"And I think the time is nearing for us to face Team Sacred. I hope you have a strategy prepared, 'Cross'."

"Until now only Scar posed a threat, let's see if you do the same!" Fredric smiled and sped along the arena's course.

"Of course, you fool!" Claw sounded annoyed. He probably thought that his comrades would've defeated at least one of the Team Nirvana members by now.

"Oh! You think you're going to pull a Yusei on me?" Fredric grinned while taunting Claw. "Trying to defeat me, my brother and Lex by yourself? I don't think so, but we'll see. It's your turn!"

"Indeed! Draw!" Claw drew a card and looked at it. Fredric currently had only Parvati, equipped with Glorious Offerings, and a face-down on his field. Claw had Gorz the Emissary of Darkness and an Emissary of Darkness Token on his field.

 

"Looks like the god of fortune smiles at me!" Claw placed the card on his field. "I activate The Claw of Hermos!"

As he placed the card on his field, the red dragon appeared behind him.

"I use the effect of Claw of Hermos to transform my Emissary of Darkness Token into the equipment card Slasher of the Dark Emissary!"

The dragon disappeared, and Claw's token started to turn into a gigantic, black blade. Fredric kept smiling.

"I equip the Slasher to my Gorz, doubling his attack points!"

 

Gorz the Emissary of Darkness (2700 --> 5400)

 

"Now, Gorz! Attack Parvati and end Fredric's killing spree!" Claw yelled and pointed at Parvati. Gorz leaped into the air and made ready to attack her.

"I think your strategy had a flaw." Fredric calmly said. "I think you missed my set card here. No matter, I'll activate it now anyway!"

The card was flipped face-up and revealed a picture of a godlike figure.

"It's called Divine Protection. By activating it when you attack one of my monsters, I may tribute an accurate number of monsters to Special Summon a DIVINE monster in my hand and redirect your attacks target to it." Fredric, looked at Claw and had a very evil grin printed on his face. "The Glorious Offerings equipped to Parvati makes her worth two tributes when I summon a DIVINE monster!"

Parvati disappeared, and suddenly the clear sky darkened by clouds and thunders started to roll across the sky.

"I summon..."

A gigantic human-like creature started to decend from the sky. It had blue skin, four arms and it's chest was naked, revealing big muscles. It had long, black hair and it's eyes was glowing red.

"Shiva, the Divine Destroyer!" (4000/4000)

The creature roared and the glass globe covering the arena was shattered, and pieces of shattered glass fell on the crowd. Fredric laughed.

"You should feel lucky, I've never had to summon him before." Fredric said, and one could notice that his eyes were also glowing red, just like Shiva's.

Claw, altough looking intimidated by Shiva's appearance, smiled.

"But Shiva's attack points are merely four thousand, Gorz attack will be just enough to eliminate your life points!" He laughed.

"I activate Shiva's effect!" Fredric's voice had turned darker.

 

"Fredric has already showed what powers Shiva contains! What more may come from it!?" The announcer didn't seem to care that half the crowd had ran away when the glass started to rain.

 

"When Shiva battles he is able to equip a card equipped to another monster on the field to himself during the course of the battle. I think you know which equip card I'm talking about..." Fredric smiled.

Claw looked up to Shiva and his face had turned all wet from the sweat dripping from his cheek.

"Claw! This is the Destruction Deity's Judgment! Godforced Destruction!!!"

 

Shiva (4000 --> 8000)

 

As Shiva used Gorz own sword to eliminate him, Claw's life points was vanquished, and Claw lost control of his D-Wheel, crashing into the wall of the course. He would probably never be able to duel again...

 

Fredric slowed down as both Shiva, the clouds and the glow in his eyes disappeared. He stopped the D-Wheel, dismounted it and unequipped his helmet. He smiled victorious and raised his fist as the remaining crowd let out a gigantic cheer.

I'm victorious once again! Soon our wish will be fullfilled... He opened his fist. The Dharmachakra earring he was holding shone in the sunlight.

 

((You guys should probably notice that a card matching the animé-power of the God Cards was summoned.))

Cross walked up to his D-Wheel and saw that Jean had already gotten to his.

Good Luck Jean. He said, smiling to his opponent.

Jean looked on ahead, paying no attention to anything else.

RIDING DUEL ACCELERATION!

 

Cross decided to let Jean make the first move...trying to figure out what deck he has.

I'll start. I activate Speed Spell - Continue Summon. This is a Continuous Spell that lets me place 1 Continuous Spell on my field for every 1000 Points of damage I take.

Cross Looked interested in what the man would do next.

Next I activate, The Dark Door! This Continuous Spell allows only one monster to attack per turn. However, due to the effect of Speed World 2 I take 2000 points of damage for activating a non-Speed Spell Spell.

But thanks to the effect of Continue Summon, I can place 2 Jam Breeding Machines to the field. I set 1 card face down and end my turn.

Cross looked at his hand and knew he had already won the duel.

My turn, Draw! I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus and put Topaz Tiger in my Spell and Trap.

Cross Looked at Jean with determined eyes.

Now I activate Speed Spell - Over boost! Giving me 4 Speed Counters (5SC) Now I Activate Speed Spell - Speed Energy! Increasing my Pegasus's Attack by 1000! (Attack 2800).

Go Pegasus! End this Duel!

 

Not so fast! I activate Draining Shield, negating your attack, and increasing my Life Points by the attack of your Pegasus.

Tsk. I activate Speed world's effect you take 800 damage for each Speed Spell in my hand (Angel Baton) by removing 4 Speed Counters.(1SC)

I gain two Jam Tokens because of the effect of my Jam Breeding Machine! Now, I send my two Jam Breeding Machines to the Graveyard to Special Summon Anteatereatingant! Next I activate Speed Spell - High Speed Crash, and I destroy my Jam Token to Destroy your left face down! And I use Anteatereatingant to Destroy your remaining face down!

Jean looked pleased with the result of his efforts.

 

Its too bad both of my face downs were bluffs jean!

Jean looked shocked at what he had destroyed.

Thanks to the special effect of Crystal Release, When its sent to the Graveyard I can put Crystal Monsters from my deck to my Spell and Trap!

An Amethyst and Emerald Crystal appeared before Cross's D-wheel.

Jean resumed his turn.

I activate Mystic Wok! Destroying my Anteatereatingant, but giving me 2000 Life points! Then, I take 2000 for playing a non Speed Spell Spell.

So by the effect of Continue Summon, I can place 2 Continuous Spells on the field. So I play the remaining Continue Summons!

Cross watched Jean...wondering why he would activate 3 Continue Summons.

Jean Smiled and explained.

When I have 3 Continue Summons I can remove them all from play to Special Summon 1 Monster from my Deck ignoring summoning conditions!

Jean pulled out his monster without even looking at it.

Come forth! Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder!

A radiant God descended from the sky as a storm formed above them.

Unfortunately I can't attack the turn I summon using Continue Summon so I set 1 card and end my turn.

Cross Knew that there was only one thing left to do.

 

I Activate Speed Spell Angel Baton! And I discard Crystal Situatia!

Her Special Ability places her on the field as a Continuous Spell whenever she is sent to the graveyard! Next I activate Speed Spell - Life Bank

This Spell decreases my life points to 100 and gets removed from play, but during the End phase of this turn I gain the same amount I paid to activate the card.

Now since I have 4 Crystal Beasts in my Spell and Trap, I activate Crystal Abundance, to clear the field and rid you of Hamon.

Jean Smiled

I activate Interdimentional Matter Transporter, removing my monster from play until the end of the turn!

Cross smiled as his life points dropped to zero for activating a non Speed Spell spell.

As Cross came to the Pit he gave a thumbs up to Shem.

But Cici didn't even get on her Duel Runner. She just stood there, filing her nails like nothing was happening. Clover drove onto the track, but as she started to accelerate, a busting sound echoed through the stadium. A relatively small part had suddenly shot out of Clover's engine, causing the Duel Runner to suddenly shake and sputter as it fell apart. Cici grinned slightly as the machine collapsed into parts, sending Clover flying.

"Uhh...umm...what an incredible turn of events!" The MC finally spat out after the paramedics started to arrive. "Clover, the best duelist on Team Orichalcos, just had her Duel Runner fall apart! She is out of the game, leaving the weakest, Alex, for Cici!"

Cici looked up as she heard her name. "Huh? What? Oh, yeah. Right." She got on her Duel Runner and revved onto the field as a nervous-looking girl drove up alongside the Dark Signer.

[~Duo~]

Duo merely shrugged and grunted his acknowledgment as a response to Akarui and closed his eyes, apparently thinking deeply. Whatever he was thinking of, no one but he knew. He pulled his sword out of its sheath and absentmindedly spun it repeatedly, gracefully. I wonder... Is Team Wicked as strong as they sound? I hope so, otherwise this will be too boring for my tastes.

 

Ignis, however, had a different reaction. He grinned and nodded, saying, "Alright, and if I can, I can help you bring him out on the field, but I doubt that you won't be able to do it yourself." He flinched once as Duo's sword came near to cutting him in half, but remained passive after that, cocking his head at him.

"Fusion of Worlds" Universe

It was another rainy day in New Domino, especially in the Daimon Area, where a very interesting tenant was going about her usual tune-up.

At first glance, Aki Drakensis looked like some sort of life-sized porcelain doll of Akiza Fudo, but that was just the surface. Her very intricate joints appeared to be made of a dark shiny metal, and her skin plates were shiny and smooth, but they also had a bit of a warmth to them. Aki also has several pieces of metallic pink armor, but she had taken those off to work on herself, revealing even more joints.

The only human-looking section of her body was her head. She had pink hair curled up in a style that Akiza used a little, orange eyes that shifted colors depending on the lighting, and an absolutely flawless complexion.

But right now, she had removed her upper breastplate and was working on her insides.

"And, let's see...there...we...go!"

But just as Aki finished adjusting the part she was working on, the doorbell rang.

"Hold on!" Aki cried out as she grabbed a bathrobe, since she was technically naked, and put it on. "Coming!"

Aki walked to the door and opened it to find a pale blonde man with polarized sunglasses and a black and red trenchcoat and an Asian man with a military uniform.

"Hello, Aki." Desna greeted.

"Desna? What are you doing here?"

Desna proceeded to explain.

Shem quickly jumped onto his motorcycle, placing his card dealer on the motorbike and sped after his opponent. I got that Hamon to worry about now, though I can easily attack him for game before he gets to play it. His buddy gets it after. Well at least I got more lifepoints here, lets hope that I get to use them.

 

"I activate the Speed Spell : Overboost! I'm sure you already know the mechanics, I get four more Speed Counters as long as I reduce them to one after this turn!"

 

"This allows me to play the Speed Spell : Summon Speeder! Which allows me to give up the four Speed Counters I have to Special Summon a Level Four monster from my hand, and I'm picking my Blizzard Dragon!"

 

A bright blue dragon appeared next to the pegasus, swirling around while keeping up with the Duel Runner (ATK: 1800)

 

"Now I Tribute my Blizzard Dragon to Normal Summon my Strong Wind Dragon!

 

The blue dragon faded away as larger, stronger, darker blue dragon appeared to take its place (ATK: 2400).

 

"Thanks to the effect of Strong Wind Dragon! If I tributed a Dragon monster I get to add half of the Dragon's attack to him!"

 

A bright blue aura appeared around the large dragon, increasing its already large size (ATK: 3300).

 

"Now! Strong Wind Dragon! Sapphire Pegasus! Direct attack!"

 

The Pegasus was faster, charging ahead of the dragon and striking Jean with his hooves.

 

Then the large dragon flew into the air, wings outstretched and then dived down to Jean's Duel Runner, obliterating his lifepoints completely.

 

"I'll set one card face down and end my turn here! Also thanks to Cross' Life Bank earlier I get 3900 lifepoints that he left over!"

Hand: 1

Monsters: Sapphire Pegasus, Strong Wind Dragon.

 

The Hamon user returned to the pit, quickly giving Hamon to his second duelist, Mick and sending him off.

 

"It's my turn! Draw!"

 

"Due to the effects of my comrade's Matter Transporter I obtain Hamon on my side of the field!"

 

"Hamon! Attack Strong Wind Dragon! Lost Thunder!"

 

"Not today! I activate the Trap Card

Alex nervously started the duel. (SPC: 1) (Alex: 8000 LP)

"I d-d-draw, and I p-p-play Orichalcos G-G-Gigas in Attack Mode!"

A large bestial brawler appeared alongside the girl's Duel Runner. (400 ATK)

"And I set a f-f-face-down card before ending m-m-my turn!"

 

Cici calmly drew her card. (SPC: 2) (Carly: 4000 LP)

"I draw, and I Normal Summon Fortune Lady Lighty in Defense Mode."

A cute blonde, yellow-clad magician popped out of a portal and floated next to the Dark Signer. (200 DEF)

"I set a face-down card and end my turn."

 

Alex drew her card, and wondered about Cici before deciding "I p-p-play Speed Sp-sp-spell - High Speed C-c-crash!"

Gigas charged at the Wall of Revealing Light, and smashed into the defensive shield, destroying it.

"My Sp-sp-speed Spell can d-d-destroy one of my m-m-monsters for one of y-y-yours, and since my G-g-gigas was destroyed, I can Sp-sp-special Summon him immediately, and h-h-have him gain 500 ATK!"

Gigas reappeared, and roared, powering up. (400 ATK -> 900 ATK)

"Gigas, atack her L-l-lighty!"

Gigas charged at Lighty, and was about to smash into the small spellcaster, when Carly flipped up her face-down.

"Slip of Fortune. It negates your attack and temporarily removes my monster from play."

Lighty disappeared, and Gigas reappeared next to Alex.

"Since my Lighty was removed from the game, I can now Special Summon Fortune Lady Firey from my Deck."

A redheaded, red-clad sorceress was summoned in Lighty's place. (400 ATK)

"Now Firey's effect activates, destroying your Gigas and dealing you damage equal to its ATK!"

Firey shot out a fireball that incinerated the beast and hurt Alex. (Alex: 7100 LP)

"But n-n-now Gigas comes b-b-back, with more ATK!" (900 ATK -> 1400 ATK)

"But, since I can't do anything, I end!"

 

Cici drew her card, and smiled. (SPC: 4)

"Now my Firey gains a level, but I have more important things to do, such as activate Speed Spell - Summon Speeder, allowing me to Special Summon Deltafly in Attack Mode!"

A strange dragon swooped down and glided next to Cici. (1500 ATK)

"Now I will Tribute Firey to Normal Summon Fortune Lady Darky!"

A purple-themed witch took Firey's place. (2000 ATK)

"Now I will increase my Fairy's Level with Deltafly!"

Darky powered up thanks to the dragon. (2000 ATK -> 2400 ATK)

"Deltafly, attack Gigas!"

Gigas was destroyed, but returned even more powerful. (1400 ATK -> 1900 ATK) (Alex: 7000 LP)

"Now Darky, destroy Gigas!"

Darky fired off a blast of shadow energy, which caused the beast to leave, albeit for a few seconds. (1900 ATK -> 2400 ATK) (Alex: 6500 LP)

"Now my Darky's effect activates, Special Summoning Firey again, which will destroy your Gigas and inflict damage once again!"

Firey reappeared, and blasted Gigas, destroying it once more and consuming Alex in flames. (Alex: 4100 LP)

But Gigas just came back, and looked even more mad, though Alex was stunned at Cici's skills. (2400 ATK -> 2900 ATK)

"I end my turn by setting a card. " Cici calmly replied.

[Dark Carly]

Alex was confused. "W-w-what are you d-d-doing?!? I n-n-now have the u-u-upper hand!"

Cici retorted "You still underestimate me."

Alex laughed, and pointed at Lighty. "Then l-l-let me t-t-test your a-a-abilities!"

Gigas charged at the little spellcaster, but Cici flipped up her Trap.

 

Fortune Reversal

Activate only when you control at least 2 "Fortune Lady" monsters, one of which is the target of an attack or an effect. Select 1 "Fortune Lady" on your side of the field. Tribute from play all "Fortune Lady" monsters except the selected monster. Increase the Level of the selected "Fortune Lady" monster by the total Levels of the Tributed "Fortune Lady" monsters, then shift the target of the attack or effect to the selected "Fortune Lady" monster.

 

Lighty and Firey disappeared, and Darky became even more powerful, obliterating Gigas. (2400 ATK -> 4000 ATK) (Alex: 3000 LP)

But, as Gigas came back, a familiar face merged from a dark portal generated by Darky. (2900 ATK -> 3400 ATK)

"Remember Firey's effect? Because, I have to say that the third time's a charm!"

Firey's fireball generated a huge explosion that consumed Alex in the flames as she lost not just the duel, but her life. (Alex: 0 LP)

Cici rolled up to Alex's charred remains and looked at the corpse with disdain. As she did so, the shocked MC got a notification. "Ladies and gentlemen, I've just been notified that Clover has died of internal injuries on the way to the hospital, and Sam has suffered a heart attack from the shock of this explosion! Team Orichalcos has not just lost, they are dead! Team Nitro has won the qualifying round!"

Cici rolled into the pit and walked off. "You're welcome." She replied to her stunned teammates.

[Fader]

Xion looked at Carly. He began to think. "This chick is nuts!" Xion accepted the Orichalcos Kyutora from his opponent. Xion started to speak. "Nice job! 2 for 1!" Xion started to think again. "She may be a cold killer and a nice duelist but that wish is mine." Xion walked around."Well i dont have to duel again for a while. I have an ancient evil in my deck." "I wish i could use it but i cant pronounce it!" Xion paced in circle tinking about the rainbow

Protheus didn't bother to see what that Trap card was. "Now it's my turn, I bet." He muttered. "Draw!" He drew his card. As he rode, he looked at each card. "I activate Speed Spell Maximum Acceleration, it increases my speed counters by ten, at the cost of half my life points." A red aura surrounded him, but he endured it before it disappeared. He waited for his opponent, Mick, to counter, but he couldn't. How pathetic. "I activate the Speed Spell New Moon" He took a card from his hand and then activated it. A black spot then appeared shortly above him, covering part of the sky. "Now then, I pay another half of my life points, due to the effect of this New Moon here, and discard one "Black Wolf Werewolf" and one "Black Vampire" to Special Summon.....this!"

He was going to finish this quickly. "Vangraph gedveh paurgon nadrux gerfam! Go, Black Wolf Werepyre!" A gigantic wolf with vampire fangs and wings then appeared from nowhere (ATK 3300). It didn't float in the sky, it was running along his D-Wheel. "Now I activate its effect, by paying half my life points, I can increase its ATK by 1000!" The werepyre then jumped onto Protheus's Runner and bit him. Protheus endured the bite, and then the werepyre jumped off again. Its fangs and claws grew (ATK 4300). ".....Destroy it! Destroy that sacred beast!" And the werepyre ran to the Lord of Striking Thunder and then struck through it, tearing off its head. It then went back to Protheus, and he was only smiling.

"Strike through my opponent with thunder, Sapphire Pegasus and Strong Wind Dragon! Now how about it?"

Meanwhile, in the stadium Team Nitro just dueled in, the MC was gearing up for the next preliminary match, when a young man in a black and red three-piece suit and trenchcoat walked in. "Hey, MC. Can I see the mike for a minute?"

"Who are you?!?"

The young man pulled some sort of large, dangerous weapon out of his trenchcoat, a space that he couldn't have possibly have been carrying it in. "See this? This is a phased ion cannon. It shoots, obviously, phased ions. Each of these ions can disrupt the molecular bonds of any substance within a picometer of the impact zone. Now, that might not seem like much, but consider that this gun bombards anything in the direction of its business end with 100,000 phased ions a second. With this much firepower, my gun can disintegrate a solid cubic meter of dyne within seconds. Think of what it will do to you? The good thing is that, if I aim it right, you won't feel a thing."

The MC backed up to her control panel. "You wouldn't dare hit me with that!"

The man smirked. "You're half-right. I wouldn't fire this puppy on such a sweet thing as you." The MC blushed, until she was sent flying out of her podium and into the crowd by the blunt end of the weapon smacking her in the face. "But I would hit you with this!" He cried out the the stunned MC. He put down his dangerous weapon, and grabbed the microphone. "Hey! Team Polar! I'm Desna Adats, leader of Team Time Fcuk, and we're ready to fcuk you up! Got it?!? I'll see you on the track in 5 minutes!" He put his gun away in his dimensional trenchcoat, and jumped down to the MC. He helped her back up to her podium, and gave her a large amount of money and an apology note before leaving.

Cici heard Desna's little challenge, and ran over to her teammates, grabbed them by the shoulders, and started dragging them to the stands. "Come on! Don't you want to watch that jerk who swore over the intercom?!? He sounds like a real badass, and he will probably be fun to watch! Plus, we could get intel on the opposition! No one has heard of this 'Team Time Fcuk', and now they've shown up out of the blue to duel! We could learn something by watching this prelim! Besides, you two are getting heavy!"[/color]

Team Polar, which consisted of a group of ice-themed duelists, Hikaru "Light" Yukikami, a boy genius from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, Sakura Boryalisky from Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, Russia, and Adam Rammschtien from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, were an unlikely choice to be chosen by the Three Polar Gods as their newest emissaries, but they somehow fit the bill. Hikaru happened to uncannily resemble a certain character from a certain manga about deadly notebooks, but with heavier winter clothing. Sakura was Japanese-Russian, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale skin, yet an angelic complexion, almond-shaped eyes, and a heart-shaped face. She usually wore pink, and her primary choice of clothing was a fur-collared parka, a pair of pants with a skirt built in, and pink snow boots. Adam was Norwegian-Canadian, and the only one with a firm connection to the Three Polar Gods, though they all were descended from Norse heroes according to their new masters. Adam had spiky black hair, emerald-green hawk-like eyes, and a lanky yet muscular build covered in a light-blue jacket. All three of them looked ready to hit the slopes and do various activites in the snow. In fact, their Duel Runners resembled powerful snowmobiles.

Light held the Polar God Loki, while Sakura had Thor, and Adam kept Odin. All three of them could cause their left eye to become etched with a strange rune representing their respective Polar God when they summoned their ace monster.

And all three of them were debating on who got to go first.

"It's obvious I get to duel him first. I'm usually the first one in the lineup anyways!" Hikaru protested.

"I thought I was going to smash him into a pulp!" Sakua whined. "Please?!? Can I show him the might of our most offensive Polar God?"

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the last match of the WRGP Infinity prelims! Today, we have Desna Adats, team leader of Team Time Kucf-"

"It's 'Time Fcuk'!" Desna cried out. He was riding in the back of what looked like a Warthog from Halo, but instead of a gun, it had a Duel Disk platform, where Desna now stood.

"Sorry. Team Time Fcuk. He's going up against Sakura Boryalisky, former teammate of Team Terrible, a Russian WRGP team, before she quit for unknown reasons at the same time Hikaru Yukikami left Team Ainu from Hokkaido and Adam Rammschtein went away from Team Maple of Canada. She's known for her Mjolnir monsters, powerful creatures that specialize in combining together! Desna, however, has no statistics or deck notes to his name! In fact his entire team's capabilities are unknown! Who knows what the lovely Sakura will be going up against in this duel!"

The "Duelhog" and the "Snowrunner" eventually parked at their starting places.

"Ready? 3, 2, 1, Riding Duel, Start!"

"DUEL!!!" Both challengers cried out as they sped down the track.

Xion grabbed Cicis hand and placed it down. "That would be nice to see this team but...nothing."

Xion sat down and looked through his deck. "It is time for Super Prisma."

He sat his deck back in his duel disk.

"This team is really...different."

Xion thought for a second. "But we have a killer."

"I draw!" Sakura declared. (SPC: 1)

"I play Mjolnir Shield Tortoise in Defense Position!"

A huge stone turtle that faintly resembled a giant shield appeared next to Sakura's Snowrunner, roared, and retreated into its shell, the creature floating next to the girl. (1900 DEF)

"I set a card and end my turn!"

 

"I draw." Desna bagen smoothly. (SPC: 2)

"I set 3 face-down cards, then end my turn."

 

Sakura wondered what Desna was up to. <No Monster Cards? He must have a bad hand! Time to take advantage of that!>

"I draw!" (SPC: 3)

"I will now Normal Summon Mjolnir Sentry in Defense Mode, then switch my Tortoise to Attack Mode!"

A weak-looking Viking behind a large wooden shield cowered as its companion popped out and roared. (1600 DEF) (1800 ATK)

"Now I will equip my Tortoise to my Sentry!"

The Tortoise retracted into its body, and the blue runes crisscrossing its shell started to glow. The beast titled so that it was perpendicular to the ground, then it started spinning faster and faster until it became a blue circle, at which point it slowed down, becoming a shield that replaced the Sentry's wooden one. (1600 DEF -> 2400 DEF)

 

Desna was unfazed. "I activate my Trap Card, Launchpad Construction!"

A huge structure started to be built in the middle section of the stadium.

"By discarding a Satellite Cannon, or in this case, a Satellite Plasma Buster, I can add a Launchpad Base to my hand, which I can Normal Summon without Tribute during my next turn!"

 

Sakura was confused. "Alright...I will end!"

 

Desna drew his card happily. (SPC: 4)

"Alright! Now, I get to Normal Summon Launchpad Base!"

The huge construction project was complete, revealing a huge oil-rig-like platform with several towers, which was attached to a giant rectangular structure several hundred feet tall. (3000 DEF)

"With my Launchpad Base on my field, I can Special Summon Satellite Communicator from my Deck!"

As the card appeared in front of Desna, a rocket launched up into space, where it deployed into a communications satellite. (0 ATK)

"Now I will discard a card to Special Summon Satellite Cannon with Launchpad Base!"

Another rocket, which had just recently replaced the first, fired into the atmosphere, and turned into a satellite. (0 ATK)

"He he he...now that I have a Level 1 Tuner and a Level 5 Satellite Cannon, I can execute a special type of Synchro Summon: Space Synchro Summoning!"

 

Sakura was astounded. "WHAT?!?"
