Instead of replying verbally, Daylien pushed the button on his runner. "Speed World 2 override. Autopilot, activate. Duel route calculated." Pushing his deck into the slot in his runner, he revved it into overdrive and drew five cards. "First one to the next corner gets to choose the order of the duel!" Daylien bellowed above the snarl of his engine. "I hope you've brought your A-game!" He whooped with glee before speeding forward.

Akira smiled. "Well, I see. First, I activate Mystical Space Typhoon, which destroys your face-down! Next, I activate my Spell Card: Black Whirlwind! Then, I'm summoning my Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame (ATK:1800)! Then, Black Whirlwind adds my Blackwing - Bora the Spear to my hand! Next, I'm Special Summoning it in Attack Position (ATK:1700). First, Shura will attack Mech Speed Warrior! (Jerry LP:3100). Next, Shura Special Summons my Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind! Next, my remaining monsters will attack your remaining Mech Warriors! (Jerry LP:1900). Next, I'll place 1 card face down!"

First I MST your face-down

I special summon Mech warrior the blade

THen I discard Mech warrior the fortress and Mech warrior the intelligent to summon mech warrior fortess from my graveyard to the field in defense mode. and with his effect i summon mech warrior the mighty to the field.

Next I normal summon Mech Warrior the old which allows me to search my deck for one spell card and add it to my hand.

Then I play "Power Arm of dimesions"

Now The blade attacks Shura

"Since power arm's effect destroys all my cards at the end phase of my turn I think I'll just play this card facedown. now since I'm ending my turn my cards are destroyed, but I get to special summon a level 4 or lower monster. I choose Mech warrior the Intelligent in defense mode. all my cards may be gone, but I still have a trick up my sleeve when I end my turn and before you draw. I activate Reforceing the army. THis allows me to special summon two monsters to the field if you have 3 or more. And I summon 2 Mech warrior the terror in defense mode as well" this should hold him thought Jerry.

As it approached lunchtime, Sari left the table where she had been seated, replacing the deck she had been examining into her right hip deckbox and rising to her feet, keeping the purple hood of her cloak over her head, and walking down the street towards the deli. There, she purchased a sub and returned to the street to eat. She always preferred to be on the move in the city while eating, since she spent much of her day seated, telling the fortunes of passerby who became curious. It was more of a hobby than a job, of course, but the small pay was something, at least.

 

It was rather quiet so far this morning, but this did not trouble her. She was reminded that calms often came before the storm, but the storms could be faced head on.

Half my life points my be a rather large price to pay, but at least it'll stop your Plasma Dragon!" Plasma Dragon appeared, only to then vanish, and Zero's dragon vanished along with it, as Crystalline Bond Maker's effect sent it to the Grave. "My turn, Draw! Well, that was a long turn. At least I got rid of your Darkness Dragon. Anyways, First, I activate Dust Tornado, destroying your trap, then, I activate my Call of the Haunted Trap Card! This lets me revive my fallen Red-Eyes! Then, using it's effect, I can summon my Blue-Eyes, and finally, I sacrifice my Blue-Eyes for Strong Wind Dragon! (ATK 3900/DEF 1000) Since you have nothing Face-Down, this Duel is over! I activate my Dragoon Spirit card! This card only requires 4 Speed Counters, which I have, and now, my Red-Eyes' Attack get's Doubled! Plus, I activate my Crystalline Bond Maker's second effect! By removing the monster that was Special Summoned through his effect, you can't activate the effects of Monsters this turn! This is the end for you!" Zero said, as his Red-Eyes launched a Fireball of it's own at the Pitch-Black Dragon, and the other fired off a gust of wind at Zackori.

"Let's do a field count: You have no face-downs, no cards in your Hand, and 3 monsters. To make matters even worse, it's my turn, so I draw. Unfortunately for you, I said the card in my hand would win the duel for me, and it seems that way. Your Mech Warrior the Intelligent cannot be affected by Traps, but it's not immune to this! Lightning Vortex. By discarding the only other card in my Hand, this card destroys all face-up monsters you control, and since all your monsters are face-up, they're all destroyed! Finally, my Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind attacks and ends this duel!" The small blackbird shot a dark gust at Jerry, and Akira watched as Jerry's Life Points meter dropped from 1300 to 0.

Flinching at the announcement of utilizing Speed World, Zetaru quickly activated his Duel Mode, but did not activate autopilot. Spirit Zetaru wished him luck and faded away. "Same to you!" He yelled and pressed hard on the accelerator, bringing him to speeds similar to that of an Accel Synchro. He slowed down to a speed where he was visible and turned. "Very well! I go first!" He took the first card out of his Deck Slot and placed it in his Hand on the side of his left arm. "My turn, draw! I Special Summon 'Supreme Hero - Saber Warrior' by his effect! While I control no monsters, I can Special Summon him from my hand with 0 ATK and DEF! Next, I Summon 'Supreme Hero - Zetaru'! I Tune the 2 to bring out the Supreme Guardian! Come forth, 'Supreme Hero - ZetaruArc - Knight of Redemption'!" He placed 3 cards face-down and declared, "Turn End!"

"Monsters aren't the only effects I can activate from my deck." Zackori stated "The Infernity Blocker is a Spell Card that I can activate ONLY from my deck. Let's remove my final two Speed Counters and use its effect!" Zackori declared as a giant portal appeared and took the attacks and ended the Battle Phase "(I need to draw the right card. Just one more card and I can win this!)" Zackori thought.

"Hmph. You aren't bad. I set two cards face down, and end my turn." Zero said. "This kid is pretty good. He forced me to use my Crystalline cards already, and I rarely use those anyways. Even so, there's just something about him. Something... off... I just don't know what." Zero thought to himself. "He's got pretty good Deck, I'll give him that, but still. He's going too fast, not thinking things through enough. He nearly lost, but I still have my two face-downs." Zero continued in his head.

Loki was testing his new engine when he rode past the two duelists, he noticed the attack negation so he decided to spin his runner around and go to auto pilot and watch the duel from in front of them, he used his runners computer and technically 'Hacked' their runners and saw the events of the duel, Hm, so they both use dragons only one of them is also playing a gamble deck, though the way things are looking he has to run out of luck and it looks like it just happened. He watched as he drew his card, Loki wondered if the mans luck has run out.

Akira stepped on his Duel Board and rode back to the duel. He noticed Loki and boarded over to him, where he confronted him. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" Akira looked at the man, who looked at him. Akira knew that the guy must have been beliittling him, seeing as how Akira was only 13. However, Akira kept his glare. "Also, why have you hacked into their duel?" Akira demanded, apparently upset.

Loki was surprised by the comment, he just wanted to see how the duels had gone before he got their so he hacked them to search their history to see how the duel started and what had happened, and besides that how had this person known he did that. ...I don't see what your problem is I just wanted to see what I missed in the duel, he looked at the kids Duel Board and smirked. It had been a while since he last saw one seeing as no one manufactured them so he felt a little nostalgic, Nice Board been a while since I've seen one and I'm glad you take care of it.

Zackori drew his card "!!!!!!!! I summon! Dimension Dragon in attack mode!" [ATK: 1900] "This is the best part. He can destroy ANY number of Spells and Traps on the field and I can put a Dimension counter on him for each card destroyed!" Zackori declared as Zero's three spells and traps were destroyed "Now that you don't have Future Fusion. AND those two face-downs! I activate the effect of my Dimension Dragon! I sacrifice him to summon one card from my Extra Deck ignoring it's summoning conditions! I summon! Red-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" [ATK: 4000] "Red-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! Attack his Red-Eyes! Go Inferno Destruction Blast! Like I said! You are not worthy of the Red-Eyes!"

"oh, I-I'm sorry." Akira apologized to the man. "I thought you were sabotaging their duel or something" Akira admitted. "My name is Akira. It's nice to meet you" Akira introduced himself as his serious face softened into a much more angelic expression. "P-please forgive me for being so rude" Akira stated as he bowed respectfully to the man. "oh, and the Duel Board, yeah. I'm only 13 so I can't get a license yet for a real Duel Runner"

"Hmph. You really are ignorant, aren't you? I was prepared for that!" Zero said. "Before you summoned your Dimension Dragon, I activated my Spell Barrier Trap, and my Threatening Roar Trap, so my Future Fusion is safe, and because your Dimension Dragon can only summon if I have no spells or traps, your monster stays where it is!" Zero said, as his now face-up cards were destroyed, but not before their effects could kick in. "Looks like this Duel is over for you." Zero said.

Loki chuckled at the kids suddenly change in attitude, he remembered when he was younger the thought of sabotaging duels was nothing strange to him and he might have if it turned out these two were just wimps with some good cards but he was thoroughly enjoying this duel. It's no problem, and my name is Loki it's nice to meet you, and even without a license its still pretty hard to get your hands on a duel board so you should be proud of it, so have you learned anything from their match.

"Well, I just got here. I was dueling someone off the track and came here to look for my friend. That's why I came here, and it seems he's In a duel" Akira stated, looking down. "So, are you into dueling too, mister?" Akira wanted to know Loki's true skills, as he felt a dark aura around Loki. However, though Akira was trying to hide his intentions, Loki still seemed to notice that something wasn't quite right.

"I knew you'd do that! That's why I have this deck! Just for chains like that! I activate the effect of Monster Corrupter in my deck! This effect can only be activated from my deck with a chain link of two or higher. The card effects still go through. But I gain control of one monster in your extra deck! And I choose your Five-Headed Dragon!" Zackori declared as the two hands of the strange machine went over to Zero's Duel Runner and took the Five-Headed Dragon from his Extra Deck and appeared on Zackori's side of the field. Zackori sent Monster Corrupter to the graveyard "(Too bad he doesn't know of it's other effect. I made sure the second effect is completely invisible to any Duel Runner except for mine.)" Zackori thought with a smirk.

Loki looked over to the kid, it was obvious that the kid suspected something, Akira wasn't the deceptive type and if he wanted to trick the trickster then he would need to work a lot harder at it. DO you think I'd have a duel runner if I didn't like dueling besides why would I be watching their duel, though I've pretty much figured them out, they both use dragon decks but one of them focuses on Red-Eyes effects from his deck and most of all gambling were the other uses counters and special summoning, there both risky decks especially against each others deck, it's like watching two snakes trying to strangle each other.

"You really think that THAT would work on me? I'll show you the True Power of the Dragon-Type! I activate my own card from the Deck! Dragoon Spiritosis! This negates the activation of one of your Spell, Trap, or Monster Effects, and removes it from play! Then, I can add a card of the same type to my hand from my Deck, and I choose this! Speed Fusion! You can't do anything else, so just end your turn!" Zero said, as the hands faded before they could come into contact with Zero's D-Wheel.

"I see" Akira replied. This man seemed nice, yet the dark aura that surrounded him begged to differ. "Should I trust him?" Akira asked to himself. "so, when did you first start getting interested in dueling?" Akira asked Loki. Akira looked around At Zero and Zackori and saw that Zero had the upper hand. He smiled, knowing that Zero would win eventually. However, he couldn't stop noticing the aura - it almost felt like it had a will of its own...

Loki looked at the kid then thought for a second, whether the kid believed him or not his reaction should be pretty funny. I can't remember when I started dueling but I believe it was a few thousand years ago though the Duel Runners made it a lot more fun, I'm surprised I didn't think about it. Loki was completely serous when he said this and if what he said wasn't so ridiculous it would be completely believable.

"Wait a second! A few thousand years?! Y-You're one of them!" Akira was shocked. Back at Duel Academy, he had dueled one of these people. The one he dueled referred to himself as Than, and when they dueled, it was for souls. Back then, Than accidentally revealed himself to be 7000 years old, much like Loki. Akira thought for a while, then felt flustered on how quick he was to accuse the man.
