~Riku~
This is just an experimental concept, I'll start with one, and if it's not h@ted (?), I'll make others. Anyway, this concept revolves around Fusions that have effects (usually awesome ones), even though their materials are Normal Monsters. Also, the Normal Monsters will be ones that are a) long-forgotten, or b) never published in English. Here we go! Dark Curtain of the AdjudicatorSpellcaster-type/DARK/Level 4/ATK 1200/DEF 1100"Candle of Fate"+"Curtain of the Dark Ones"Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, roll a six-sided die. If the result is 1-3, destroy 1 monster on the field. If the result is 4-6, destroy this card. Special Summon it during the End Phase. Here are the materials! I hope to make more! Rate/hate/let the Fusing begin! What? Seven views and NOTHING? Seriously people. Link to comment
The True Ace Attorney
The Fusion seems quite lacking. Especially as there are much better and more easily accessible alternatives. Such as Snipe Hunter. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
Yeah, Snipe Hunter DOES outclass this by a bit. And don't get angry with 7 views. Get angry with 30. Link to comment
~Riku~
Hmmm, yes. Suggestions on improvements? Anyway, here's another one: Lord of CemetaryZombie-type/DARK/Level 8/ATK 2700/DEF 1900"The 13th Grave"+"Mammoth Graveyard"+"Skull Servant"Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 monster from either player's Graveyard. It loses 800 ATK and DEF. Once per turn, you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of cards in either you or your opponent's Graveyard x 200 points. If you do this, this card cannot attack this turn. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
That's a little more like it. The point is to increase interest in the monsters, and decent fusions like that one make them runnable. Link to comment
The True Ace Attorney
That's a better one. But you should change the "Once per turn, inflict damage" to "Once per turn, you can inflict damage" or it stops that monster from attacking. That first one though... Try making it more powerful. Up the ATK and DEF and make its effect more destructive. Something similar to Time Wizard would be decent. As in "If you roll a 1 destroy all monsters on your opponents side of the field. 2-3 destroy 1 card on your opponents side of the field, 4-5 destroy 1 card on your side of the field, 6 destroy all monsters on your side of the field." Doesn't have to be that effect but it should be a relatively strong one. Link to comment
玄魔の王
I think I can get in on this. SaberposeidonEARTHLevel: 9[Dinsoaur/Fusion/Effect]"Sabersaurus" + "Frostosaurus"Once per turn, you can select 2 monsters your opponent controls whose Levels are lower than this card's. Send those monsters to the Graveryard. If you activate this effect, no other monsters you control can attack this turn. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards, Trap Cards or Effect Monsters' Effects until the end of the Damage Step.ATK/ 3200DEF/ 2500 Two Normal Beatsticks make a tank. Go Dinos! Link to comment
~Riku~
Yeah! I encourage people to get in on this. Alter Form SlimeAqua-type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0"Change Slime"+"Humanoid Slime"+"Frog the Jam"When this card attacks or is attacked, this card's Level, ATK and DEF become the Level, ATK and DEF of the attacked or attacking monster. Then, flip a coin. If heads, this card gains 500 ATK and DEF until the End Phase. If tails this card loses 500 ATK and DEF until the End Phase. Link to comment
CrabHelmet
Remember that you're asking people to assemble a 3- or 4-card combo and then incur a -2 or -3 in terms of Card Advantage to Summon these - not to mention the inherent cost of running cards like Polymerization and these weak Vanillas. The effects you're giving these cards are too weak to justify that cost, especially the ones that have a 50-50 chance of simply self-destructing. Link to comment
~Riku~
Um...Uh...Well, they don't have to make cards like that. Link to comment
The True Ace Attorney
He means that the cards you've made aren't too safe as they are made of weak monsters that aren't good to play on their own and the fusions made have a 50/50 chance of self-destruction. Link to comment

We're getting more and more smart newbies. I like it. You and Seafood Brain are right; but the point of this exercise is to involve the normal monsters in something. It's a bit of card-creating fun as a community thread. Half the sheet we create on this webiste isn't realistic anyway; let's have some f**king fun with it shall we? Link to comment

.:MrTweetums:.
I have to say I personally like the concept, now a days, almost every new monster made has some crazy effect, there aren't many normals any more, and it kinda sucks. I mean, sure normals aren't the best anymore, but when the Yu-Gi-Oh card game started, most of the monster were normal, so I really like this thread cause it brings back memorys of old favorites. Mammoth Graveyard ftw!:D I might make one, if I can think of good fusion material. Link to comment
~Riku~
That's awesome, everyone! Hold that thought: Darkland RulerMachine-type/DARK/Level 8/ATK 2600/DEF 2100"Cyber Soldier of Darkworld"+"Darkworld Thorns"As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all other DARK monsters you control gain 800 ATK. If this card is attacked, you can pay 400 Life Points to switch the attack target to another DARK monster you control. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 DARK monster you control to inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's Level x200 points. Let's keep this party going! Link to comment
