Creepy pics >.< Scary!!' But love the effects!! 100/10' Epic Victory!!!

They're supposed to be scary :D Thank your very much.

I just finished American McGee's Alice. Actually, I had the game once... but like most things you hold dear, they vanish sometimes... and back then, I wasn't able to finish it. Now I bought it anew, all hail teh amazon! And I beat the game in 3 days. It was awesome! Yes, it was better than the Tim Burton film (though comparing those two is like comparing apples and eggs), but even on its own its one of the best games I played in recent memory (just to remind you, this game is from 2000). The graphics are amazing for the time, the sound (composed from the drummer of Nine Inch Nails... I'm not making this up, the drummer of Nine Inch Nails...) is creepy and supports the dark and macabre atmosphere of the game. The controls are a bit flawed (especially the camera), but hell, who cares! They even had good german voice actors for that (a thing thats as rare as a living Dodo I'd say)!

I... can't... wait for Alice: Madness Returns! Who's with me? I asked: WHO'S WITH ME? If you don't answer, the OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!

Ah... I got sidetracked again

This time, we add one of the main enemies from the video game. Just because I feel like it. That it's also one of the main enemies of the Burton movie... thats just a coincidence. Here ya go, beware the JABBERWOCKY. In the book, he may be only a poem... but you should beware him anyways. It's a serious card... more or less.

I should stop capitalizing everything...

So long,

Spoon

The Jabberwocky is awesome. The previous 3 cards are really great as well. I think there is one OCG error you repeat in almost all cards and that is putting the Counters' name in quotations. There are no quotes there>

That's the only minor minor minor flaw I can see. So it's no biggie

Keep up the good work!

Btw, how many cards do you intend to make?

Thanks for the flattery :D About that OCG thingy... WHAT?! Don't tell me... I have to change them all... again! Please don't tell me that...

Btw, how many cards do you intend to make?

As many as I have ideas for. I'm running out of decent monster card ideas (though I still have 2 or 3 up my sleeves) and there can never be enough Spell and Trap cards as far as I'm concerned. Of course I have to go highly experimental with that, most of them aren't even based on the books, films or games anymore, I base them on the pictures I find. Like this one:

A high risk, high returns continous spell card called "Take it to the Real World". Destroying everything Wonderland related except for Alice, boosting her even further. And in your 5th turn after activation... well, you can never escape Wonderland long enough... not if you're as insane as Alice gradually seems to become. I really loved that game. Seriously, you had a power up where Alice's skin turned blood red and horns (yeah, multiple) grew out of her forehead... that was intimidating!

Ah, getting sidetracked once more. Even if I should run out of ideas... I still have another project going on that will come after this one (see my sig). Also I surely can rely on the members to give me more ideas or contribute their own cards to this set (feel free to do so, I'll add them and give you the credits if I think the card fits in), like Красивая Ведьма reminded me of the Duchess.

So long,

Yeah, I think you'll have to change them all. Sorry..... :(

About ideas, I'm not sure if I can give you any, but I'll keep watching the progress of the set ;)

If something comes to mind I'll tell immediatelly (OK, maybe not immediately :D)

About the new card all I can say is that it's a ticket to victory (well, kinda). I reccommend using place instead of add when it concerns Counters. Other than that, the card is a real beast! Nice job once again!

P.S.: OK, you're officially getting a rep right now! ^_^

Done, done aaaaand done. God, what a redundant work <_<

Watching is more than I can ask for, you can also keep your ideas and make your own deck, I don't mind :P Btw. I just counted: I still have 8 cards from this set unpublished.

Done. A beast it is, this set needs moar win optionz!!!

P.S.: OK, you're officially getting a rep right now!

Oh well, thank you, come again :D

awesome new cards ! 9.5/10

Glad you like them, like always :)

These cards are really awesome. OCG is off in some places but everything else is great. 9.7/10 Nice job.

Again, glad you like them :) I know about the OCG issue, it's a mess. If you see an error that applies to all my cards (like the quotation-stuff for the Counters) please inform me about it. If it's just a minor issue on one or two cards, don't bother with it, I'm still new and will get the hang of it soon enough (at least I hope I do  ).

No new cards for now, but maybe this evening. We'll see...

Edit: I had to delete the emoticons out of your quotes... sorry for that... this forum wants to mock me once more

ummm Spoon, you know who's next.... like planning?

You mean the card I'm going to put on next? Normally my stomach takes this decision, I have nothing to do with that. Since the last card was a card I totally made up, the next one is probably a more generic one, like the Dormouse or the Mock Turtle... but maybe I'll surprise you with another card without any common sense (oh yeah... I have another rule screwer in this set that makes any tactic you'd ever be going for totally obsolete), who knows

Next up: the (boring) Dodo.

Okay, maybe not that boring, but finding pictures other than Disney or Burton is kinda hard for him.

The effect seems meaningless... but that's because it is  You can either try to discard the drawn card or simply keep it for 1000 Life Points. Not that effective, but it's alright I guess.

Next would be the promised "rule screwer", another made up card... but I guess you have to wait till sunday, because I won't be around for another two days ;)

That Dodo is really amusing :D

Love the picture!! Good job! ^_^

P.S.: Btw I added a card to the Dual Types. Check it out if you want ;)

Hehe, thank you, and of course I'll look at yours, why wouldn't I? :D

Btw.: I added another card I came up with 1 minute ago. I know, the OCG on this is completely screwed, if anybody knows another wording for the effect (which is hopefully clear enough), I'd appreciate it. The effect is as nonsensical as always, but can come in handy if used with the right timing... who knows

I get the effect but I have no idea how you can do this during every phase. Wouldn't that make the game a bit slow and complicated?

Hmm... maybe I should reduce it to "In either players Standby Phase (and End Phase)", read: 1 or 2 times per turn? Though it would take out the "race" part, kinda... more opinions?

I meant Красивая Ведьма. She seems to be quite in to this and she might be able to help you.

Sea of Tears: You can only activate this card if there are at least 5 Too Late Counters on "Welcome to Wonderland". Send every Level 4 or lower face-up monster with a Level of 4 or lower on the field to its owner's hand. For every card added to a player's hand that way, he/she gains 600 Life Points.

The Invisible Grin: You can Special Summon this card from your hand by Tributing 1 "Wonderland - The Cheshire Cat" you control. If this card is Special Summoned, place 3 Too Late Counters on "Welcome to Wonderland". Increase this card's ATK and DEF by 200 for every Too Late Counter on "Welcome to Wonderland". This card cannot be destroyed by battle (damage calculation is applied normally). As long as this card remains face-up on the field, both players draw cards from their opponents Deck instead.

The 2 new cards are great. I love the Grin one. You basically swap your Decks. Could prove quite useful especially since the "Wonderland" cards won't really work with the opponent's Deck :D

Nice job, man!

Done, done aaaaand done once more, thank you very much (for... eh... everything) :)

The Dormouse on the way... and I'm really running out of ideas. Only some creatures are left (Duchess, Gryphon and the Mock Turtle definitely being some of them), and no Spell or Trap Cards  Fortunately I can now read "Through the Looking Glass" and, hopefully, get more ideas via that ;) Until then, I have to slow down a bit, at a maximum of 1 new card a day. Hope you can live with that

The Dormouse is a nice Counter booster. One thing bothers me though. What do you remove with the last effect - the mouse or the Field Spell?

Hell, in Wonderland even a mouse can tear a world apart  No, of course not, I'll change it to "this card", thanks for telling me ;)

Card Assault (a pretty boring, but generally necessary card in this set) added. You really don't need to comment that.

The reason why I added it is way more interesting :P

I'll invite a friend over in 2 days... and if he agrees, I can test this set against his selfmade cards! I already printed and cropped them (they look horrible, but for testing it'll do)... and now I wanted to hear your (very short) opinion on the deck list... I can't post this in "Your Deck" after all, they'd totally kill me for that :D

So, here ya go, the deck list:

[spoiler=Deck List]

Wonderland Deck:

Main Deck:

Monster (1-4) -> 15

Alice x3

Card Soldier x3

Dormouse x3

Cheshire Cat x2

Mock Turtle x2 (Can negate a Spell or Trap by removing it from Graveyard)

March Hare x1

Mad Hatter x1

White Rabbit x1

Tweedles x1

Monster (5-10) -> 6

Queen of Hearts x2

Gryphon x1 (Special Summoned when Alice is sent to the Graveyard, can Summon Alice from your Graveyard by tributing it)

Caterpillar x1

Invisible Grin x1

Jabberwocky x1

Spells -> 13

Wonderland x3

Tea Party x2

Watch the Time x2

Card Assault x2

Advice x1

Real World x1

Caucus Race x1

Polymerization x1

Traps -> 7

Croquet x2

Roses in Wonderland x2

Grinning Moon x1

Trial x1

Revenge x1

Side Deck:

Mad Alice x1

Heartless CA x1

As you can see some of the cards are not included, because they're just for fun and don't really support this theme in a (more or less) real duel. Just tell me what you think, what cards did I miss and what cards can be cut. Since I have no real experience, it was kinda hard to tell... if I want to win, I really need your help :(

Eh yeah... if you're not interested in this stuff, just don't mention it, it's fine, really... just comment on the cards then

So long,

Spoon
