protruding from his helmet.

"I set two cards face down and end my turn." Daylien was feeling confident. He was sure that with the cards he had assembled on the field he could bring this turbo duel to a close within the next couple of turns. As his speed counters rose once more with the beginning of his opponent's turn, he revved his duel runner up another gear. There was just one necessity for his plan to be foolproof. He needed the correct tuner monster on the next draw... "Christ... I've never been one for this heart of the cards nonsense but I could really use a miracle very soon..." he thought dryly as he weaved his way around bits of rubble that probably should not have been there in the first place.

"I do, but I haven't been able to achieve it's requirements yet. It's much harder than I thought. It's nearly ten times as hard to control as Clear Mind and the Accel Synchro, and not even my Brother has been able to accomplish these powerful beasts. The only thing that I know about them is that they are called the "Spirit Synchro". These require enough Lunar Energy to be gathered in a single area that it actually Creates a New Spirit. This is nearly impossible, but once accomplished, they can be used over and over again. The only other thing I know, is that they need a card like this." Zero sent a the image of a card to Akira over the Duel Networking.

 

 

"These cards are Spirit Tuners, or Fusion Tuners. They contain their own amounts of Lunar Energy, and can harvest our Lunar Energyu into that single spot, and create the New Spirit Via Synchro Summon. Understand all of that?"
