The Crimson King
After continuously running my Flamvell Cats in the tourneys, I found them to be very unreliable when facing decks that spammed field control. In an attempt to counter the most popular decks being played at the time, I built this. Monsters:161xGorz1xC Sorc2xKycoo2xWanghu2xBreaker3xBanisher2xDDWL3xJuJu Spells:112xD Fissure3xShrink2xVortex2xOfferings to the Doomed(a non trap monster destruction that can be played on opponent's turn. Overlooked imo.)1xStorm1xB Con Traps:142xBottomless2xTrap Hole2xOppression2xD Prison2xKarma Cut1xStarlight1xSolemn1xForce1xTT
GenzoTheHarpist
I tried something like this and it sucked like you wouldn't even believe. However if you do want to go that route Raigeki Break is >>>> Offerings to the Doomed. Also, why not just run the frognarchs?

If they fail, I'll do as you suggested, but I think that they're better than you believe. I won't run Frognarchs because I was borrowing the 3 faders from someone, and now they're using their own Frognarchs, so I can't borrow them anymore. But at least they'll be reprinted. GenzoTheHarpist
How are they in any way better than Raigeki break? You see lots of good decks this format running break. You see zero good decks in any format running offerings. There is a reason for this; destroying cards > destroying monsters only, and discarding > not drawing. The Crimson King
Well, I'll agree with you on the fact that destroying any card and discarding are better than only destroying face up monsters and not drawing, but I would like to point out that Offerings is a quick play, while Raigeki Break is a trap. The problem with the latter for me is that I cannot activate it the turn I draw it, making me unable to quickly recover from massive field advantage a player has set up a turn earlier. And the fact that some decks choose to run Raigeki Break does not mean that I absolutely have to run it in place of a tech that I favor. The decks that are being netdecked were original at some point, and by trying different things you see if they work or not(which can then lead to better variants of already existing decks). -Griffin
If you're running Offerings, I'd look to add in Reckless, since they cancel out each other's downsides.

What would you suggest taking out?
The Crimson King
Tried out the Recklesses, and they ended up just getting in the way. This is the newest and latest edit.
