Okay so this s the third 1on1 out of 4 for the Light Organization's First Battle Royal. The Task was to make a LIGHT only Support Monster Card. The Winner is determined by 5 Votes. Voters have to have a Good Reason for Voting or the Vote does not Count. Note: "Because it has a better Picture" is not a Valid Vote. The Winner of this 1on1 Goes to the Semi-Finals of the Battle Royal and will need to face one of the other Current 1on1 Winners. Thank you for Reading and Please Vote.

If this card battles a Dark Monster, increase its ATK by 1000 (Permanently). This card cannot be destroyed  by battle with a Dark Monster (damage calculation is applied normally).

While this card is face-up on your side of the field, your opponent cannot select a face-up LIGHT monster as an attack target except "Defender of Order". When "Defender of Order" is sent from your side of the field to the graveyard, increase the ATK of all LIGHT monsters on your side of the field by 500 points.

Wasn't the task to make a light support monster? in which the 1st card is not a light support card. caiba's card has ocg errors and a bit one dimensional. tyler's card is a bit underpowered but has more versatility than caiba's.

Caiba's has bad OCG. Since there's stupid rules, I have to state them. The part where it says increase it by 1000 (permenately), it's not supposed to be in parenthensese, and I'm not sure if that's correct at all. But I'll name another. When it says this card cannot be destroyed by battle with a Dark monster, one, there's two spaces between destroyed and by, two, DARK is supposed to be all caps. That entire sentence isnt even right OCG, but I think I've said enough with OCG errors. Let's get on with the OP'ed part of it. It's not REALLY op'ed, but if you're battling any DARK monster, then it's almost impossible to lose after you battle it. There's a lot of decks with at least 5 or more DARK monsters in it. Tyler's has crystal clear OCG, except for a few Caps lock errors. Like ur supposed to capatalise Face-up, and he didnt twice. But Tyler's has less errors than caiba's. I think they're both reasonable cards, and can actually both be real cards as long as there's no OCG erros.

i hope this isn't off topic but some your ocg fixes aren't right jumpking.

(permanently) is proper OCG, it's found on Light End Dragon:

However, this phrase doesn't need to be mentioned. According to conventional ruling, if you don't mention till end of turn or something of that nature, an ATK/DEF change is permanent. Ex: Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind. Your right about the caps for attributes, but his sentence is fine, minus the extra space. See:

The word face-up does not have to be capitalized, there are lots of examples out there, look them up.

Improving OCG is integral in YCM, but don't make corrections that your unsure of.

srry, i didnt kno you had to state the ocg errors. btw, i listed them out in my second post. i didnt make my vote based on ocg errors, i made it based on versatility and usefulness. also, jumpking correction arent really accurate, but it's your call =O

Hmm this was short. i give my vote to Tyler

 

Reason:

Caibas card has it's symphaty whit dna transplant that givves it some kind of immortality, and if you use some card that gives it two attack(example Twin swords of flashing tryce) it will get so big that it kicks anything that will come near it. so that's why so OP. i'm not gpoing to comblame about the OCG cous i can't fix it.

 

To Tylers card. Littlebit Unpowered. It's prety weak but can give some more time. Locking opponte whit two of them and then tributing some ´LIGHT Monster that's lvl 7 or higer to give it 1000 atk boost. not very hig but still usefull.

 

So like i said Tyler got my vote.
