Felix, the first Masevi in the Masevi project, was roaming across the ruins of New York city, having heard reports from a lieutenant that there were going to be protests today. "Hmm," he said, his tone not rising, "It seems that I got a bit of misinformation. The lieutenant will not like to hear that." Felix had a gruesome plan in mind for the soldiers who lied to him, adn as the strongest of all the Masevi, he normally didn't travel in packs like the rest of them did. He often found contact with the human Masevi to be excruciatingly irritating, so he tended to stay away from humans. Rainier Merlo was sitting on a rock in the middle of the path that he had formed into a chair while his partner, Jett Szabo was standing next to him. "We've got to find that other one the Lightbearer mentioned. That'll complete are platoon, so we need to find them so we don't fall out of favor," Rainier said. In fact, the person he had mentioned was listening in to the conversation as they spoke, hiding up in the trees.
Envoy of Twilight
Brandon walked down the road quietly. His lance was on his arm and he was wearing his gloves. People just stared at him as he walked by with his red cloak on. Thanks to the cloak, they could not see his face. Brandon had no business with these people anyway. He had business with these...heroes they call themselves. Brandon found this somewhat amusing. "Heroes?", he thought. "They are just little pawns in the bigger game....and I assure you that Master Felix will have checkmate..", he thought to himself. As he walked, the road started to get bumpy, like something happened to the ground nearby. It didn't bother him, but he did make sure to remember it. Felix Culpa
"What's the nearest city?" Rainier asked, thinking out loud. "I've got a feeling we're getting closer to Savannah, but I'm not entirely sure." He started to think back to all the places he had been in the past few months since he met the Lightbearer. He had already hiked from Louisiana up through Alabama, where he found Jett and had some problems with the local officials when he had revealed his powers to Jett, causing a large scene in the middle of the town, where once again, his Earth Hammer Staff proved useful, as he formed a sword and he and Jett walked out of the town without hurting anyone. He had crossed the Alabama-Georgia border about 6 days previously, avoiding any major towns, because that's where the Atrum had placed soldiers, but they had to make a stop in Savannah, because the Lightbearer told them to. Masevi 10, Sebastian, was with one of the Generals of Atrum's psychic army, talking about the uproar in the suburbs the other day. A group of civilians was starting a riot and burning an outpost base in the suburbs of Savannah, so the Army decided to station there for a few more days. Azure Flame Kite
"Feh," Revy grunted, playing with the large wad of hundred dollar bills she had obtained for her 'services' as she walked down the streets of the ever-sunny Miami. "I save twenty people, and all I get is fifteen grand? Bulls#$%." Honestly, that Burn Notice show was full of crap. Revy had decided to try it out, since she was most definitely not going to take a job that didn't involve killing people,

Revy had decided to try and imitate this Michael Westen guy by taking jobs to protect people for money, since she was most definitely not going to take a job that didn't involve killing people, so killing people to save other people was just as good, right? Wrong. This s#$t didn't even compare to her time with the Black Lagoon. Hell, she doubted even the darkest underworld here would compare to what she did back in Roanapour. Felix Culpa
Rainier was on his way to Savannah now, and it would be more than difficult. Passing through a small suburb, he had to stop a riot before the army stepped in and found him, though he was more worried about the rumors that the legendary assassin Scorpion had been seen around here. He'd be in the city in a few hours, so he just wanted to make sure he wouldn't face too much military resistance entering the town. Most large cities had enormous walls all the way around, and you had to have a country I.D. to get in, which none of the heroes had, but Rainier happened to scrape up a fake I.D. "God, I'm tired of all this walking at night," Rainier said, "But I guess it's inevitable when we're outlaws."
