The next Mamodo battle! - A Zatch Bell RP - ( Started, Accepting in OOC )

*TIME SKIP!!*

 

"Masako wake up!" The bed bounced as Yuri hopped on it in an attempt to get his parnter up. However, said partner only groaned and pulled the covers over her head. "Come on, you said that you'd take me to the park."

 

"I said that yesterday." Masako countered from under the sheets, that was soon yanked off of her. "But you never did take me. So come on, please." Yuri pouted in his adorable way, and Masako fell pray to it. She rolled her eyes and sung her feet to the edge of the bed. "Fine...Let me get ready." She got up and did her morning routine. She and Yuri then went downstairs entering a quiet kitchen. "Guess dad had to get in early...We usually have breakfast together..." Masako looked down the sadness in her eyes seemed to have magnified in a bref second before being pushed back. "Anyway, let's have breakfast. I take it you want fish again?"

 

Yuri nodded grinning, "Yep! I was surprised when I first came down here! That chocolate stuff is almost good as fish." She smiled and got him some fish, while she ate ceral. Soon both left the house and made their way to the park.

{BEEP!!! BEEP!!!} Yoh awoke to the sound of his alarm clock. You tiredly turned off his alarm and sat up on his bed. "{YAWN!!!} Man, I don't wanna go to school...." Yoh said tiredly. Vent was already up and around. "It's summer vacation remember Yoh? You don't have school." Vent reminded Yoh. "Huh? Oh right, yes! I guess I can sleep in for today yeah!!!!" Yoh exclaimed. "Why would you want to sleep in on such a beautiful day like today?" Vent asked. "Because I can...." Yoh answered. The door then opened with Yoh's mom coming in. "Hey Yoh, Vent's right, on such a beautiful day like today you should get out of the house and go do something." Yoh's mom stated. "{Sigh} Fine...."

 

After finishing his morning routine, Yoh and Vent exited the house and began walking. "Where are we going?" Vent asked. "I don't know, the park I guess...." Yoh replied tiredly. "The park? Are you doing something there?" Vent sked curiously. "Yeah, taking a nap on the bench so don't bother me...." Yoh replied. "What am I suppose to do?"

 

"I don't know, go run away and play with the birds or something. I just needed an excuse to sleep in anyways...." Yoh and Vent soon arrived at the park where they sat down on a bench. "{Yawn} Great, now I feel sleepy but I can't sleep...." Yoh said. "Then let's go play or something." Vent said. "I'm still tired you know...." Yoh responded.

"Alright I win!!" Yuri screamed throwing his arms in the air. Masako ran up next to him a few seconds later breathing heavily. "The only reason you won is because I'm still recovering from last night." "Yeah, yeah whatever you say-Hey look! It's Vent and Yoh!" Yuri ran over to them while yelling, "Hey Vent you'll never guess who I ran into last night! It was Razor!" Masako watched Yuri run off shaking her head. "Why couldn't I have gotten a quiet Mamodo? But no, I had to get one of the energetic ones." She hung her head a miniture storm cloud over her head, "All I wanna do is stay home...Why me?"

Vent was running around chasing pigeons when he heard a familiar voice. Vent the looked up to see Yuri. "Hi Yuri!" Vent said as he waved happily. "Hmm, hey there Yuri." Yoh said with a smile. "You look energetic as ever." Yoh stated. "That's Yuri for ya." Vent said. "Razor? You mean that nice mamodo that we helped out in the mamodo world? Razor was a really nice person. So where did you meet him?" Vent asked curiously. "(Hmm, Razor? These two really must have a lot of friends in the Mamodo World huh? I guess that's a good thing.... If Yuri is here, then that means Masako must be close by.)" Yoh thought to himself as he quickly sat upright and fixed his clothing and hair nervously.

[Grunt Issun]

"GAYRA! GAAAAYYYYRRRRAAAAA! GAYRAGAYRAGAYRAGAYRAGAYRAGAYRAGAYRAGAYRAGAYRA! GAAAAYRA!" Reum shout jumping on Gayras bed trying to wake him up, "WAAAAAK UUUUUUUUP!" Reum kept shouting, "WHAT REUM!" Gayra shouted when he woke up, "Lets go to the park Gayra" Reum said cheerfuly, "Reum! We played tag for an hour yesterday, and now you want to go to the park? We havent even had breakfast!" Gayra complained, "Ok, then have breakfast, AND THEN WE CAN GO PLAY IN THE PARK! COME ON YOU CAN JUST LAY ON A BENCH I JUST WANNA PLAY! PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAASE GAYRA!" Reum pleaded, "Fine, alright, lets go, we can pick up some breakfast at the park I guess" Gayra gave in, "YAY!" When they arived in the park they already noticed Vent, "HEY ITS VENT!" Reum said, and ran up to him, "HIII VENT!" He then saw Yuri, "Hey your that one girl...Yuri...wait, I think im forgeting somthing...oh wait I know, YOUR A GUY!" Reum said, "Ooh, Reum, always so happy, hey wait, if Vents here" Gayra said, and turned his head, "Then Yoh is here too" He saw Yoh fixing his hair and clothes, "HEY YOH!"

Yuri grinned at Vent. "Yeah, that's the one. But...He had a mean partner. He was being forced to fight, so Masako and I didn't really have a choice. But on the bright side he's back home waiting for us! He wanted me to tell you hi." He said a few seconds before Reum came up to them. "Finally! It's about time you got it right!!" Yuri yelled at Reum. "Oh guess what you two. I finally learned my second spell! It's awesome!!"

 

Once Masako pulled herself back together she noticed Yoh trying to fix himself up. Why, she had no clue. As she was walking over Gayra got to Yoh first. "Hello you two. Seems like we all had the same idea." She greeted them softly a rather indifferent look on her face.

Yoh messed up his hair after being yelled at by Gayra. "Oh great...." Yoh said as he fixed his hair once again. "Hey Gayra, nice to see you. (And I was hoping to have some alone time with Masako.... {Sigh} If life gives you lemons make lemonade I guess....)" Yoh thought to himself as he depressingly lowered his head. Yoh then raised his head and looked at Gayra. "So what brings you to the park Gayra?" Yoh asked curiously. "Hi Reum, I see you're well, even more energetic than Yuri this morning, hehe." Vent said with a calm smile. "A mean partner? Well, I'm glad that he's back in the mamodo world...." Vent said. "Your second spell huh? That's really awesome. Yesterday I successfully used my third spell against this really mean mamodo and his partner." Vent said. "Oh hi there Masako." Yoh said with a smile. "Well the park was suppose to be the only place that's quiet for me to get a quick nap, hehe." Yoh said scratching the back of his head.

[Grunt Issun]

Gayra saw what was going on, and decided he should leave them alone, "Hey I think im going to go play with Vent, Reum, and...that one...girl...guy...person" Gayra said and laughed, "Hey guys whats goin on, We learned our third spell last night, but it takes so much energy, its hard to do, A little to hard more any battle, right Reum" Gayra said, "Thats right, It destroys anything in seconds! Oh yeah, and these guys got new spells to Gayra" Reum said, "Oh cool"

"Yuri is a little lagging behind, but I'm sure he'll learn his third spell soon. Maybe we can train one of these days, although afterwards I would really need some hamburgers and a big nap." Vent said. "My third spell was pretty powerful in itself, it completely destroyed my opponent's attack and then caused incredible damage. That mamodo I fought deserved it though. He was really mean and acted too bloodthirsty." Vent said. "So did you encounter anyone last night?" Vent asked towards Gayra and Reum. Yoh akwardly sat there when Gayra left. "So Masako.... did Yuri make any improvements on training?" Yoh asked.

Masako watched Gayra leave. "Why did he leave?" She questioned herself before turning to look at Yoh. "Well I had promised Yuri that I would bring him here yesterday...But time got away from us. So after he disturbed a rater good dream of mine, we came here." Masako sat down next to Yoh. When he asked about the training she smiled widely. "Oh yes! It was the first time we used our first spell but we got it down. We've also figured out different ways to use it. Not only that but we also learned our second spell. It was a very prodictive day."

 

"That's only because Masako was too worried to fight. Especially after seeing someone else lose their mamodo." Yuri said pouting and crossing his arms. "Yeah we can have a...Three way battle! That would be so cool!"

"Uhh who knows, well he's younger than the two of us so maybe he's more sociable with other kids, not that I'm saying your bad with children or anything, hahaha...." Yoh said with a nervous laugh. "(Ugh.... Get a hold of yourself Yoh, you're not even sure if she feels the same way so stop making a fool of yourself....)" Yoh thought to himself as he wiped his forehead. Yoh smiled at Masako and gave her a thumbs up. "Hey awesome, it looks like training for you guys been going great, and it's always good to know how to use a spell in different ways, that'll give you more options on the battlefield instead of just a head-on attack." Yoh said.

 

After hearing what Yuri said, Yoh just placed his hand on the back of his head ans gave a wide smile. "Hey that's alright Masako, I know it's difficult to see someone losing their mamodo, but you've gotta remember, that mamodos aren't dying but rather being sent back to their world where they can live on with their friends. And the mamodo will always have the memories of the good times with it's owners so it'll be okay to battle." Yoh reassured Masako. "A three way battle? That could be fun. And whoever wins get to have some kind of prize. Knowing me it would be thirty hamburgers." Vent said with a wide smile.

[Grunt Issun]

Reum backed down from Yuri after being yelled at "Well its not easy to see" he grumbled, then heared the three way battle idea, "That sounds fun, hey Gayra, we want to do a three way battle, what do you say!?" Reum yelled out to Gayra, "Sure Reum, but you guys are going to need to stand really far away, I mean really far away, if your anywhere near our third spell, well, try not to think about that, and just stand, FAR away from your mamodo," Gayra said and laughed, Reum chuckled a little too, Gayra also heared Yoh talking about him and turned back "HEY YOU LISTEN! YOU KNOW WHY I LEFT! Besides, the Mamodo are much younger then me!" Gayra yelled at Yoh

"I know that...That they'll go back to the Mamodo world, but I just dont-" Masako sighed pushing the sadness that began creeping to the surface. "Nevermind, it's not your burfen to bare." She then turned to Yuri. "I guess if you an to battle then we can."

 

"Yes!! And the losers pay for dinner!" Yuri exclaimed throwing his arms up. "You guys wanna play hide-and-seek All this talking is getting boring. Human's againts Mamodos, and this bench will be base. If even one of us make it to the bench then we win, but if you guys find and atch all of us then you win. Sounds fun right?" Masako shrugged. "Im in...It's been a long time since I've played that game. So you boys in or out?"

[Mr. Pipinpapancopalopolas]

"Yeah of course were in!" Reum shouted, "REUM! WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE!" Gayra shouted, "Well of course, you have to play" Reum said cheerfully, "But I played with you for an hour last night" Gayra said and put his head down, knowing no matter what he said wouldnt change the fact that Reum was going to make him play, "Fine, I'll play" Gayra said, almost sadly, and sat down on the bench, and put his hand in his hair, "Well, it is a beautiful day, we cant put it to waste, infact, do you guys really think we should be battling on such a nice day, we can just play all day, right Reum?" Gayra said, wanting to enjoy such a nice day, "huh? Play all day? THAT! SOUNDS! SO! AWSOME!"

"Burden?" Yoh said quietly to himself. Yoh then turned back to the others. "Hide and seek? Umm, sure, guess there's nothing more to do huh? And I agree on not battling on a day like this." Yoh stood up from the bench. Vent smiled and looked at the other mamodos. "This is gonna be fun, and I already know that we're gonna win right guys?" Vent asked the other mamodos to boost up each other's confidence. "Hehe, sorry Vent, but the humans are gonna win." Yoh said. "We'll see about that Yoh. If we win, then you guys'll have to buy us something." Vent said. "Alright, and if we win, umm.... Hmm, what do you guys have to offer us?" Yoh asked as he continues to ponder on the human's prize.

"How about if we win you three have to do one thing for us no matter what it may be. As long as it's nothing that will get them hurt, or something illigal." Masako offered saying the last part mostly for Yoh and Gayra. Yuri though for a while and shrugged, "Whatever, it's not like you slowpokes are going to win." She only smiled, "We'll just see about that Yuri. By the way you guys can only hide in this area, and can't go outside the park. Understood?" Masako wanted to make sure none of them tried to hide too far and either get hurt or run into another mamodo.

"Alright, deal, but like Yuri said, you slowpokes won't find us." Vent said with a smile. "Hehe, then you guys better find a good hiding spot." Yoh responded. "(Hmm, what should I make Vent do if- no, when we win. Hmm, I guess I could make him clean my room, I'm too lazy to clean it myself and Vent is usually energetic in the early morning like this so it would be great if he cleaned my room. I guess I could buy him a hamburger afterwards too, as a thank you.)" Yoh thought deeply to himself. "Are you thinking of what to buy for me when the mamodos win Yoh?" Vent asked. "Huh? No way, we humans'll win hands down." Yoh replied.

[Grunt Issun]

"Sure, that sounds like a fair deal, so, I guess we should get started then huh?" Reum said, "Yep, so are we clear on the rules, we have to hide in the park, if the mamodo are found, they have to do somthing for us, if even one of them reaches the bench, we have to buy them somthing, Clear?" Gayra said, he was one of those people who could keep on somthing good, so it was common for him to remember everything, and make sure others are clear on them, "So, what do you think I should have Gayra buy me when we win Vent?" Reum asked Vent, and Gayra turned to him, "Hey, dont count on winning yet, your just little kids, were grown adults" Gayra replied.

"Alright, since we're all clear on the rules and everything, we should get started." Yoh said while stretching his arms. "Well Reum, I say you should buy something that you always wanted to eat or maybe a toy or something." Vent answered then he began thinking of what he would want. "(Hmm, we should I buy? I've always wanted this cool action figure. Maybe I should buy that.)" Vent thought to himself. "Well, it's a good thing we're small, because that will make it easier for us to hide and harder for you guys to find us, and I couldn't imagine if it's the other way around and you guys have to hide. We would find you easily, especially Yoh." Vent said with a smile. "Hey! Just because I'm tall doesn't mean- Uhh, never mind.... But with my trained eyes, this'll be a cinch." Yoh said confidently, pointing to himself with his thumb. "Haha, we'll see." Vent responded.

Yuri smiled and said, "Ok, since we're all ready you guys close your eyes and count to 100 by 5's. When you start then we'll hide." Masako nodded and closed her eyes. Once Yoh and Gayra did the same she began counting. After the counting was done with she opened her eyes and the kids were no where in sight. "Well I guess it's time to get this thing started." She stood up, stretched, and walked off. "I think I'll start looking by those crawling tube looking things."

[Grunt Issun]

Reum jumped up into the trees and then hid right in the middle of all the brush, and tryed to put the humans off course before they finsihed counting by throwing small pebles in a trail, that led to a hole near the pond, "that should do it" He thought to himself, then began to be totaly silent, "I'll get to the bench in no time" Meanwhile, the humans finished counting, "Alright, I gotta win, then I can have Reum do what ever I want, so, if I was a mamodo, where would I hide?" Gayra thought and saw the pebles, "Hah, he actually left a trail, this couldnt be easier," he said and started walking twords the hole, "Ok, two away, one more and we can all make a dash for it," Reum thought

Before the group had finished counting, Vent had quietly hid himself. Yoh stayed near the bench and looked around for awhile. After seeing the trail, Yoh quickly grabbed Gayra before he could run off. "Gayra hold it. Don't you think it's a bit too convenient that there's a trail. Maybe they're trying to trick us, we should hold off on going in that direction. We should check places like nearby bushes or trees or something else first. Usually that's where people would choose to hide. I'll stay near the bench to keep an eye on thing while I'm searching. You should check bushes and trees." Yoh eplained as he continued to peer around to see any signs of clothing behind nearby trees.

[Grunt Issun]

"...no...I don't think you understand, first off, Mamodo can hold their breath much longer then humans, so they could hide in the pond for a long time, or find an air spot, where they cant be seen, trees and bushes are too obvious, youve gotta think outside the box, duh" Gayra said and went off, despite what Yoh said, "wow, I thought yoh almost got me there," Reum thought to himself, "I just need to wait for him to leave, just for a few second, and then just like we planned, we'll all make one mad dash for the bench, with only one person remotley close to the bench, it will be easy for one of us to reach it."

Yoh facepalmed himself as he saw Gayra ran off. "Why doesn't he listen.... {Sigh} Well, guess I can't stop him, but now I'm here by myself. The odds are against us winning now because those two ran off without even thinking of a plan.... but.... I'll just have to stick close by here and look around." Yoh peered up into the trees to see if anything suspicious was going on. Vent was hiding nearby behind a garbage can. "(C'mon Yoh, just move away from the bench....)" Vent thought to himself. "Hmm.... Come on, one of you have to be hiding here somewhere, but where?...." Yoh then began to slight move to the left a little bit, still keeping in the bench's range. "(C'mon Yoh, just- Uh-oh.... I need to sneeze....)" Vent thought to himself as he covered his mouth and nose with both hands.
