This is between me and War Torn. He will decide the card requirements for the card. 3 votes to win, 2 reps to winner.

 

card requirements:

1. Must be an effect monster

2. Must be a Level 5 monster

3. Can't be Special Summoned

4. Must have an attack negation effect

5. Must be an EARTH monster

This card cannot be Special Summoned. While this card is in Defence Position, each time a monster you control, besides this one, is attacked, the attack is negated. During your End Phase, if this card is in Defence Position, increase it's DEF by 200.

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card can only be Set by Tributing 1 Warrior-Type monster. While this card is in face-up Defense Position, your opponent can only select this card as an attack target. This Defense Position card cannot be destroyed by battle and any Battle Damage this card's controller takes from battles involving this card is reduced to 0. If this card is switched to Attack Position, destroy it.

Smesh gets my vote for being more balanced. Smesh, your card only has minor ocg errors. War Torn, your card has great ocg, but the effect seems kinda unbalanced, there aint no "can't be destroyed by battle" with stats as high as yours cept Darkness Neosphere. Your card however doesnt have any drawbacks, unless you count the attack position switch which isnt very practical fro your opponent to take advantage of.

 

also, though i didnt count this into my vote, wasnt one of the requirement to make a attack negation effect? your card is missing that wartorn, its just a wall lol

I vote Smesh's card. War Torn's effect of "You can only attack this card, but it can't be destroyed and you can't take damage from it" creates a rather OP'ed paradox. Smesh's relatively low stats, especially for a level 5 monster, give the opponent some chance for saving themselves in its early stages of existence.
