Once per turn, during your Battle Phase, you can double this cards ATK and decrease it's DEF by half. If this card attacks an opponents monster and destroyes it, after damage calculation, decrease this cards ATK by half. This card is switched to defence position after this effect is used. If this card is destroyed while it's DEF is below 800, you lose 1200 Life Points.

I vote for the first card.

 

Both have OCG errors, he second one has small errors. But, the first card has a more creative effect that I like more, although it is slightly bordering UP but also balanced.

10 votes? lol, this is gonna take a while godpuppy.

 

Godpuppy: balance, not that great. Double attack means you double any attack bonuses, like from solidarity or equips, making this a beast with good support, double original attack would be more better. also, its implied that if the monster isnt destroyed, your double attack is permanent, so this card can go unchecked when facing marshmallon or somethin like that.

originality, is good!! classic high risk high reward but in its own way.

OCG, capitalize Defence Position, i believe change is the prefered word choice over switch, but overall pretty good ocg.

 

merlin: balance, good. its a hard to get out card due to avian's low stats and no co-support with fairies but you get a decent effect.

originality, other than the unique synchro materials, not so much. the effect is kinda simple and unoriginal.

ocg, i've actually seen alot of your cards now and you repeat the same ocg errors:

1 Fairy-Type Tuner Monster + "Elemental Hero Avian"

Once per turn, you can send 1 card you control to the Graveyard to draw 1 card.

I'm assuming you can send any card including spell/traps, thus you want to use send vs tribute since you can't tribute spell/traps

 

Thus, i vote for Godpuppy for better originality and OCG.
